Roku only looked at her and smiled. "Thank you..." He paused for a moment. "You know...I think I'm starting to learn a lesson here. It is alright to morn for the dead, but don't let it stop you from living your life." He looked at Ara smiling again. How he wanted to ask her the question he had been dieing to ask her. Would she accept it? "And you know what...I think I am finally over all my past issues and problems with my old family....thanks to you..." He looked down nervously while pawing the ground. "So...thank you."
(Would you mind if I made him propose to her? I'm tired of drawing it out and beating around the bush.)

Ara gave him a bright smile. "You are very welcome. I am glad to help, even if it is in a round about was and I wasn't even trying to do so. You make me happy to say that." Ara blushed, realizing that she was rambling.

Roku looked down at the ground then back up at Ara with a blush of his own before having it fade. He took a deep breath. "So in general terms...would you mind living with me...being together all of the time till death do us part?"
(Alright...sorry for his corny way of asking.)

Ara blushed, surprised but pleased with his words. "I would like that. I would like that a lot." she murmured and licked his cheek. "If you can put up with me and my ways, that is. I am not exactly the easiest fox to get along with. Though I try."

Roku had on his usual smile before having it fade to a smirk of mischief. "Oh come on now." He pawed at her playfully. "You don't seem that difficult to me."

Ara giggled and pawed back at him. "I can be, just ask my brothers." She nudged him then said, "Tag, you are it." And with that she took off into the woods, starting a game of chase.

Roku smirked as he watched her attempts at playing tag. "Alright...I'll take your word for it." He lunged down to the ground before darting after her. She definitely was fast for a vixen, but he was thinking about having her be in the lead for a while before he would catch her just because he wanted to have some fun.

Ara knew he was pacing himself, so was careful to not run all out and wear herself out. She knew it would be quite easy to do. Soon she slowed down, letting him inch his way closer, planning on making a dash for it when he came close.

Roku sighed before shaking his head. He ran right up to her hind flanks and struck her before making a fast turn and darting off the other way at full speed. He definitely wanted to test her speed.

Ara laughed as she swerved a quick circle and started running after him, slowly getting closer to him each second. She had to grudgingly admit that he was fast as she started reaching her max speeds and pushing herself fasted, beginning to pant as she neared him.

Roku for a second wanted to be a joker and completely made a huge stop on her since he wanted her to catch him.

Ara was forced to come to a complete stop, and sat there panting for a few seconds before she tapped him with her paw. "You are fast, faster than my brothers, that is for sure." she mumbled as she tried to catch her breath.

Ara giggled. "That is okay. My brother Celtic looks nothing like me, but then again, I was adopted into the family. He is black with strange markings on his head. He is the closest to me. I set him up on a blind date a while ago, and he's become friends with the girl which was nice. He is always there when you need him though. And Minuit, my mother for all intents and purposes, is pure black with glowing eyes. She really startles people, especially her mate Kenan when he is around. He is really shy. They just had a new litter too and those kits growing quickly. Celtic also has two brothers his age as well, so its quite a large family, not including the other fox families that live at the mansion also."

Roku blinked a bit surprised. "Oh...so you were adopted." He almost wanted to ask her if she knew who her parents were before then, but decided not to for fear of being rude. "Is the girl going to become his love interest?" He found himself more interested in the fact that another couple could form even though as he said that he wondered if that was asking too much in itself.
