User ImageMia frowned and glared into his eyes. "The breaking in isn't the heroic part. It's killing the maggots that sell s**t that kill over millions of people a year," she explained, trying not to lose her cool. Mia had strong opinions on what she did in her heroic life, and when someone didn't exactly see eye to eye with her and decide to speak out against it, she typically went off on a rant, but now wasn't the time.

"And the dirty work is my guilty pleasure. I love the feeling of my sword sinking into flesh, so I'll do it. Watch a woman at work," she smirked as she moved her face away from the door and touched the wall to her left.

He's in here, she mused, moving her ear to the wall. And as always, is doin' a little somethin' somethin' with his secretary. With that thought, she grabbed a heavy looking object in the corner of the room, walked back for a running start, and used her speed to ram into the wall.

"Dirty b*****d!"
she shouted as she broke through the wall and threw the object at the dumbfounded secretary. It knocked the woman down to the ground and caused her to pass out, exactly what Mia wanted. "Heh, now it's time to have a little fun," she chuckled as she drew her sword from here sheath and held it at her side with the point grazing the ground.

Plague watched only slightly interested in what Mia was doing. He was watching her, yes, but not what she was doing. The screams of the tobacco executive rang in his ears, causing him to grin, "How delectable. A murdering superhero." he chuckled, "You're better than these maggots, right? Better than all of them?" it was a trick question. If she said yes, he would point out that would include being better than humans and if she said no, that would mean she had killed for nothing.

User ImageMia stopped her slow walk to the cowering and fat C.E.O to look over her shoulder coldly at Plague. "Of course I'm better than this piece of garbage, but it won't matter soon," she replied in a robotic tone. It was as if her whole facade had changed when her sword was drawn; as if she was a villain like Plague, but it didn't matter to her. As long as she was killing those that killed others, she could consider herself a hero.

Mia quit her pondering and swiveled her head back to the C.E.O, giving him a devilish smirk with a c**k of her head. "Are you scared?" She disappeared and reappeared behind the man. She grazed her lips over the man's ear as she whispered softly, "Don't be. It'll all be over soon." She kissed the skin beneath his ear before stabbing him through the chair into his back. The man wasn't dead yet, causing a smile to grace her lips. "Oops, let's try once more," she yanked her sword out of his back and slit his throat, giggling in delight. "An other down..."

Plague clapped a few times, "Well done, I got the feeling you were crazy." he chuckled and moved the mask off his face so he could use facial expressions. He smiled at her, "A shame you don't think like me. You really better than humans." he said. Plague stared at her and stayed silent for a moment, "Do you hate me?" he asked simply. Plague wanted know, he always preferred to know when somebody hated him.

User ImageMia looked up at him through her long lashes as she cleaned the blood off of her blade with the dead man's shirt. "That's random," she stated, feeling herself return to her normal self. "I don't really hate anyone except for these suckers right here," she kicked the chair that the man was sitting in. "I mean, I know we're supposed to be enemies and all, but I think you can tell that I'm not like a traditional hero, or anything. I leave all of that cliche crap up to the comic books." Mia smiled into her clean blade before placing it back in her sheath. "And besides," she continued, "You're not a bad dude, apart from the killing humans thing."

Plague shrugged, "I just like to know when people hate me. It makes it easier to kill them if they get in my way." he explained, looking at her carefully, "I never thanked you for that comment you gave me, when you left my home. So thank you, and you are very god looking as well." Plague said, looking down slightly so she wouldn't notice his slight blush.

User ImageMia raised her thin eyebrow, trying to remember what he was talking about. "Oh, that. Yeah, no problem, I speak the truth, though. That mask is pretty gross," she stated as she stood with her hands on her hips and her head cocked to the side. She couldn't help but notice how they were casually talking in a room with a dead guy, as if nothing had happened. She shrugged slightly smiling at Plague's compliment.

"Well thanks for that. I bet it's because I'm not really wearing anything, but that's the way I roll," Mia smiled, suddenly wondering how young this boy was. I'll figure it out later I guess, she mused when she heard knocking on the door.

"Mr. Reyes, you're meeting is in two minutes. Are you okay?"
Mia heard through the door, causing her to move into the other room.

"You better follow me, otherwise this whole building will freak... unless you want to kill all of them. I won't stay for that, though," she rambled as she ducked through the hole that she made and stood with her back to the broken window.

A man dressed in all black just left the large jewelry store, a watch the size of a briefcase in his hand. But the oddest thing was, he was walking out of the store, but no one else was moving. Not even the police outside with their guns pointed at the door.
"The wonderful part of being Rolex is." The man said, and the watches two hands popped out to form blades, "The Timepiece's marvelous uses." He added, and the blades snapped down on a police car. No visible damage could be seen at first, and as the man walked away, time resumed itself, and the car fell apart, sliced clean in half by the blades. The man chuckled a little to himself as he then raced away.

Bobby decided to go for a run down to the business district. There were always nice things to steal there, things he could pawn for actual money. He never stole more than he needed, mind you, but the higher-ups that walked the streets had so much they wouldn't miss. It seemed that the rest of the world moved in slow motion as he ran. Most people didn't notice him, and those that did only saw a blur out of the corner of their eyes. Then, he was gone.
He had to admit, though, the feel of the wind in his hair was exhilarating. It made him wonder why he'd never embraced his powers before. Thinking back on his old life, he remembered.
He reached the mostly deserted streets of the business district and sat on a bench, much to the suprise of the nearby sidewalk sweeper. It seemed to him that a young man had just appeared out of thin air! Bobby waved to the man, smirking. It appeared he was stopped outside of the Camel building.
This should prove interesting, He thought. There were always all kinds of activists outisde the cigarette companies, always trying to get the sale of cigarettes to stop in one way or another. And, one way or another, it was always entertaining.

Dark Matter sat alone atop one of those corprate skyscrapers. "Hmm." she sigh, watching over the people below as if a child attending a school trip to the local zoo. The city buzz was to much for her. She transformed into cat form, and leaped off the scraper, into a dark alley way where her eyes shone green. "what shall i do tonight?"

The man in all black decided to take an alternate route from his normal way home. He walked through a back alley, a large black cat passing him as he walked on. He payed it no mind. He needed to get back to his penthouse apartment. It was his sort of, sanctuary.

Kikyo spotted a figure trying to run off, and she brought her left arm up slowly. A hand reached out of the ground, and grasped Alex's ankle. Another appeared next to it, ready to grab her ankle if the other arm were to fail. Kikyo sped up, trying to get to Alex before she disappeared possibly forever.

Alex stopped as she felt the grab on her ankle, but not fast enough. She (sorta) tripped and landed face-first in the grass, feeling her nose sting as the blood began to run from it. Her bag went flying from her, and she looked up to it, reaching as if trying to catch it as it spun through the air and landed at the base of a tree. Thankfully, she didn't have anything fragile in there, but her nose hurt now. And that pissed her off.

Alex turned her head to glare at the girl as she tried to wrench her ankle free from the dead hand. Her blue eyes had shaded to a purple color, the color they became when she used magic. A skeleton pulled itself from the grave next to her. Alex winced:it still had bits of decomposing flesh hanging off of it. But she had no time to be picky. She pointed to the hand holding her ankle, and it walked over and reached down, grabbing both hands and pulling aimlessly.

Alex facepalmed. If she'd had her notebook, she would have jotted down something like 'Skeletons:very strong, dumb as lampposts' so that she'd remember not to use them again. Unfortunately, her notebook was in her bag, which was nestled by a tree, looking very comfortable where it was, thank you very much. She wiped away the blood under her nose and got to an almost-standing position. "What do you want?" she called to the girl in a not-very-happy tone as she dismissed the skeleton, who returned to it's hole in the ground. What was it with people and grabbing her today? She stood her ground like a toughie, even though she wanted to grab her bag and run. She was kinda trapped, anyway, with one of her ankles in a strong grip. "Stupid dead." She mumbled.

Kikyo stopped about five feet away from Alex.
"Who are, and where am I?" she asked her, not even noticing how mad Alex was. She wanted information, and she was going to get it from this girl, even if she had to torture it out of her. She waved her hand and a zombie pulled itself form a grave. It stood behind Alex, ready to stop her, as the hands let go of her feet.

Alex raised an eye at the girl's question. She could feel the zombies presence and knew, from personal experience, that however stupid and slow zombies were, if it got it's hands on her(and since it was so close, it might), it could easily tear her to pieces. The hint of anger didn't disappear, but the answer was slightly more polite. "I haven't any idea who you are, but I'm Alex, and you're in the Zeffrian Cemetery. Now if you'll excuse me, I'd like to get out of the rain." She glared at the girl, then turned to see the zombie standing interestingly close to her. She slowly sidestepped it and went towards her bag under the shelter of the tree.

The zombie followed Alex and stood right behind her the whole time. Kikyo took a few steps forward.
"And where is this "Zeffrian Cemetary"?" she asked her, as she started to look more like a frightened kid than someone out for murder.
