Rowdy ran and tensed his muscles before the leap. As so many preys that he had killed this way. Ranulf must be proud to finally see that he had created the best beast of them all. He had found the best subject and gave that person the best DNA he could ever have done. Rowdy hated to show Ranulf this but it was the only way. Claws on both hand-paws and feet-paws dug into the humans body. With a single strong bite he snapped the neck. There was no way that Rowdy could give this man a slow death. After all had Ranulf been his mentor, teacher, creator and target. It was the tiny respect he had for the man that forced Rowdy to do it quickly. He bent down beside the body and closed the eyes of Ranulf as he spoke silent and softly for once. "Rest now old man. I will spread this race to the world and take it over. The world will see what you have done. Get some rest, your weak body won't hurt now! In a odd way you where like a father, but one I couldn't forgive!" Rowdy got up from his final prey on this base. A roar like never before came out of his lips. Now he needed to free everyone and lead them.

"Death Confirmed."
The computers voice rang out into the room. A holographic screen flicked into life, displaying tiny, strange, white symbols against the blue of the screen. The symbols flickered and changed to readable characters.
"Initiating Personality Matrix "Dr.Ranulf Koff"
"Loading..... please wait."
The loading bar quickly fled from one end of the screen to the other.
" God I look pathetic. "

Sari forced open the elevator doors and heard the roar shake the walls. She ran towards the sound, her wings, although unable to fly, making her strides longer than natural. She skid to a stop when she saw Ranulf's body and a wild looking man, Rowdy, standing above him. "I'd congragulate on killing him, but..." She pointed at the screen. "It seems as though he cheated death."

" Cheated Death? Hardly... He has an amazing has an amazing poker face you know." Ranulf's voice laughed.
"As you can see, I'm just about as dead as I can be. This is just a basic program designed to imitate my thought process.. though I can't say its perfect... My right leg itches like you wouldn't believe... And I think my humor circuits are malfunctioning..." He sighed.
"Wait a second, I'll bring myself up in a hologram, that should be easier." The screen disappeared, and it its place, a flicking Hologram of Dr. Ranulf Koff stood straightening his tie as if nothing had ever happened.
"Would somebody mind cleaning up my corpse? It makes one terribly nervous you know..."

Rowdy looked at the man quite calmly. He ignored the comments of the being that entered. He hadn't even looked at it, just heard the voice. He looked at the hologram and placed a foot on top of the corpse. "It stays as long it reminds me that I fulfilled my main goal. It's hard when you stand there. Now tell me where you have taken me and how I get home!" There Rowdy had plans on giving the world what Dr Koff had created. The b*****d might still have a plan and now that he most likely controlled all areas of this place, he needed Ranulf to help him. Well maybe he could just smash his fist to the wall until it brake or talk to a guard.

"I don't know Randy." He sighed, turning his holographic gaze towards him. " All I know is that you were the one to knock on our doors all those years ago. No one knows how you made it to our facility, frozen, half-dead, but you made it nevertheless. " He sighed and turned to face to Arctic landscape.
" I decided to use all my scientific knowledge to revive you, but when you finally woke up, there was a gigantic blank in your memory. Everything else is how you remember it I'm afraid." He told him.
" But I do know how you can get home. When I built this facility in the Arctic, I knew I would need a way to bring everything I needed, to me. There is an underground transport train, but it has just left. It will return within in one week, with new subjects." He replied, his image almost transparent in the afternoon sun.
" I'm here to help you as much as I can, Randy."

The guards became frightened around Jane. Ranulf was dead yet they heard his voice. They dropped her leash and ran though the doors they had taken her through she had to make sure he was dead. Jane ran all four paws in sync with her mind. She came to the elevator. He lay there dead. Two other experiments stood their next to him. She could tell the male experiment had killed him from the sight of the body. 'What to do now?' she thought.

Randy, Randy, RANDY! Why in hell did Ranulf keep calling him that? Well he stepped away from the body. So it wasn't just the experiments that had erased them. No, he had nothing behind him but a name. "Stop calling me Randy, it's Rowdy!" Then he started to think a bit. He was strong and determined but it took more to survive in the world. He knew that Ranulf kept them safe with their captivity. "So when we leave and all guards leave, you will stay here? I doubt it, you have a plan don't you? That's why I was placed in a unlocked holding cell? Did the guard fail in keeping me asleep for as long as you wanted? I've known you for a long time now and I can't think that you'll stay here in the Arctic for years and years. One day someone will pull a plug on you. No, you must have a plan?" Rowdy walked around, he couldn't figure this man out completely for at the moment all he had to do was to cut the main lines and Ranulf would be no more. If everyone left h would be alone until the computers combusted on their own. There was a catch somewhere in this escape plan.

Kai was finishing a 'test' of his strength, there was only one more target left.. he lunged and tore the 'failed' experiments throat with his fangs. Flinching as the guards shot a light sedative into his shoulder, Kai sighed lightly as it took effect, they cuffed his hands and feet, only giving enough chain to walk.
They pushed him forward headed toward his lovely room, even though he had been fighting Kai heard the commotion and wanted to join..so he waited until there were only three guards were near, then lifted his arms and choked one with the handcuffs, headbutt the second who then knocked his head into the wall and fell, and tackled the third, pressing on his throat till he passed out.
Kai searched the three and found the keys, releasing himself from the chains, then loped down the hall the most noise was coming from..
Three strong heartbeats pounded in his ears and the scent of blood hung in the air, Kai glanced around the corner and spotted three experiments not too far away.. he could tell the basic scents.. "Two cats and a bird?" he whispered, deciding not to approach yet, but listen and see what they were going to do.

"Row....dy?" His image flickered and spluttered.
"I'm sorry, there must have been a mistake in data transfer. Let me adjust it..." He shut off the holographic image for a while.
" Data repaired. Reinitiating Personality Matrix, Dr.Koff Ver/00. "
His image reappeared. "Interesting, seems I had your name mixed up with a previous person... someone by the name of 'Randy Koff'.... " He mused, his mouth mimicking a grin.
" I'm sure you know that this is no way for someone to keep "Living". This is only a simulation, an imitation of "life", it won't last forever. That is why you must ask the right questions. " He told him, his virtual face frowning.
" The reason you were allowed to escape so easily, was for me to know something. I wanted to be completely sure that you would be the one to kill me before I became completely devoured by myself, and my pursuit of "science". " He told him, running his fingers through his holographic hair.
" My only plan is to intrust all my research to you. "

Why in the world would Ranulf want Rowdy to know everything? Something was fishy around here and it was no the new scent that had arrived. It was Ranulf, he knew things he wasn't telling. "Why would you want me to kill you and take your science further?" Then he came to think of it, how come he had never seen test subject in the beginning. He didn't have much memory from the first years but he knew he was alone in the start. Now Randy Koff? Rowdy wasn't a stupid guy, he may not be an a class student but here it was easy to put two and two together. "You're saying I would be your relative?" It tore in Rowdy in how he had been played by this man.

Sari's feather 'ears' twitched when she heard a voice, hardly a whisper. There was no point in hanging around, she knew what Ranulf wanted, and the way out of this frozen hole. Turning around, she ran off, beating her wings as best as she could in the cramped passageway.

Kai was still a bit drowsy from the earlier sedative, but he was a bit on edge when the bird girl was coming towards where he was.. most of the so called tests he went through was fighting other experiments.
Though he was sort of preparing to attack the bird girl, he was distracted by the sound of footsteps drawing near in the hall across from him.. the handful of guards paused when they saw him, their own live werewolf..
Kai growled and leapt across the hall, landing on one guard, then clawing biting at the others.

Rowdy was right nobody just let someone kill them without a plan in palce first. She was still in panther form stupid collar as she began to have low growls come from her throat.
