Zareen quickly felt guilty for what she had said since it upset the other. "O-oh.. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you upset if I did. I should just keep that to myself... It's the way the world is anyway. I suppose things are like that for a reason...?" Zareen's ears folded down and she hung her head. "I'm sorry..." She said in a quiet voice

Dance looked surprised at Zareen. "What? Oh no, no... Don't be sorry... We all have our views, our way of seeing things. You have the right to your opinions and views on life. I just... Sometimes being a conscientious individual is too much to bear, and you have to pick... what you focus on."

Zareen picked her head up a bit, but she still felt very guilty. Here she was making such a nice new friend and was only making her feel bad... "Ah that's true. No arguing that but still... I should of been a bit more sensitive."

Dance smiled at her. "Relax, 'Ree... It's ok... We have our own things we handle well. It's ok!" She gave her new friend a gentle nuzzle.

Zareen smiled gently at this. Such a nice friend she had made. She really was lucky. "Thank you, Dance..." She returned the nuzzle to her new friend.

Dance looked pleased to see her friend relaxed, then turned her head, catching a glint of eyes under a tree. "Mmmm we have a raccoon it seems..." She nodded, as some light hit it, showing the little fluffball.

Zareen peaked over to see the said creature. She smiled at the sight of the fluffball. "Oh, I wonder what its doing under there... Sleeping maybe...?" She said quietly. She didn't want to spook it away.

"They're nocturnal, so he or she's probably trying to find something to eat... They eat all kinds of things. Sometimes they even fish, people think they're washing the food, but they're not."

"Oh wow...." Zareen looked at the small creature a tiny bit closer. "I always wondered about those strange looking markings around their eyes. It makes it look kind of silly..."

"Mmm? Oh the mask? I think it helps it blend in... Not sure though!" She nodded and kept on moving. "I don't bother them much, though. They can be mean, biting and scratching."

Zareen stepped away after hearing this, now a bit nervous. She didn't want to disturb the creature... especially if it might do that to her! "O-oh... And it looks so harmless..." She said quietly and began to follow her new friend again.

"Yeah they do, but... looks can be deceiving... Ah well! They're still clever." She nods and continues on, glancing up as the stars as a break in trees makes it possible to see them.

"Ah..." She looked around for a moment, wondering somewhat if there were any other creatures lurking nearby. "Oh do you think were close to our destination?" She asked, a bit curious. They had been walking for a while. However, Zareen didn't mind. She was in no hurry.

"We're getting close, yes indeed!" Dance nodded her head, happily, her tail flickering to swat some night insects that got too close.

Zareen smiled. "That's good to hear. I'm excited to see..." she said with a nod. Her ears folded down a little as she noticed the growing number of bugs however. They could be pretty bothersome to the unicorn at times.
