Whoa...
The feeling that hit her when he took her hand was nearly overwhelming. She'd actually thought at first that he might be just a normal human but that thought evaporated the instant they made contact. He was not normal. Not in the least.
Angela laughed slightly to cover up the fact that she was suddenly feeling a bit flustered. She drew her hand away. "I didn't say it mattered. I said it caught my eye. Considering I'm dressed a bit differently as well."
It occurred to her that maybe he'd been brought here from somewhere else as well. That would be interesting, but not so useful for finding out information about this world.

Riddic almost immediately re-pocketed his hand. He noticed she was acting a bit strangely, but shrugged it off. He looked her over once more. "So you are," he mused. Riddic paused for a moment. Perhaps this would be a good time to gather information. Or at least, figure out where he was at the moment. Even if she, as she pointed out, was dressed differently than other people he'd seen around, this Angela might know something that he didn't. "This might, perhaps, sound a bit odd, but do you suppose you could tell me where we are?"

"Ah...I actually don't really...know," Angela said. She gave him a sheepish smile. "I was sort of dropped off without my knowledge and rather against my will if you'd like to know the truth."
She sighed. "But at you at least should have a rather easy time of things. It seems red heads are rather well liked here."

"Oh? So you have no idea what you are supposed to be doing in this sort of place either? What do you mean 'read heads are rather well liked here'? Are they revered or something of that sort?" Riddic really wasn't one to ask a lot of questions, but this just intrigued him. Why would someone else be here against their will? He couldn't fathom any reason beyond his own 'being a good son' and 'doing as Father says'. And, of course, that last question was rather obvious.

Asaiyo stopped in his tracks seeing the weird red headed princey guy Angela was flirting with. "You mean you were transported as well?" Asaiyo butted his way into the conversation. "Well, if that's the case lets go inside and talk. Everyone hearing what we have to say is probably not good, besides it's cold out here."

"I'm not cold," Angela said, without looking at Asaiyo. She kept her eyes on Riddic. "My father and several other occasionally annoying people seem to have developed this habit of throwing me into strange places without telling me why," she explained.
**
"I'm not particularly cold either," Des said but I do agree this might be better left to a private setting. Come on Angela. Stop being so difficult."
**
"I'm here because I want to be," Zhori volunteered from Asaiyo's side. She grinned at Riddic. Another red head. Nice.

Riddic glanced between each of them, before his eyes landed back on Angela. He smiled. "It seems we have something in common then. Father tends to do as such as well."
He himself wasn't particularly cold, as he was used to colder settings, but Riddic shrugged. "If it is not apparent that staying with the lot of you is worth my while, then I would like to take my leave after this little chat. I have a job I came here to do, and I can very well do it without any of you beside me."

"I thought you didn't know what you were supposed to be doing?" Angela asked. "Perhaps your father sent you here for same reason we were sent here. It's rather coincidental that we arrived at the same time, wouldn't you say?"

"He quite clearly said he sent me here for observation. Precisely what I am supposed to observe, is the problem," Riddic sighed. "I do not know how he thinks. He is a rather odd man."

Riddic waved his good hand at him passively. "Fine, fine..." He nodded to Angela and then followed after the others. He supposed it wouldn't hurt.

Angela made a face at Riddic's back.
She was annoyed and wanted to find out where they were. And the others were taking their time with it and Riddic seemed far too passive. And what the hell was with all these red heads!?
She sighed. They wouldn't find out a damn thing without asking someone so she quietly wandered away from them, looking for someone who didn't appear to be insane or annoying.
She spotted a likely candidate--a fairly normal looking blond woman--and went to ask her.
"Excuse me..."

The little blond woman had been walking past, and stopped when a weird looking, short, white haired, strange lady approached her. She shifted her purse to the side of her sea green dress and perked up a bit. "Oh, yes, hello... can i help you?" She looked Angela up and down, what a peculiar person!
Asaiyo quirked an eyebrow, the lady looked very familar... he couldn't place where....

Des facepalmed slightly. "She's about to do something incredibly...obvious. And stupid."
**
"I don't really mean to be a bother," Angela said kindly. "But would you mind telling me where exactly I am? Because I really haven't the faintest idea."
**
Zhori laughed slightly. "That was...direct." She paused for a moment. "You know, she could have just asked me."
((Because I assume Zhori actually would know if she's been there a while. XD))
