The diamond that Discord held gleamed with black aura. With it at hand, Discord gashed the cheek of the would-be assassin, coating the gemstone in her blood. Knowing how fond Alnette was of blood, he the blood-covered diamond in her hands.
"You say the noose is tightening around our necks?" he questioned. "With how I revitalized the Necropolis army, your fool master is resorting to petty sneak attacks, but enough of that. Go tell him of how incompetent he is for relying on inept buffoons such as yourself."

"..." Tarma said nothing, just hastily turning and fleeing before one of them changed her mind. She wasn't thinking how Argalt would react to her failure, though it would no doubt cross her mind in time.

Alnette pouted, just a bit disappointed that Discord had let the assassin leave. Still, she knew he had his reasons.
Of course, after hearing his explanation, she smiled a bit. "Heh, if only I could see it. I bet he'll be furious."

Izual grinned darkly as Alnette spoke of disemboweling the newcomer, and watched with silent eagerness. As long as it wasn't he at the end of the blade, he didn't care so much.

I am curious, do you always automatically assume you have the ability to disembowel someone you haven't met? You biography said nothing about your pride being beyond the border of arrogance." Jericho pulled a bookmark from his pocket and placed it in his book before snapping it closed. "Of course you are correct in assuming you can carry through with your threat against me as my prowess in combat is almost non-existent, so it would be appreciated if you did not attempt it."

With a growl, Alnette stood and lunged at Jericho swiping at him with her dagger.
