Cassus looked to Ocelot and nodded.

"I am a man lost in time. But you may call me Lord Cassus, or Cassus. Oddly enough people just began calling me lord, I never wanted the title per say. Welcome Ocelot, do not worry about missions and the like, take this day to explore the mansion, and maybe see one of the servant girls. Oh, and keep an eye on this one if you would like, but see that she isn't harmed."Cassus disappeared though it was evident that he was all around.

((I am going to sleep now, I'm pretty tired.))

Shay grabbed at the girl, only to find her gone. the last thing she saw was the large blue eyes sparking with temper, then the wall behind her. something snapped inside her and she turned, for the first time in her life feeling honost fury. her green eyes were liquid emralds, a dark promise in her voice. " you p***k, if she is so much as scratched youll have hell to pay. you hear me? ill make your life so horrible youll have to kill me to shut me up, and so help me ill use every skill i have to make you hurt." the odd thing was, she could do it. as a healer she never used the darker talents of her family.. but it didnt mean they werent there. she had just never been tempted to cross the line. she flicked a glance at the other man, slightly shocked she had reacted so violently. shakeing her head she held up a hand, her eyes closeing as she focused on breathing. " im sorry, but wait.. i dont want to snap at you too."

Tempest rubbed her eyes, trying to adjust to the sudden change. she felt a sharp pain and growled, swatting Snicket. he chattered quickly and she nodded, starting off to find her brothers. " i know.. we'll need help." with that thought in mind, she was gone.

" Shay De La Vonti" she murmered, leaning back against the wall as she rubbed her temples. she was still worried about Tempest.. but pushed the thought aside. she would be ok, and she would find her brothers. " i am just a little off right now.." Shay attempted to smile, but didnt quite manage it. " being kidnaped by a wolf thing will do that to you.. why are you here?"

Cassus reappeared with a book and seemed to be reading it intently even as he spoke.

"I don't know why you felt in necessary to yell in my domain Miss Shay. I simply expelled the child from my mansion, I would not hurt a child. I simply sent the brat out side the gate never to return in the mansion. I can imagine there will be rescue attempts, but when they happen, tell them to leave because you may think you have power out there in your little world. But this isn't your world, this is my world. So long as anyone is in this mansion they are mine. I'm afraid you'll find that your darker abilities won't work here, though I doubt you'd have the expertise to use them. They are so untrained, so base. Were you to give in to your power it would be very strong indeed."Cassus then began to walk, still reading, up the wall of the room and on to the ceiling. As he said, this was his realm after all.

Cassus continued walking across the ceiling and although he didn't raise his head from the book it was if he could see everything around him regardless.

"My dear, it is never wise to say that no matter who you are talking to. It's as if you want to be tortured, broken, and then made to serve me. But honestly I don't think you understand the situation, I don't want you to serve me, I don't care if you live or die so long as I get Quin or Reks because both are equally tied to eachother."

Cassus chuckled slightly and sighed.

"Oh dear, it appears I have been defeated. I should let you go immediately because I kept you around without knowing your connections with the thieves clan or with Quin. Don't be a fool darling, it isn't becoming of you. Regardless of your feelings towards them, you are a part of the clan, and that little friend of yours will bring them right to me. I may allow you to negociate for their lives later, but first you have to be a good girl and hold your tongue when angry in the future."Cassus looked up from his book and then appeared right next to her, his yellow eyes staring at her so she could see the charred skin beneath the mask.

" i fail to see the point. good or bad, ill end up the same." she didnt appear shocked at his skin, but it was clear she was holding herself still. her first instinct was to offer and heal his skin, and it was hard not to. the woman Zoey distracted her, and the sight on the mirror had her going rigid. " Tempest.. and Reks? oh hell.."

Tempest huffed in irritation, her arms folding across her chest in aggitation. " Im not an idiot, Reks. treat me like a child, i dont care, but damn it Shay is in there!" with a growl she felt Snicket stiffen on her shoulder, petting him soothingly. " i dont want to leave her without help, and i cant get in.. this place is messed warped."

Cassus began to laugh, it wasn't like before however. This was distorted beyond belief, it was the laugh of a man so close to acheiving his goals. He seemed to be singing with glee as his voice rang out even to the gates.

"Why listen? This man is stopping you from bringing back your father. After all, I have the power to do it, you can be with your wonderous father again Reks. We can all be together again. Please, enter."The gate opened and all the undead guarding it seemed to vanish and the sun came out showing a beautiful mansion to replace the horrid one.
