My whole existence is flawed...Upon being thrown back, Adrian pulled her arms close to her body and backflipped, landing more gracefully than she would have had she just went hurtling. She quickly passed her left hand on the burn on the opposite forearm, a white glow emanating from under her palm as the burn healed.
Adrian glared at her attacker. "Don't insult me! There is no strategy because a fight was not expected!"
Her stance was strong; legs apart, back straight, sword out in front of her. The General held her sword firm in preparation for Xylar's next attack....You get me Closer to God.

Luna bid farewell to her master and Morgance, the Neko Angel considered arguing the point with Adrian and pleading to go with them, but she thought it may also be the right choice to stay...Just as Luna had felt the disturbance and made her way to Adrians house, so might others as well.
She stood, holding and petting Drystan softly, using his paw to wave and bravely smile, hoping to offer Adrian some reassurance...
Luna watched until they vanished in the distance, then turned slowly, padding back inside to slump in her masters chair.
"It's going to be OK Drystan", she mewed softly at the kitten, "it's going to be OK.

Ronoku walked slowly, then came to a sudden stop. He had sworn he had heard some distant voices, then he heard a distant "a fight was not expected!" He looked over in the diection he had thought the sound had come from, "Seems I'm not the only one in the area." he said to himself and then started to jog in the direction of what he supposed was a female voice. Upon arrival he ducked behind a thick bush and peeked over the top, all he saw was a woman standing in a battle stance with a sword drawn. He traced where her eyes went but couldn't spot her attacker due to a very large tree obstructing the veiw.

Zombi3_Kill0r Ronoku walked slowly, then came to a sudden stop. He had sworn he had heard some distant voices, then he heard a distant "a fight was not expected!" He looked over in the diection he had thought the sound had come from, "Seems I'm not the only one in the area." he said to himself and then started to jog in the direction of what he supposed was a female voice. Upon arrival he ducked behind a thick bush and peeked over the top, all he saw was a woman standing in a battle stance with a sword drawn. He traced where her eyes went but couldn't spot her attacker due to a very large tree obstructing the veiw. ((You can't very well be where we are. Kurai Island is very private, it's inhabitants are very hostile towards intruders, and it's nearly impossible to find unless you already know where it is. I mean no offense to you, but please read the entire conversation before you reply, it will ease up a lot of confusion.))

 Xylar laughed as he pointed the blade towards the blonde.
"I do believe it was you who attacked me, was it not? Then how was it not expected? I've already assessed that you are strictly close combat oriented, on top of that, by reading your aura you have very little or no elemental capabilities, and you are easily enraged. But that is due to your angelic pride." Xylar taunted, waving Flametongue a bit as he finished.
The silver haired man then spun backwards, holding the sword above his head as he spun. Yet another flash of red light engulfed the blade as he arched. At the end of his spin, he thrust the blade down into the sand, releasing an enormous blaze of flames in a direct stream towards the General. If the angel were destroyed on Kurai Island, it would be outside of Heaven's Mandate for any of them to be persecuted due to their unwelcomed arrival. With that knowledge, Xylar found no difficulty in attacking with everything he had.

My whole existence is flawed...The General could feel anger welling up inside her, but attempted to remain calm to try and prove Xylar wrong. She smirked at the Kurai fighter. "Seems you are right. But now is not the time for schoolyard taunts! Stop talking and fight me!"
Adrian waited until the moment when the flames were right in front of her before kicking off on the ground and propelling her body sideways. She curved her body so that she cut a perfect arial, landing gracefully yet firmly on the sandy ground. Sand flew around her as Xylar's attack hit where she was standing only moments before.
A smirk seemed to be the General's expression of choice, for this sideways smile cracked her face just before she charged at Xylar, the tip of "Redemption" dragging along the ground, kicking up a trail of sand behind her. Adrian lept into the air, flipping behind the Kurai warrior so that she could bring her adamantium rapier to come crashing down between his neck and shoulder....You get me Closer to God.

 "HA!!! See there? No strategy!" Xylar sneered as he prepared to skewer the rebounding girl. Just as he was about to launch the sword into her ribcage, a loud voice rang out.
"XYLAR!!! CEASE!!!" Xylar turned around to see a very stately man standing at the top of the sandy beach path that led down from the white-rock cliffs. His silver aura blazed just as much as his silver eyes and hair.
Xylar lowered his sword and bowed a bit but kept a close eye on Adrian to ensure that she would not attack him.
"Lord Kestral... These intruders-" Xylar began but Kestral cut him off.
"That's enough, have we become so paranoid that we must attack anyone that visits our home?" He scolded Xylar, then turned his attention to the angels. "You two, what are your names and what is your business on Kurai Island?"
The power emanating from Kestral's form was so intense that the others would feel it vibrating within them. Even the sands seemed to pulse away from Kestral's incredible being.

My whole existence is flawed...Adrian growled at Xylar's comment. She was about to be hit by the warrior's next attack, but their battle was interrupted by a deep shouting voice. The General's head turned quickly toward the sound and her eyes fell upon the sight of none other than Kestral Silverdust, leader of the Kurai Clan.
Upon being adressed, Adrian bowed to the silver-haired leader. Morgance trodded barefoot through the sand to stand next to the Seraphim and curtsied shyly. "I am Adrian Werden, Seraphim General of Heaven." She raised her body and motioned toward the young woman beside her. "And I believe you've already met my ward, Morgance Haevynstorm."
Morgance nodded her head, speaking quietly. "It is very nice to see you, Lord Kestral."
The General sheathed her sword and dusted off her hands before placing them on her hips. "I have no doubt that you have already heard of the war between realms. I believe a discussion is to be had between us." She shot an angry look at Xylar. "No hostility is necessary. We merely want to talk." The Seraphim flashed a charismatic smile back at Kestral....You get me Closer to God.

Ronoku was still walking along the river and was at the moment soaking wet after a raccoon jumped at him and made him fall into the water after nearly gnawing his face off. He looked downsteam and a bit to the right spotted a yellow light, hopefully somone nice enough to let his clothes dry and give him a place to sleep for the night. He started off downsteam and down the path torwards the small house, soon coming upon the doors and knocked.

Luna was dozing and daydreaming with Drystan curled on her lap.
Thoughts of her master and the ensuing war flooded in and out of her head..She played out scenarios with various ways that she would save her masters life...but she was scared and felt insignificant and fragile..
*knock knock*
..huh..what..."ohh the door", she said to herself, placing Drystan down in her warm spot on the chair and padded to the door.
Luna looked through the peephole, she didn't recognize the person on the other side..the dripping wet person!
"Yes, can I help you?, who are you", the cat girl asked from behind the locked door
