Yea, took me forever to find an affordable black trench that I liked and was relatively close immitation. After that though the rest was cake. Ok so Dib probably doesn't have 3-4 inch heels on his boots, but actually the jeans cover most of it and it actually looks fairly good. Besides whose gunna judge my feet?
I didn't like Carol at first but she grew on me as the series progressed.
Oh I still don't have an account - but yea I'd probably be more liberal in what I saved if I did. Saving for me means bookmarking, so yea, quite a lot of bookmarks I have. I have several folders to split up categories. On my main tab there are favorites, incomplete, and finished but not favorite (stories I don't want to keep quite so permanently but want stored for awhile. I've yet to clean any of it out - it's not that full - but I at least know these are the stories I like less?). Unfinished has folders for Cartoons and TV/Movie...everything else is loose. I have fewer unfinished anime stories (most of which are Fruba actually). My favorites split into folders for each of the series I have a lot of stories from and a folder just for cartoons (b/c really Rocket Power, Evo and IZ are the only cartoons I've read fanfiction for - and within the realm of what I like there isn't a whole lot in any series, especially RP - my favorite series). Haha, that was randomly boring - but yes the point I was a long time in making: I have quite an intricate web of "saved," so I do try and put some thought into what I bookmark.

Lucky me, I already had a black trench coat. XD I found it at a thrift store and got it for $15, and I used it as my winter coat, and still do to this day. So I just used that for the Dib costume as well. Wow, I would go crazy if I had that many bookmarks. XD It feels too unorganized to me, even with all the categories. I prefer to just let the internet store my stuff. Most of my faves are YUU*GI*OU stories though. OMG, I remember Rocket Power. XD Wasn't one of my favorite shows, but I did enjoy it, and strangely enough, it is one of the more common cartoons I still have dreams about. Don't know what Evo or IZ are though.

Yea I did not, could never find one I liked. Didn't quite get a $15 thrift store deal, but it was half price and I do use at as my winter coat now (was wearing it up until 30 minutes ago actually).
I would prefer that too - I mention something further to this effect on the Dreams thread so I'll just leave that tangent here for now.
Sorry for the abbreviations, you know IZ - as you were Dib - haha. IZ = Invader Zim. Evo = Xmen Evolution. Those were (are?!) my 3 favorite cartoons probably, with Rocket Power in first. Actually South Park might be first but I don't always think of it as a cartoon. I'll try to stoop abbreviating things before people realize what I'm talking about, haha.
Mmm...ok well I have to wake up in about 6 hours so I'd better go crash now and respond to threads later. Gnite!

Haha, it's still too hot here to be bring out the coats. XD I'm in shorts and a t-shirt right now. Oh, wow, I actually know what both those shows are! XD Yes, Invader Zim is one of my favorites, probably third or forth for cartoons. Love X-Men Evolution too. Wolverine and the X-Men is also good, but not as good as Evolution. <3 Kurt. My favorite cartoon though is Avatar (unless you don't count it since it's so anime-like, then it would be Ed, Edd n Eddy). Also fond of Teen Titans, Misadventures of Flapjack, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Chowder, Dexter's Lab, Powerpuff Girls, and quite a few others. I don't really watch any TV besides cartoons. ~_~;; Good night!

AHH, KURT IS MY FAVORITE TOO!! *loves the blue fuzzy dude*...haha, he's so awesome. I always meant to watch Wolverine and the X-Men, kinda fill the hole Evo left behind, but never got around to it.
I'd count Avatar (only seen a couple of episodes of that - I know fail - it's on that epic long list of things I REALLY need to see and read) as whatever the speaker wants to count it as. I'd probably say cartoon but I wouldn't bat an eye if someone started talking to me about the "anime" Avatar.
I did really like Dexter's Lab too, I always felt bad for him, what an annoying sister, haha. The sad thing is I'm probably like her too xd .
Weather here is unpredictable, some days coats, other days tank tops. It's rather annoying but at least I work inside. Actually I consider that a bummer except for the whole not really needing to heavily plan the wardrobe thing. My friend went to Tahoe a few weeks ago, and he's still in shorts mode, so that's all he took. It SNOWED!!! Haha...yea he looks ridiculous in pictures on his sled, in the snow wearing a rice picker hat (he's Mexican btw not Asian, but he always steals our chinese friend's cultural trinket in Tahoe - rain or shine or snow ^_~)

Yes, Kurt is so adorable. ^^ Wolverine and the X-Men is pretty good. Doesn't have the awesome character development that X-Men Evolution had, and the art isn't as pretty, but the plot is fresh and interesting. Watch Avatar nao, woman. D< I felt bad for Dexter too. XD Though I'm more like him than Deedee. It's just always hot here. I wear shorts and t-shirts all year around, and the only difference is in winter I put a coat on over the t-shirt. XD That sounds adorable though, those photos.

Haha, yea he is, and yea it is. And good to hear the plot is solid, maybe I'll check it out someday.
I KNOW I FAIL!!! ~_~...everytime I get in the mood and am "going to watch Avatar now," something always comes up. I know, the excuses are attrocious. There is just no forgiveness crying redface .
I am like Dexter in some ways (academically inclined, inquisitive, dedicated), but I think when it comes to me and my brother, in the Deedee/Dexter relationship I am definitely more than Deedee. I'm more social, more optimistic (which is totally saying something because most people find me to be a tad bit negative - alleviated by a strong wash of sarcasm, as opposed to just emo status) and I love to mess with my brother and his stuff. Harder to do with him 400 miles away now though.
They were awesome photos, wish I went but I had to do app related things that weekend - I better get into grad school it's killing my social life and anime/cartoon/manga time.

Yay! Tch, tch, tch. Normally I am a very forgiving person, but with the sheer awesome that is Avatar, it is very difficult to accept excuses in this case. wink The rest of my family is pretty social compared to me. XD I'm definitely the black sheep of the family, and my sister is always bothering me. My half brother and half sisters, not so much, but they're still more social than me, though I think I'm the most optimistic of all of us, even if I don't show it. Good luck with grad school!

*head hung in shame* nor should I be forgiven. I swear I shall make amends for this though, I swear! Before I leave the country!! Haha.
See my family - especially my dad and brother - are cave people. So pretty much if I only chatted online, and maybe about a tenth as much as I did now at that, I'd still be a thousand times more social than they are. Hannible was more social than they are. Although he was actually fairly charming, and restricted association was probably more a byproduct of his alternative lifestyle than his personality... rofl
Anyhow yea, I'm probably the black sheep too...just in an opposite family, haha.
Thanks.

Good girl! Ah, I see. XD I kinda wish my family was more like that; then we would have less social gatherings that I was dragged to.

Haha...in which case you'd probably be like me, jealous of seemingly every other family and their social gatherings, family reunions, holidays with the family, family vacations, etc etc etc. We all want what we can't have, I have a family whose present yet emotionally and physically absent, so I'd take any level of dysfunction just to have something.
I guess we should all be careful what we wish for though.

True. XD But really, my family only really has gatherings for holidays, and birthdays and the like. We don't have reunions because we already all live near each other, and we're too poor to take vacations anymore. XD But yes, always be careful what you wish for. I love and am grateful for my parents and half siblings and nieces and nephews, and one of my aunts and my grandma are okay, but most of my family members I just don't care for...

@Kits - I love my mom. I have strained relationships with my father and brother. That's it. On one half the rest of the family has issues with my dad (and therefore refuses to deal with us) or is just indifferent and we don't talk to for years at a time, and never see. A card at Christmas apparently constitutes an entire relationship. On the other half due to a host of drama and emotional baggage the family has been removed for our own mental health (mostly my mom's). So essentially, as far as I'm concerned, if my mother were to die (knock on wood or whatever you say) I'd have no family whatsoever. That's pretty terrifying and depressing as far as I'm concerned. I really don't think I could handle it, or that I would want to try. Hopefully I won't have to think about that anytime soon though.
@Ghost - haha, yay, Happy Birthday Seto! As for best days though I dunno, Seto doesn't see the type to care too much about such a trivial thing. Maybe he'd care about Mokuba's birthday for him, but his own, not so sure. Yay anyhow!! Hehe.
And no apologies, that was a wonderful and completely on topic contribution smile

@Ghost: Yay, happy birthday Kaiba! <3 Love your tribute.
@JK: That's sad to hear. D: I knocked on wood as well, and am hoping for many happy years to come for your mom. I think this is a good example of how Kaiba would react to his birthday: http://foxysquid.deviantart.com/art/Happy-Birthday-Seto-141463339
