Lee felt her heart sink at his words, though did her best to hide her disappointment from Rory. She should have figured; math and science seemed to match his personality. Besides, she needed practice in that more than anything; she just didn't want Rory to see how terrible at the subjects she was. Taking the history book, she sat it beside her while she waited -- rather, dreaded Rory's return with the books.

Rory held the books up to her. "Which 'un do you wanna study first? I figure, w' can do 'un, an' then gae t'get a bit t' eat." He gave a slightly impish grin, even though he was blushing. "Or w' could make out more, whiche'er you decide."

After a short deliberation, Lee decided neither subject would be easier, and just went with math for Rory's sake, barely nodding toward the math book. Lee peered up at his grin and blushed at his suggestion, but smiled and shook her head in a "you're cute..." sort of way. She'd wait until they were finished to decide between food and kissing cute boys. Although, she had to admit that she wasn't feeling too hungry at the moment.

Rory went over the chapters slowly, helping Lee through some sample problems. He could tell it wasn't a strong subject for her, but figured in the long run it would be a trade off. She could help him with his weak subject and he'd help her with hers.
After working through the chapters till Lee was caught up, Rory put the paper they'd been solving math problems on in the book and stood up, setting the book on the bed. He stretched a bit, t-shirt pulling taut over his chest, the barest hint of his muscles showing underneath the thin fabric, then he looked back at her, giving a little shrug. "So, what d'you wanna do? Gae get somethin' t' eat?" He gave a small half-smile somewhere between shy and charming. "Or did you hae other ideas?"

Studying was quite tiring; Lee's mind easily wandered as Rory attempted to teach her everything she needed to know. She barely got the basics down, though, and felt a small bit of accomplishment after she was caught up. Math was out of the way.
Oh right, she needed to pick now. Watching Rory stretch, her face reddened as she noticed his muscles barely show through his shirt. She was sure he'd done that on purpose. But there was no way Lee could say to him "let's make out," and instead found herself standing and walking toward the boy, a faint smile on her lips before she draped her arms around his shoulders and pressed her lips against his.

Words weren't needed for that answer, no. Rory made a soft noise almost like a purr and pulled Lee snug against his body, kissing her back. He had a feeling this girl was going to be trouble and, somehow, he didn't mind in the least. One hand trailed up her back to tangle in her hair while his other hand slid down to rest on her backside. His experience with girls was rather, well, limited, but he more than made up for it in instinct.

Lee kissed the boy passionately, her fingers inching through his hair once more. As for where Rory's hand had fallen... she didn't know whether or not he'd been looking for some kind of reaction from her, but she gave him none, simply because she'd hardly noticed. It was something she'd normally have gotten very flustered about, and yet she hadn't even felt compelled to pull away for a second. Was it Rory or did she just really enjoy kissing? Either way, even after kissing the boy for a long while, she showed no signs of letting up.

Rory moved, tripped, and tumbled to the bed, pulling Lee with him. He landed on his back, holding the girl to his chest, and laughed. "Sorry, lass. Donnae think I'll be winnin' any dance contests, soon. You alreet?"

Lee's eyes shot open as they started to tumble, but she quickly shut them tight to prepare for impact. As Rory began to laugh, she peered up at him, a smile slowly tugging at her lips before she, too, laughed along with him. "I'm fine. You're dangerous, though. No more kissing standing up." She let her forehead rest on his chest for a second before pulling herself off the boy and plopping next to him on the bed. "Maybe we should get something to eat..." She didn't want to get carried away, and it seemed possible she would if she stayed in here with him.

"Aye, would be a good idea," the boy agreed, looking at her. He really wanted to kiss her again, but that might lead to other things that he wasn't sure he was ready for yet. A break wouldn't be a bad idea at all. He sat up and stretched a little again. "Want me t' cook somethin' or you wanna gae walkin' an' get somethin' at a vendor's?"

Lee's eyes widened and she smiled up at the boy. "I wanna try your cooking. Or would that be too much work?" She remembered him mentioning he cooked, and was eager to see if he was as good as she imagined he was.

"Nae trouble at all," Rory drawled out, getting up. "Pretty sure I hae enough t' make a meal fae two." He went to the mini-fridge and started looking through it to see what he had in the way of something to cook to impress Lee.

Pulling her legs up on the bed, Lee sat back and lounged as Rory searched his fridge. "Whaddya know how to make?" Not that it mattered, she was just curious. Anything he made, she'd eat it, especially considering it might be didikai food.

"Thought about a nice couple o' steaks. You like venison?" Rory asked, looking back at her. "I need t' run an' get some veggies t' gae wi' 'em while they marinate. You can stay an' look o'er th' books more, though." He stood up and started preparing a marinade for the meat.

Lee smiled to herself. Steaks... yum. "Sure, I guess." Truth was, she'd never heard of "venison", and figured that it had something to do with the marinating process. Sitting up, Lee nodded to the boy, sighing a bit before she picked the history book back up and set it in her lap, flipping to the page they'd been on before. Even history seemed dull now.
She preferred kissing over studying.
