NEWS FLASH! NEWS FLASH! Did you hear that the long-feared Senshi terrorist who burns down buildings is now suspected to be a Negaverse agent? News sources are torn, reports are varied, everyone has a theory, but one thing remains clear: some bizarre Negas attacked the police and torched a building last night. NEWS FLASH! NEWS FLASH!Negaversers:It's only after the holiday festivities that you find yourself settling down in your bedroom to relax. While you're resting, something catches you out of the corner of your eye. There's a faint glimmer - are you sure you saw something? Oh wait, there it is again.... what is that purple thing? Tucked away in a place where only you would notice, you find a small purple stone nestled away within a parchment. As you unravel the paper from around the stone, you can't help but notice how elegant the writing is, or the growing feeling of dread at the realization that something had been in your room without you knowing it. The note reads: Note Enclosed is your new communication device. It is your responsibility to keep up with it and can be stored in your subspace, just like your weapon. Using it requires your own energy in your powered up state, so be wise in your decisions. It can do the following: Calls: Once you are in uniform, the communication device can be used to phone to any other officer in uniform. Concentrate on the individual you wish to speak to and, if they are available, you both will be able to speak to one another via the crystal. If your crystal begins to vibrate, it means someone is attempting to call you. As this costs your own energy to use, I advise you to keep your communication brief and limited. This is not a cell phone, you do not get to leave messages and as you can see, there are no number keys so no, there is no texting plan available. GPS: If a powered individual is in the area, your crystal will glow according to any strong energy signature nearby. It will glow dark if a Negaverse agent is nearby, light if a senshi is nearby. The closer you get to the individual, the stronger the glow will grow. You will not be able to identify the individual in question with the crystal; I trust your eyes to do that for you. Youma Summoning: If you find yourself in need of assistance, you can concentrate on the crystal and will for any nearby youma to assist you. Should any low level youma be in your vicinity at the time of your call, they will come to your aid. If there is no youma nearby, then no youma will come. If you are a Captain or a higher ranking officer, your personal youma can also be summoned by use of the crystal. Regardless of your rank, this will consume a great deal of personal energy if you are summoning something other than your personal youma. Aura Marker: Should the need ever arise, you may funnel your energy to send out a surge of power. This will alert all in the area of your presence, so I advise you to use this ability wisely, as it will call attention to your whereabouts immediately. SOS: If for any reason you have found yourself in a situation that requires the attention of a General-King or myself, you may choose to send out a distress signal by use of your phone, alerting your commanding officers of your need for help. The distress beacon will cost you dearly, energy wise, as well as immediately destroy your crystal. The nearby officer, should they choose to, will come to your aid - I do not suggest attempting this unless you are well-prepared to discuss with me as to why you destroyed your crystal and explain how you found yourself in a situation you could not handle on your own. Should the crystal find itself in someone else's possession, it will not work. The crystal is attuned to your personal energy and it is only through exhausting your own energy that the crystal will work. This is a communication device. NEWS FLASH! NEWS FLASH! Demetri Wright, AKA Captain Scheelite, has gone MIA. Outside of the few he contacted, no one knows just where the blonde has run off to. His cellphone lies unanswered, as well as the communicator (that is definitely not a glowstick) reserved for Negaverse officers only. Rumors abound. Traitor? Crazy party kid? Dead? Some say they've spotted him, but for now it remains difficult to find the former hard to miss Captain. Because I'm a dork!
What this? Its seems a lovely red headed woman (Rose Jacobs) and a gorgeous red headed man (Xander Jacobs) have been handing these out ofter school at Meadowview High and Destiny City Community Center. What's more some have appeared in mailboxes and mail slots? Each has a tag attached with the words You're Invited in a beautiful script.
You should probably go find a computer fast! Its seems you gotten a invitation to something and there is only one way to find out what!

You are invited to a Singles Awareness Day party hosted at the Mudville Grille and Theater. There will be good (if mildly fattening) food, movies playing in the theaters, and good company!

He's done this quietly so any who know him may be curious as to why, come the start of classes again, he his mysteriously gone. He is now living on his own so he can more easily hide his alter-ego from family and friends. Sailor Arsinoe is now on the warpath and looking for any and all information on a blond guitar-wielding Negaverse agent (aka Scheelite). NEWS FLASH!! NEWS FLASH!!Friday night in Destiny City had been the most blissfully peaceful one its citizens had seen in months. It was almost too good to be true, and some probably even refused to believe it: everyone had long since gotten used to the fact that you could look out a random window, any window, and probably see something chaotic going on. The strangely-suited terrorists and gangs caused such a constant ruckus that many had been able to tune it out as background noise... so when twilight set over the city and all of that noise failed to happen, the night was almost too quiet. The silence was definitely enjoyable. Or, at least, the first few hours of it were. After that, things started getting implacably stressful for you. There doesn't seem to be any direct cause for your worries -- unless you had gotten some sadistic comfort out of the war going on in your own town and were upset to find it suddenly gone -- but it's enough that, try as you might, you simply could not fall asleep. By the time you finally did, there weren't enough hours left in the night for it to be really worth it. And when you woke up, you couldn't help but wonder if those precious few hours of sleep did you more harm than good. The daybreak leaves you groggy, stressed and possibly a bit cranky. It takes a large amount of effort to even get out of bed and moving around... and strangely enough, the world around you appears to be sympathizing with your pain. Water is stubborn to run in more than a cold trickle out of the faucet, and takes a while before it starts running fast and hot. Your phone keeps insisting that the signal is poor no matter where you go. Even your car takes a couple of extra tries to start, and the birds in the trees around the city and the park are oddly silent. Maybe everyone's just having a bad week. NEWS FLASH!! NEWS FLASH!!

NEWS FLASH! NEWS FLASH!A flyer has appeared on the Destiny City Community Center's bulletin board, as well as at Meadowview High, Crystal Academy and Hillworth Grammar. The flyer has a large picture of a camera with yellow stars surrounding it in a circle. It says: Quote: Ever wanted to be a model? Have clothing that you would like to show the world? Photographer Castille Brenna is looking for fashion designers and models for two photo shoots! ~ Male and Female Models are needed ~ At least one fashion designer is wanted ~ This is a PFP situation; that is Picture for Pay. This means you don't get money, but each model as well as designer will receive digital copies of all of the pictures, and are free to use them as they like. NEWS FLASH! NEWS FLASH!In the beginning of February, it seemed that Destiny City had been hit with a case of the doldrums. Everyone seemed content to stay in their houses, lounging about, and the coffee shops of the city all but tripled their expected revenues for the month. Everyone was exhausted and everyone wanted that punch to wake them in the morning -- an excuse to get up and get going! It even seemed like the days were somehow getting shorter, or when the sun did decide to get out of its own bed, like the sunlight was somehow weaker, or perhaps everything was just a bit darker all on its own? Then towards the end of the second week...strange things started to happen. Monsters weren’t a particularly weird thing to hear about around the city, there was rumored to be a gang assisting the skirted and bowed terrorists who ran around in beastly costumes. But these monsters flew. More than one frightened woman had dashed into Police Central wailing about how she’d been all but carried off in the air and had to beat the thing for her life when it landed. What was odd was that it seemed rather centralized around the square mile near Meadowview! Sure the normal descriptions of monsters were still coming in, but these flying beasts didn’t seem to like to go outside the school district suburbs for their prey. Even stranger was that overnight, all of the grass on the football field withered and died into what looked like...burnt grass? It was very odd indeed. But like all oddities in Destiny City, the police paid little heed. And so, the civilians were falling victim once again.... ---- It seems that what has been happening in Elysion is affecting the rest of the world as well! During the daytime hours and even sometimes at night, strange creatures that fly have been scooping up civilians and taking them..somewhere. There are some things that have been learned about them, however! Powered characters and Barren Pines survivors are unable to “sense” them. They have no power signature, light or dark.
These creatures go after anyone, including Negaverse agents... aren’t the baddies in black normally responsible for monster attacks?
It seems that with a bit of help from a heavy bag, trash can lid, or big rock these monsters can be defeated by a non-powered individual without major injury on the civilian’s part.
You do not need to own a character in the shop to play one of these monsters, so we encourage getting your friends involved. The beast played should die in every RP, however. They’re meant to be defeated. NEWS FLASH! NEWS FLASH!

NEWS FLASH! NEWS FLASH!The coffee business was booming beyond compare. Coffee, energy drinks, the lethargy still wasn't going away. Popular expert opinion was that simply there was a deficit in the town's water supply or simply that everyone needed to take all distractions from their bedrooms. This generation today was too connected, they said! It was all wrong but they didn't know that. Senshi and Negaverse alike were pulled into Elysion upon closing their eyes at night, whether they wanted to go or not. The magic was pulsing and even dragging down innocent souls that had never been exposed to a guardian cat or the corrupting touch of a Negaverse officer. Only those that slept during the hours when the sun was high in the sky were afforded any sort of safe, restful sleep. Things weren't going well for anyone. Especially vulnerable were the college students at Destiny City University in the northern half of the city around Destiny Tower. A strange El Nino had come out of nowhere and along with it came tee shirts and shorts! Even small tremors and earthquakes were being felt...but only around the campus and tower. The rest of the city was still grasped in winter's chill and the bird monsters had not abated. In fact, things were getting worse on that front. Rock monsters were coming out of nowhere -- buildings, construction sites, anywhere that loose stone or stone at all existed. They were even breaking free of the concrete to chase passerby until someone bothered to smash them. Thankfully, though the stone they had come from was solid as anything could be, they tended to shatter brittlely. ---- REMEMBER!
