Maelle pursed her lips to form a sort of pouting scowl as Armand spoke. She was certain he was behind all the strange happenings in the school, and she would be sure to get him back. But for now, she decided to carry on as normal and keep up the façade that she was perfectly fine.

She was going to stay and mingle with the other teachers for a while, but then she remember that she had left her petticoat right outside the door. She thought about using light magic to hide it, since she really wanted to mark potential friends, and who to look out for. But that could always be done at dinner.

And of course, there was the matter of her clothing. She would be sure to change in to something more casual, and far less… easy to ruin. Perhaps she’d change for the dinner, but she wasn’t sure she’d want to risk it.

“Excuse me.” she said as she stood up. She gave Lise a slight bow before taking her leave. After she had shut the door, she picked up her petticoat and began to head back to her dorm.

((We'll just ghost thy's character along for now.

Please don't be offended if Armand doesn't end up responding much to everyone's actions. He tends to annoy people, and does so sometimes by not showing much reaction.))

Armand's so called first orientation was not what the Angle expected, or maybe it was. The only thing they learned were each other's names and nothing about the school.

On the bright side... Ah, forget Armand. More ladies to woo. Estas grinned to himself as she looked at the women. The one in the dress had excused herself quickly. That left the ones named Lisa and mysterious looking Aiva. Well, if anything, the two that he hadn't met were Aiva and Maybelle? He hoped he was getting the names right. Since Maybelle was gone, the obvious choice was Aiva.

He strode over slowly and tipped his hat. "Well, greetings, Lady Aiva. How do you do?"

Aria was also about to follow Maelle out the door when one of the other teachers approached her. At least she thought he was referring to her by the way he said her name. He had, of course, pronounced her name completely wrong. She watched Estas silently as he tipped his hat in greeting to her. Her first thought about him was that he was going to be a little on the irritating side.

"My name is Aria. Not Aiva." Was the first thing she stated. She wanted to make sure he got her name right as she knew that that would probably grate on her nerves the most.

((*sigh* Ok, next poll to be set up... these ties need to not happen. The basement levels have been taken out of the poll.))

The first thing the mysterious dark haired lady said was a statement clarifying her name. I seem to have heard wrong...

"Oh, dear me, my deepest apologies, Lady Aria," Estas said with a bow. Smart move... "Allow me to make it up to you somehow." Perhaps, a hangout or some other sort of quiet romantic setting would be an opportune chance. If he ruined his reputation with Aria so soon, it would probably be one of the fastest ever in his experiences.

Gosh, this guy was persistent, wasn't he? "There's no need for you to make it up to me." Aria soon replied, withholding a small sigh of exacerbation. She then turned to try to go around Estas and toward the door. Why was this man being so familiar with her when they had only known of each others' existence for a small span of time? "Now. If you'll excuse me..."

Lise waved to Maelle and started walking out to, only to hear Estas's attempt at talking to Aria. She stopped short of snickering. Oh, my gods... how did he butcher her name soo much?!!! It was the dreaded womanizer type, or Lise thought anyway.

She had a small grin on her face, which Estas couldn't see because she was in back of him. The grin pretty much said "Idiot."

((Alright, the guild is open for apps for the larger roleplay. So, it will probably end up running concurrently as this one, which is fine because you guys get the advantage of knowing more.))

Oof. Giving me the cold shoulder already? But Estas was in Aria's way, and he didn't move. "Ah, but please, I insist, Lady Aria," the Angle said courteously. No, he couldn't just give up here. Before she left, he had to throw in a line. After all, there were other female ladies present.

((Oof myself. Sorry about the wait.))

((You can just use Aria's profile for the guild Scythe. I don't mind.))

Aria stopped abruptly as Estas remained in her path towards the door. She closed her eyes as if she was sighing in mild exasperation. "Alright then. How do you plan on making it up to me?" Despite my not wanting you to do so. Aria thought after she asked that question of the persistent angel.

((Alright. Hmmm... hope this works.

EDIT: Vote! Yes, we're getting closer...))

Now, unfortunately for Estas, Armand and everyone else was in clear earshot of the exchange between Estas and Aria. For sure, Estas didn't know that Aria was a demon otherwise he would have been a little more careful... especially since Estas was in complete dread when the Angle had found out that Armand was subjecting him to a set of conditions and then, after that, a demon.

As no one had approached him yet, Armand was just calmly listening. But then, he had a sudden thought. "Oh, my. I believe something has come up. We'll have to postpone the dinner until tomorrow night." He stood up and walked out of the room. "I'll see you all there tomorrow. Be good, now." The headmaster said with a smirk.
--------------------------------------

What? Cancelled? Perfect! Estas couldn't possibly pass the opportunity up. He smiled. Luck was on his side. Maybe Armand was too. How rare... "Lady Aria, allow me to give you an exclusive tour of the evening lake. Guaranteed you will not be disappointed. I shall even prepare a meal for us."

------------------------------------
Along the way to his office, the headmaster passed Maelle. "I do believe Estas and Aria need some preposterous supervising." It was a call for the other staff members to sabotage Estas and Aria's "date" if it ever happened. And even so, they might all be in for more than they expected. Yes, all of them, if Aria agreed to the Estas's engagement.

With Estas' offer, Aria was not too excited. The tour would have been fine with her, but a meal as well? She could tell that Estas was trying to set her up for a date with him. Apparently, there wasn't really any choice to back out of this whole deal now. She would just have to play along for the time being. Maybe, once it was over and done with, Estas would leave her alone. "Alright. I shall meet you by the lake at dinner time." Before she agreed, Aria had heard Armand cancel the dinner that had been set for later in the evening. Was the headmaster trying to set her up for awkwardness as well? Damn you, Armand...

And now the Estas who had already been proclaimed a loser by the wall she, Vera, Isaac, and he had encountered was trying to make it up to Aria. Go Aria! The teacher was turning Estas down!

But then Armand had to ruin everything and say that dinner was rescheduled for tomorrow night. "What?"

As he sashayed out the door, Lise frowned. Damn you, Armand... You totally have something up your sleeve. To make it worse, Estas gleefully proposed to Aria, and NOOOOOO ....Aria accepted! Lise had a super bad feeling about Aria accepting the gig. She didn't know why, but she just had a feeling.

"That did not just happen," Lise mumbled, loud enough for Isaac to hear, but hopefully not enough for Aria and Estas to hear.

ISAAC armine Out of everything you could have done...
Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy, like I want to puke... - Isaac, Estas, Aria, Lise, Armand, Maelle, and apparently others.

Isaac had not moved from his seat, though he had changed positions so that he could hear everyone better. "This is ridiculous, I swear I will kill him one of these days." Isaac thought, strictly of Armand. Especially when he announced that dinner was cancelled, though he did not say how they could get it otherwise. Isaac also noted that no one had approached him to tell him anything, so surely something was up.

Apparently he wasn't the only one with that thought. He glanced over at Lise for a moment, "That was no illusion Ms. And it is rather... Disturbing, to say the least." Isaac remarked about Estas' work. Isaac would admit, the man certainly picked out a lady friend rather quickly, either admirable or detestable. Isaac hadn't picked. "He apparently is Armand's favorite at the moment, based on the stunt earlier, and he seems to recover quite quickly as well." Isaac chuckled, referring to the name slip.

(Oh noes! I hit the wrong vote button... Will one person that wanted to vote for the lake and forest hit the button for the upper levels please? You should probably post that you did so if you do, that way not everyone does.)

Maelle was too busy planning out her outfit to notice Armand, and she was startled when Armand spoke. So startled, that she forget to be mad at him, and instead she was just puzzled. “But what about the dinner? And are they going on a date? So soon? And where?” she asked, not considering that she was asking too many questions.

How inappropriate it was to date so loosely! And to do it so publicly, much less to let it reach your superior, was unacceptable. She almost felt obligated to ruin, just to teach them a lesson.

((Noted. 1- Lake/Forest. 2- Upper Levels))

And Estas had scored. Luck was on his side. The Lady Aria had accepted his offer. Estas tipped his hat. "I hope you look forward to it. Any preferences on cuisine?"

--------------

Armand let out a slight laugh at Maelle's questions. They were well founded as she hadn't heard everything that had occurred back in the meeting room. "Orientation dinner had to be rescheduled for tomorrow night due to unforeseen circumstances. And it just happens that shortly after, Estas and Aria agreed to go on a dinner date at the lake this evening. But unfortunately, tonight's food will only be available via Estas's means. So, therefore, ..well..."

The headmaster's eyes twinkled. "I'm sure you get my hint, Maelle."

Simultaneoulsy, inside Lise and Isaac's mind, a voice that sounded eerily similar to Armand's said in a playful tone, "Estas will be the only means of dinner for tonight..."

Aria sighed at Estas' bravado. Great. Just what have I gotten myself into? she thought to herself before giving the angel an answer to his question. "No. No preference." Her face managed to remain expressionless. Perhaps she should make herself scare this evening and not show up to this little outing at all. With that, Aria finally managed to get around Estas and headed for the door. "Now I really must go." she stated simply, opening the door and heading out into the hallway.
