Myia blinked when he looked away. 'Aw.' She sighed. "Oh, thank you." She smiled as her order was set in-front of her. She paid the waiter and took a sip of her drink. "Hello." She said with a smile. "Would you please join me?" She asked as she set her book down. "It would be better then staring, which I must say is very rude. Specially, sense you are not speaking with me."

Scott wasn’t sure if she was talking to him again, so he looked at her again. It seemed this time that she was, and actually meant it. Last time she spoke, it was to no one, so he wanted to make sure. He looked around to see if it could be anyone else, but nothing was behind him. He nodded politely and stood up. He carried the chair easily to her table and set it down. Before sitting down, “Hello miss, I am Scott. I would be pleased to join you. Thank you.”
He sat down calmly, but wasn’t sure what to do next. He decided to allow her the chance to introduce herself, if she so pleased. He was a little nervous. She was possibly the first person he spoke to in years, other than acknowledgement or simple communications to his family.

Myia laughed lightly under her breath at his actions when she talked to him. She took a sip of her drink again and then pushed it aside. A bright smile crossed her face. "Nice to meet you Scott." She was a little shocked when he said 'thank you', no in her family except for the much older members would say it. "Wow, someone actual knows how to say 'thank you'." She said aloud even though she didn't want to do it.
Myia calmed herself a little bit. "I am Myia." She took a bite of her food and swallowed before she spoke. "I saw you were looking at my book." She looked at him avoiding eye contact. "Can you read Latin?" She asked glancing at the old book and then back at Scott.

Shadow now wanted to look into her eyes, now that he had been invited to her table. He made sure that his fangs were not visible when he spoke. “I was wondering what its about. Latin is a language I know.” He didn’t mention the sticker or being able to read such small font from that distance. He spoke softly and gently. He remained outwardly calm, even though he was nervous.
[[I keep trying to pronounce your name, but I’m having a hard time picturing it. ^_^* and I don’t actually know Latin ^_^* I tried searching the meaning of the two word in the title, My connection wasn’t good enough.]]

[ Wow. I missed a lot. xp ] [Way to go guys!! xd ]
Edouard frowned when she said that she was 'serving customers, washing and cleaning'. He got a little hint from her pause that she was trying to think of a way to make her job look interesting. When she sighed, he couldn't help but think of a way to make her smile again.
"Me?" He paused also. He had never heard of a 'Model'. He knew what actors were though, they were the ones who played characters in an opera or a play. He looked at his clothes then at hers and instantly, an idea popped into his head.
"Hmmm...I am currently not involved in any duties. But perhaps..." He looked around the cafe, only a few people were serving the customers and Kitty was alone at the cashier, "Perhaps I can 'work' here." The word 'work' had a hard time going out of his mouth.
He found it unusual. He never did work. Well, he never did it for a girl.
Elliot got flustered when Xi looked him in the eye. He didn't expect that such a beautiful girl lived without servants. He also couldn't believe that she lived alone.
"Uhhmm..." He was already stuttering and his hands were trembling as he pushed his glasses back, "Fine..." He sighed as he grabbed a plastic bag and began placing different fish inside it.
"I thought that you were some...rich...high-class...p-p-power hungry...girl..." He bit his lower lip and braced himself as he continued, "But yeah, I'm sorry. I judged you too soon."
He finished getting all of the fish he wanted and he decided to look at her, "If you want...I can make it up to you in a way..."

[[lol. no worries. Myia~ MYE-ah. Aw it's okay. It means Broken Stone. Here I found a site that helps me correct my spelling when I was learning it. It drives me nuts when I don't spell right XD . Maybe it will help you translate as well. Here ]] Myia tilted her head. "Really? Not many people would know it." She took a drink. "It is almost forgotten." She sighed sadly. She had listen to many stories from her great grandparents and grandparents that she wonder what had happened to the world sense then. "You know some thing." She leaned forward. "You're eyes are beautiful."

Amon walked into the shop. He went over to the bar and took a seat. He glanced around at the humans and his brothers and his sisters. They all seemed to be enjoying themselves. His shook his head at the clothing some of the humans wear. 'How can they wear such things?' He thought.

Her compliment caught him off guard. He must have put his sunglasses away subconsciously when he entered. He had been given contacts by his mother to hide his eyes. They made his eyes a flaming green color. His true color was like that of a flame, not just red like many vampires.
He nodded to her first question then thanked her again, “Thank you miss. Would it be cliché if I told you that your eyes were gorgeous and your cheek bone seems to define your beautiful face?” He spoke calmly and softly still. He was surprised with himself. He wasn’t sure where the courage to say what was on his mind had come from. He spoke the truth. He didn’t share with her that he wore contacts, it was not time. She would ask him to share his true eyes with her, which he could not at that time.
[[Thank you. If my connection works, I will use that if I must. Or, if you don’t mind, I will act as though I know it ^_~]]

Myia smirked then frowned. "I think it would be and thank you. Wait a minute..." She stood up and looked him directly in the eye. Her mind went blank for a bit. 'What the... this feeling.' She shook her head and sat down. 'That was close.' She started to grin wildly. "I almost was caught by you." She said in a very low voice. "Are you from around here? I have never seen you before?" She asked.

Scott was a little confused by what she meant. “I’m not sure I understand. I wasn’t trying to ‘catch’ you. I am from around here, but I don’t get out much.” He remained vague, hoping she wouldn’t notice. He suddenly realized that he still had to find a place to stay for the night. I don’t think mother would be too pleased if I ended up staying in the cave tonight. How close are we to lunch? Maybe I can get away somehow to go find myself a place to stay. He wasn’t sure how he would get a chance to do that without being rude.

Myia glaced at Scott. "You heard me say that?" She blinked. "I said that so low I could barely hear it myself..." She nodded her head. "Oh, okay." She sat back in her chair. Her thoughts began to trail off as she started to eat. 'Okay so far what hey said is true, but I am missing one thing...' She looked at Scott and tilted her head. 'What am I missing?' She sighed.

Kitty giggled. She thought of what her boss would say if he noticed someone helping her.
She hated her boss, he was strict and hated everyone. "I think my boss would have a problem with that. He'd have to pay you, and he's a cheap skate." she giggled, looking around to check that he wasn't listening.
She sighed, "This is probably my last day here anyway. My boss is thiking about firing me because of my age, but I keep being late, so he has even more reason."
She pulled a mag over to her and filled it with cappacino. "You want anyother drink?" She said, takeing his glass. "If you really want a job here, I guess i'm an opening." She smiled at him, putting her coffee of the counter again.

Scott felt bad for hearing words he wasn’t supposed to be able to hear. “I’m sorry miss for listening to you so closely.” He looked down for a moment then raised his eyes back up to her face. He saw her sort of zone out, so he felt it a good moment to think as well. Have I messed up? I have been focusing so much on not messing up that I haven’t been paying attention to my surroundings. Why am I acting so differently with this woman?

Myia looked around the room trying to remember what she was missing. Then it clicked. 'How will I find that out?' She finished her food and placed her fork down. "Oh. No worries. It is okay." She smiled and then took a drink of her water. "How long have you lived here?" She asked trying to keep some kind of conversation going.

Xi giggled at his interpretation of her and mused quietly to herself. I guess I used to be like that in Japan, but through the years I've grown independent! she pondered as she wrapped her arm around Elliot's free arm.
"It's fine," she smiled up at him, "I usually get that a lot... if people come up to talk to me that is, but if you'd like to make it up to me, I'm interested in hearing how." Xi glanced away from Elliot momentarily to stare at a man that was staring back at her. Go away, she willed him silently, giving him a cold glare to scare him off. It worked, and when he finally left, she turned her gaze back up to Elliot, a warm smile painting her lips.
