"Well really I've only been a doctor for a few years but my schooling is not actually complete yet. But in a few years I will be able to join a private practice or a teaching hospital as an attending."Damian then turned to Riley and smiled as if this was a stimulating question he enjoyed answering.
"Actually, no. Since a vampire is dead the immune system is no longer functioning as that is a human part. When the subject becomes human for some reason that is the last thing to manifest itself. Whether that's by scientific design or mother nature I am not sure. However, on the subject of vampire immune systems, I realize there are some vampire illnesses, though few in number most are fatal and this is because vampires lack said immune system. An interesting fact to be sure."

"You are welcome to be the doctor here until my brother says otherwise." Phantom looked over at Riley and bowed her head in respect. "Hunting for more info I see, or you wouldn't be here."

" but if a creature, say human, injects themselves then allows a vampire to feed off of them.. wouldnt it cure the vampire unwillingly?" her red gaze flicked to Phantom and she pouted cutely, a trick that made her look like a young teen. " and for once.. no. im here so i wont get sucked into Psyc's lycan gas in the Mainland town. he is testing his lycan conversion theory, and whipped a pack of wolves into a frenzy in the streets.. i dont want my wolf free down there. " lord knows.. with how potent Psyc's stuff was, Riley would have a pack of new breeders by the end of the night. a slight smile curved her mouth and she winked at Phantom, saying amused. " i am much better off here, where Psyc's tests wont affect me."

Damian chuckled for a moment as this thought was amusing to a man of his knowledge on the matter.
"I'm sure from your point of view it would but there are many variables to consider. For one, you would have to get a human to drink it and the elixer tastes horrible, or so I've been told. Second, the elixer does not enter the veins of a human but rather the blood around the organs with the heart being first. Once the mixture reaches the heart and the heart is not vamparic the cure will simply enter the waste cycle in a matter of minutes. The third variable is that the solution has adverse effects on humans. If one were to do this it would be near suicide. Trust me when I say that any method you can think of has already been done and hasn't worked. The only way of involuntarily turning a vampire human would be to shoot them with a dart filled with the cure. The cure would have to be perfectly balanced and shot in the exact location, or at least that's what my research indicated."After this long winded explanation Damian thanked Phantom for letting him stay and turned to Riley.
"My name Is Damian Richards, you'll have to excuse me I think we may have someone in need of my help. If you require my assistance I shall be here in the clinic."Damian rushed off to a person who seemed to be bleeding and in a few moments their cries of pain seemed to die down.

Damian emerged a few minutes later covered head to toe in blood. He seemed rather flustered and as he reached the two ladies he felt he needed to explain.
"A particularily fat vampire complained of intense stomach pain which I thought was absurd seeing as though vampires don't actually require food and the stomach shouldn't have any nerve receptors in it. Unfortunately for me the pain was caused by an immense amount of blood that had begun to store itself there after he gorged himself on what I assume was fifteen humans worth of blood in one night. When I pressed down on his stomach, he threw up blood. So this goes to show ladies, even vampires should eat in moderation."With a dignified turn Damian walked from the clinic and into the bathroom where he changed his clothes. After a few more minutes and audible curses of disgust, Damian returned and sat down in a chair near the two women.

though she studied Phantom, she spoke to both of them. " im actuly late.. an appointment, shall i come back around.. blankish?" her voice was once again cheerful, as if the sight of blood somehow amused her. leaping from the stair rail she disappeared around the door, giveing a last parting wave as she left.

Ika winced, leaning against the building as she held a hand to her hip. she had been hit with the idiots knife, a last desprate attempt yet still scored a hit. it wasnt deep.. but with the sun comeing up it would hurt like hell. forceing herself to her feet she slid into a doorway, ganceing around the medical area with a quiet study. tugging her mask off she let it fall around her neck, her breathing strong but irregular as she sank to the floor. the window was open, and her skin started to itch and turn red when she tried to approach the opposite hall.. so she curled back against the closed door, her eyes closeing. like kabi said.. if it was raining soup, id have a fork..

Damian heard some shouting about a vampire down stairs and rushed down. He saw the vampire in the sunlight and he immediately pulled her out of it.
"Dear god, are all of you idiots, vampires do not do well in sunlight. I am very sorry about all this, what seems to be the trouble. Oh I see, your hip."Damian put his hand upon her leg and it began to glow. He was focusing very intently upon it and when he lifted his hand the wound was clotted and scabbed over. He called for a nurse and told her to grab something. When she came back Damian took a vial from her and looked back at the vampire.
"I'm sorry I didn't have time for an indroduction before but I do now. I am Damian Richards, how very nice to meet you. Drink this please, it will help repair the sunlight damage."Damian handed her the vial and smiled.

thrown off balance she obeyed, tossing the vial back instinctivly. her skin itched but started healing, leting her sigh in relief. " im Kilika.. Ika for short." as she spoke she had inched a little farther from the sunlight, hideing a wince as she looked back at the golden rays. " thank you.. Damian."

Damian smiled and helped her up.
"Well Ika, that solution should have you feeling normal in just a few minutes. You are welcome to stay here until the sun goes down or leave, we have no requirements."

( sorry for the pause, found a cool pic to add to Ika's profile.)
She nodded, settleing against the wall for a moment in thought. finaly she looked up, asking politely. " may i barrow a garment..? my cloaths are bloody, i need to clean them." Asa would throw a fit if she returned in bloody garments.. the jackal was overly protective, and his temper strong. she couldnt leave.. not yet. she hadnt fed, and it took a very deep feeding to stand against sunlight.

"Oh, then see one of the nurses and I'm sure they can get you some clothing. Also, should you need it there is some blood that we offer to all vampires, again you should see the nurse about that."Damian smiled and walked back into his office right next to the clinic.

she nodded in thanks, heading towards the closest heart beat. the blood she would have to do without.. Lamia's could only drink from the source, bagged blood had little or no effect for them.. but the cloathing was needed.
half an hour later she sat curled up on a chair near the clinic, her dark hair hideing her half asleep state. her battle gear was drying on a line in the wash room, and she felt odd without it on. she was dressed in a simple pale yellow robe.. but it was better than nothing. snuggeing deeper into her chair she sent a mental call to Asa, warning she would be back the fallowing night.

Damian sat at his desk writing with several books open next to him. One was closed and the title suggested that it was about cures for rare Lycan diseases.

Rushing to the clinic, Xerxes appeared virtually out of thin air itself. As he came into the clinic itself, his silent footfalls, and seemingly effortless movements, he was by Kilika's side in moments. Sitting in a chair beside her, he observed the surroundings, making sure no immediate threat was posed. As soon as he was satisfied, he turned to her, and smiled gently, his mouth the only visible thing beneath his cloak. "How are you, sister Kalika? Asa sent me to help you home. You look no better for wear and tear. Is all well child?"
