Elruda sweatdropped at the story. "You got a shady past, Marcus-jiji." But instantly a veinpop formed and taking the side of the Kage's cheek in her reach, pulling, she stretched it. "Not a chibi!" Now that she had a better look at the roller coaster...

"It...doesn't look very safe." Shinratsu commented wearily.

Elruda beamed down at the weary boy from Marcus's shoulder. "Don't worry!" She reassured cheerfully. "If I fall, mum goes after Marcus-jiji with a very sharp sword!" Sure enough...

"You're NOT!" Roared an angry woman not too far off. "Taida Marcus - you're not taking my daughter on that...on that! Dangerous thing!!" As the group would turn, sure enough, it was the Hyuuga head of family...cursing slightly at the deterrment of her yukata (her clansmen forcing her to wear it) yet all the same having run halfway through the village as soon as she saw her precious daughter being taking away...in THAT direction...with her Byakugan! Her clothing was slightly rumpled from the frantic rush and her hair in disarray...but the sharp glare did not change, nor did any of such affect her physical beauty.

"Young lady! You're coming home with me!" Marching up to Marcus, she struggled to remove her little girl...who apparently took to immediately wrapping her arms around Marcus' head like an octopus. "Hyuuga Elruda!!"

"Elda-hime..." Piped up Shinratsu as-matter-of-factedly, finishing his squid. "One of these days, you're going to give Yokou-dono a heart attack."

She wasn't listening. "NUUUUUUU! I wanna go on 'the Ninja'! Mum, you're mean!!!"

Shadow smirked as a new face began to wander into the crowd. He kicked the box with one foot onto his knee and played with it a little more as the Hyuga woman rushed past him. He almost commented on how her daughter was a brat however he held his tongue, he had a feeling that this was one of the people he couldn't afford to be rude to. As she spoke he kicked the box up and took another step back out of getting grabbed range. He wondered if they were getting on the coaster, and she was trying to get her kid back... Divide that by Marcus being a trouble maker... However before he could even give this more thought the boy spoke. A light shined in his eye and he smiled cheerfully, he hadn't passed his exam yet! And now was the opportune time to strike! He kicked the box up and caught it under his arm, standing close to the group confidently again. He grinned confidently with an evil smile saying in an almost mocking manner:

I being the oldest Genin here I can assure that we're a group of hooligan misfits that she is not fit to be with! However should she come on the ride and get hurt, i give you full permission to beat the crap out of him. He then pointed to Katagi happily. He knew that it wasn't exactly normal for someone his age to be a Genin, and he was more insulting himself, however once again Shadow didn't care since he knew his reasons.

"Thanks for correcting me that I'm not the oldest Genin here." Katagi would respond back to the konoha shinobi, as a quick come back from the insult Shadow tried to throw at him. "But she really wants to go on this ride and seeing how this kind of thing only comes once per year, I think it would be okay for her to come onto the ride." Trying to convince a mother with some one making it harder for him to persuade Elruda's mother. "Obviously a rank doesn't mean anything...only to have higher benefits than the lower ranks." Katagi would say to Raisuke as he turned his head. "From what you said, I doubt you ever heard of the Hokage Uzumaki Naruto. Being one of the strongest of his village was nothing but a genin rank at his early ninja life....Would you say some one like him is too weak to be a chuunin?" Katagi shook his head as he continued. "I'm not comparing some one to as strong as that, but I could be a Chuunin if I wasn't lazy enough for my lack of training and had a squad to be in."

Shadow kept his eyes squinted and continued to remain with a happy look on his face. He sort of expected that kind of insult from before he even spoke. He dropped the box again and started kicking it around with his feet some more, normally he would be worried that he would break it if it was fragile, however he knew he was graceful enough that it could have even been an egg and it wouldn't have broke. Shadow looked at Rai examining him up and down. He wasn't sure how much he liked the idea of a third sassy child given him lip. Maybe it was time to stop being an a**? Maybe give it a few more minutes, children were fun.

Nonsense! I'm not weak or old! I prefer to be called seasoned! He said this in a quite silly manner without breaking his smile. In response to Katagi he just said Anytime, i remember when i was little i would always forget the simple stuff to! He was obviously joking to get under his skin. He then kicked the box to his knee and bounced it back to his ankle. He remembered this girl from the city and luckily didn't need to be acquainted. No Yokou-san, you're being a good mother. This ride is very dangerous, and while something like this may come once a year, your life is a one time thing! I don't think it would be okay at all if she came with us group of delinquents! In all honesty he didn't think it was that big of a deal whether she came on the ride or not, however Shadow was still a little miffed at the stuck up nature of the princess and the rashness of the boy who came in. The new snide kid hadn't done anything to anger him yet... Other than be generally sarcastic, but hey a little sarcasm spiced things up!

Katagi would look over to Shizuka and smile. "We're not fighting, we're just having a conversation." The last thing he would want is to upset any one else in this group. "Naruto was a Hokage of the hidden leaf village, my dads father traveled and wrote about the villages history....At least as much as they would be willing to offer without getting into too much of their own private history." Katagi said simply not getting into it that much to prevent another debate. "That may be true but a teams leader could possibly give them a higher ranked mission if their kage allows it. On that note, there's a huge difference between an over exaggerated goal and a real one that could be possibly done..."

Shizuka's eyes started to water, she didn't mean to confuse those around her with her nicknames! She never even knew leaf shinobis were offended by being called a badger! "I...I'm sorry!" She apollogized with a quick bow to Shadow, all though she didn't have the same strong smell sense as he did which was due to it being part of the canine branch of her clan, she was unable to see any familiarities between them. She would use her sleeve to wipe the tears from her eyes as she explained further. "Katagi is Badger-san...Raisuke is Lightning-kun..." She said as she pointed to ones with the nicknames. "Who are you anyway? I've never seen you around here,nyaa!"

"Shadow...shadow..." Shizuka said quietly to herself as she tried to think of a nickname for Shadow. "Unaru(growl)-sama!" Shizuka called out happily giving Shadow a new name. "Chuunin exams? Why would you take them here in Iwagakure? Why not in your own village?" She didn't mean to make it sound rude but it was weird that they would choose her village for a test.

Raisuke could feel a little bit of hostility in the air between Shadow and Shizuka. He took a little bit or precaution and stepped over a few steps so that he was half standing imbetween Shizuka and Shadow. He wanted to make sure that the growl didn't become something physical. "A seasoned mongrel.." Raisuke kind of mumbled under his breath because he didn't like how Shadow had growled at Shizuka. Raisuke would then turn his sights to Kitagi, then back to Shizuka. "Hello Shizuka. I'm not trying to start a fight, just trying to fight my own boredom." He laughed a little for a second with that same smile. "You know how I am. And Katagi was it? Exaggerated or not, everything is just words until accomplished.. or atleast that is my view on life.." He shrugged, he knew what he thought and was not easily persuaded.
