The tall fae shrugged, letting the female know that's exactly what he had in mind. An adventure, no matter how unexciting, was an adventure! He finished off his second plate, and went looking for thirds as soon as his arms were free.
"You know I eat like this because my sister, while I love her to death, is going to poison me. I don't eat anything she makes. At all."
Ah, twinnies. The good and the bad, and Aidan was the good despite his efforts to clean Oni out of food. He just was lazy, truth be told. Sleeping, fishing, nothing really exciting to do an too lazy in the sun to cook for himself or go looking for his sister.
"But we'll make sure to stop by town and make those fliers. Though this little one could do far worse then in end up in Auntie's hands."

Azzurra nodded. "That's certainly true, but if there is anyone looking for her, we should help them find her."
She continued watching him eat, amazed at how much he was packing away. "If you're really worried your sister would poison you, you could always wait until she'd had some first. Or do you just like using that as an excuse to visit Oni?" she asked with a smile.

"A little bit of A, a little bit of B to be honest. I like visiting Oni, she's a sweet breath of fresh air. A reminder that there are some honest, good faes out there."
He sounded like he was just slightly bitter for a moment. He offered Azzura a smile, and thought that an explanation would be the best.
"I'm half of a twin set. My twin sister is as bad as any baddie you could ever meet, but family is family. I love her as much as she gets on my nerves."

Azzurra nodded in understanding. "I don't have any siblings; I always kind of wondered what it was like. I don't have much in the way of family, for that matter. It sounds like yours is really big, from what you and Oni have said."

Aidan grinned. Yes, the family was rather large. He lifted an eyebrow at Oni, who just nodded. There was a good explanation of this, of course.
"Well, to be honest, it all starts with Oni and her two brothers. Oni, Hyde, and Fez were adopted into the same family. You can tell of course, Oni's purple, Hyde's red, and Fez was green. Oni had Ashitaka, Fez had Waka, and Hyde had his two brats, Rahz and her brother. Anywho, Waka found a mate, and had Savvy. Then Oni and Kokoro broke up, Waka and Hope broke up. Waka's now mated to a draekat... but Savvy mated into a already growing family, taking on four kids all in one swoop and adding two of his own. I'm adopted into this, distance somehow, but made close by Oni. So yeah, a pretty big family. I think Rahz got mated to a baddie, and had two kids of her own. Rennie and her brother, and Rennie's got a mate already too."
He rocked his head back and laughed. It was a very large family indeed.
"Well, there's always more room. You could always be adopted in too."

(( xp I'd actually considered suggesting that Oni could adopt Azzurra, if she's so lonely, although better not if we're gonna pair her with Aidan.))
The young fae blushed. "Oh, that's not really necessary... I mean, not that it would be a bad thing, I..." She shook her head, giving up rather than keep stumbling over her words. "I'd love to keep coming by, though, that is, if you don't mind, Oni."

((It wouldn't matter, Oni's someone who mothers everyone! 8D So even if she's with Aidan, Oni'll be the mother figure. xD Trust me! ))
Aidan laughed again, winking at Azzura. She was pretty when she blushed. It was a rather large family, with lots of fae having more babies, and more babies, and more babies. Aidan didn't know how it could all happen, but thus was nature?
"Don't worry, you're already close to Oni. Means you're pretty much in anyways, because she's the head of the entire thing. The god father of the entire operation."
He stood up, gathering dishes to help clean up.
Oni spoke up with a smile. She wasn't going to let such a nice fae just slip through her fingers. Not while Oni could help it!
"Well, Azzura, you're are more than welcome to come over whenever you'd like dear. No matter what time of day or night, and if you ever need anything, you just let me know. What Aidan says is true. We have a big family, and should you need help with anything, we have family members that can do it."

She smiled gratefully at Oni. "Thank you so much. It sounds wonderful to have such a large family." With that she stood, handing the infant to Oni and joining Aidan in cleaning up the dishes and putting everything away.

Oni took the baby, letting the two young ones take ahold of the dishes. She was soon cooing at the darling and rocking her in the chair.
Aidan started washing, and with Azzura's help the things were soon clean. It was about time to head out, starting getting dark and all that jazz. He walked over to Oni, kissed the older fae on the check and nodded to the door.
"I'll see you sometime later this week alright Auntie?"
He opened the door for Azzura, ready for their little side adventure!

The young female gave Oni a quick hug, and then picked up the sketched poster design. "Thank you very much for the delicious dinner. I should have copies of these by tomorrow afternoon, or the next day at the latest. I'll come by once I have them, and we can go out to put them all up." She headed towards the door, waving to Oni as she headed out.
Once outside, she confidently picked the path that headed towards the forest. She'd never taken that path in the dark before, but with Aidan beside her she felt more than safe enough.

It was the time between the sunset and nightfall; twilight. Aidan walked beside Azzura with all the confidence of a knight. He felt safe in these woods, knew them well. But he offered the female a smile and started the conversation.
"So, how'd you meet Auntie Oni?"

"I was out taking a walk, and she came up asking if I had seen her son. I hadn't, but offered to help her look for him. While we were looking, she found the little one, and we took her back to Oni's home to take care of her, and plan how to find her family."
She was walking a little closer to Aidan than she would have otherwise. As much as she felt safe here, with him, the woods at night did make her a little nervous.

He nodded, it seemed normal enough. He personally had met Oni one day, pounding on her door because he was hungry and soaking wet in the rain and rather lost. But that was a story for another time. Aidan grinned, keeping close to the fae.
"Ah, well Oni has this habit of picking up everyone everywhere. She's sweet, and very motherly. I hope she finds a mate and continues her family, as she's rather lonely with everyone moving out of the house."

"Yes, I noticed," Azzurra replied with a laugh. "And she does seem very lonely. She mentioned that she lost her first mate, that he just disappeared... hopefully she'll find someone else. And I can certainly come by to visit regularly. Especially if she has handsome young men like you around regularly." She gave him a saucy grin.

Oh ho! So this one had a little bite to her as well, eh? Aidan grinned, looking down on her with one eyebrow raised. If she was going to go ahead and start the flirting... well, he could be game for that.
"Yes well, I suppose there are plenty to choose from in this wild family of ours. Oni's best friend Rapture just had a handsome young man hit adulthood named Jimothy. There's Savvy's son Tin, though I'm pretty sure he swings the other way... Rennie's baddie brother if you like the bad boys."
His eyes were dancing and playful, poking fun at her little tease. Truth be told, he was attracted to Azzurra. If anything, she reminded him of his Auntie Oni... only younger and sweeter, and not as over bearingly motherly? But all the right traits were there!
