"Humph..." Raka turned slightly and crossed his arms, but as their Sensei revealed the true purpose of their mission his cross face became one of grim concern...
Raka went silent in that moment upon hearing the details of their assignment...indeed there was much at stake now. He had been hearing all the rumors surging throughout the village about this group called the Tengu, and from what he could gather from them this groups intentions were anything but peaceful...
"So...this Tengu group were the ones to eliminate the original team four I gather?" Raka asked as he placed his hand on the side of the massive wolf standing beside him, "Cause if so...from what I recall Team 4 were no slouches. And if these Tengu guys were able to take them out what makes the Lady Hokage think that a couple of kids fresh outta the Academy and one Jounin can do? I mean, I'm all for optimism and everything but this training you have planned better be some groundbreaking stuff otherwise I'll admit, we are all going die if we aren't extraordinarily cautious..."
Raka looked down at the ground and then at Odama..."Hmm...Sensei...if I may...I would like to request that you give us three days of preparation either before, or after your training is over and we leave for our mission. If we are facing enemies as dangerous as the Tengu, I'd like to have an opportunity to explore something that I have been trying to develope that could be of great asset to the success of this mission."
Raka couldn't reveal the particulars of his planned training, but his plan to develope his family Kekke Genkai, the Inushikuyaku, at least to the point where he would be able to access the second level of power, the Wolf Armor would mean a dramatic change for his capability in both combat and tracking. The center discipline for the Inushikuyaku training was unity with one's Nin-ken partner. Raka estimated that if he and Odama trained together for three days in unification techniques, that he would be able to access the Inushikuyaku at a much greater level. This of course would only be possible if their Sensei allowed it...

"I'll do my best Raka... but the situation may or may not rush us into deployment. The eliminated team was VERY proficient- however they don't have something that we do. At their expense we learned that their appearance is not totally random. Three out of five reports we have gathered have a common theme. It seems that in three of the cases there had been someone asleep presently. I don't know what that means, but we are going to assume that this intelligence is valuable. The first part of our training will teach you how to act without sleep." She explained before pausing. Her demeanor was serious and unflinching.
"Our next will be reconnaissance based. So long as we are immune to sleep we should be Tengu free if the intel is good. However, we will also need to avoid people who are sleeping. A difficult task to be sure... but it may be redeeming in the end."

Raka chuckled at the notion of learning to go without sleep as he leaned against Odama and smiled, "Heh...that's not a problem for Odama and me," he said as he adjusted his headband, "He and I are both natural night owls, it takes me forever to get to sleep and I almost never see Odama sleep unless he's had a big meal or something. So what kind of training is this going to be anyway?"
Raka was curious about the kind of training required to go without sleep. Having always been naturally adept to staying up for for hours or even days if needed without sleep and still be able to perform efficently.

She gave a wicked smile.
"O... something you will hate. Something you will have nightmares from..." She promised. "Don't think about days... think about never sleeping again... never wanting to... never needing to..." She warned, "Never being able to."

Raka's face became serious as a wry smirk curled his lips and he flashed a sharp smile as he got a wild look deep within his eyes, "Well then....what are we waiting for?"

Raka looked to his partner, "Well...waddya think boy? You want to give it a shot?" Raka asked as he patted Odama on the side.
The large wolf shifted excitedly in place as he barked and nodded slighty.
"Well that settles it...if he's game then I am," Raka said as he crossed his arms, "I'm an Inuhima afterall...we will go to any lengths for the success of the mission."

'Its going to be hard to try not to sleep but as long as I get to aleast sit and relax, then its fine with me, I'm up to it as well' Ashi said grabbing his things and thinking about these Tengu ninja's.

Raka sighed as he turned to look at his more dimwitted companion, "I really think it's going to be a little more complicated than just that Ashi..." Raka said as he looked at him and sighed, "But yeah...let's just get this started..."

She signed a long, heavy breath as she closed her eyes. They were about to have their brains scrambled for reports only 3/5th verified.
"That's not..." She started like a lecturing mom but knew it was futile. Her eyes opened.
"Looks... it may be disorienting...but just try to hold with it..."
Slowly her features shifted, turning masculine, flowing like water between the two states. Her height shortened slightly and her jawline rounded. A brief moment later and a very confused medical ninja was standing in front of the two genin.
For a moment he staggered back but then regained his composure. Coughing into his hand he momentarily closed his eyes.
"Please... excuse me..." He asked with great bedside manor. As she had melted into the medical ninja the scent had changed almost instantly. No further scent of her own was in the area. The only other thing of note was small tag with a seal on it sat on the ninja's right shoulder. It had obviously been pinned their recently and in a great hurry- hardly a permanent fixture.

Raka stared at this amaized at her sudden transformation as he examined her walking around and sniffing a little, "Incredible...a complete transfiguration technique?" he examined the tag and sniffed a little more curiously, "Hmm...or perhaps something more...."

"Exactly how she does it... I'm unsure. But she is called "Suuhai the Body Thief" by her enemies I've heard." The medical ninja says as if he were reading a report from a medical log. "I can only report that she and I switch places and I believe it has something to do with the seal she placed on me earlier."
A few moments later the medical ninja had finished fishing around in his pouch. "Not many ninja have survived this... and I can't even imagine why the Hokage ordered me to attempt it on you guys... are you ok with this?"

"Hmm...so a space-time ninjutsu...incredible," he said as he stepped back having examined the seal, "Well of course...I never back down from something I've promised to do. Let's get this over with..."
Raka clenched his fists and swallowed hard as he prepared himself for what lay before him...

Ashi was suprised to here about a space-time ninjutsu and wondered if they were going to learn that. 'This is starting to become a little more interesting, so lets get started already' Ashi said getting a little unpatience.
