Kaiten is right in every single aspect he has stated.
Ogres are very dim witted beasts.
Your captor is a caster (unknown variety) of extreme power.
Out of the group, only the druid and cleric are capable of wearing helmets.
As for the throwing weapons for the monk... eh... I think it will be a situational thing, like you can throw stuff, just not "weapon" weapons. I hate to throw this example out here but a great point is the mage spell "Stoneskin", it absorbs several physical hits depending on the power of the wizard. Chucking tons of debris at the target is an extremely effective way of wearing down that defense.

Note to self- remeber that thrown things do that to stoneskin. But I don't have that spell so I don't have to worry. I should have gotten the spell to dispell defenses... Ahh but the past is past. Soon to blast things! smile

rolleyes waiting for one person is so fun. Hey if anyone sees our ranger online could they remind him that joining an RP that they have no intention of following up on is really really rude?

I sent Asuka_Layne a PM reminding her of the RP status.
If she does not respond within the next few days, I will puppet her character until either A: The group escapes the starter dungeon Or B: She dies.

Mhm. We won't wait long. I cannot stand it when a story grinds to a halt over one player. She's got until tomorrow night.
EDIT: Oh, and just kill the damn sleeping ogre already lol. It's an ogre. Not the Shrek kind of ogre, its the ogre that will beat your brains out if it wakes up again.

Dealt with, at first I hoped I mis-read "ogre" and it was an orc we might have been able to interrogate for information and then tie up to be punished by his master, but tying an ogre up with scraps of leather is the equivalent of twine.
Could our thief please attempt to inspect the room ahead by cracking the door or listening in or something?

Alright, her time's up.
If she comes back while we are still in the starter dungeon, I will release my control to her, if not, she'll be replaced.

oof tough call guys, do we help kill the ogres who would probably be the toughest opponents in 1 on 1 combat or do we try to help kill the swarm of goblins? Or just make a break while they're fighting?
We don't know which is on our captor's side :/

I posted my idea. I think goblins would be much much easier. They usually are in all the games and books and what not.
