Ivy blushed, "Yeah. Mal, my eldest has a few children with children of their own and so has Aspen. Alicia doesn't, as she's yet to find a mate." Ivy nodded and took a seat. "Are you worried?" She didn't want him to worry about her family she was sure they would all be ok with this...after time.

"I'll deal." He rubbed the back of his neck slightly before sitting down on the couch beside Ivy. "I never was the best with large crowds. Odd to think about when I have such a large family."
The female smoothly stood before walking over to a small shelf which had been carved out of the cave wall. She took out three wooden bowls and a saucer. Walking carefully back to the salad, Dyas poured the contents of the saucer ontop of the green food as a salad dressing, made from natural oils found in plants with a dash of honey. Then proceeded to shuffle the salad into the three bowls.

"Well, how about we go in small doses? Like this?" This was a small meeting and it was so nice. She would get to learn a lot about Dyas and no one else would really interrupt them. "Maybe you could meet Alicia first, since she has no family."

"I could do this." He flashed a bit of a grateful smile at Ivy. Large crowds hammered away the little outgoing nature he had.
There. Done. She turned and handed one bowl to ivy and one bowl to her father. Thus, she sat with her own bowl to pick at it with her hands.
"we recently broke our forks...They have to be constantly replaced since made from wood."

"Really, how did that happen?" Was the wood not strong enough to beat the wear and tear of eating? "I could persuade some trees to grow fork shaped branches and see if they might last longer?" She offered as she nibbled on the salad with her fingers.

"The end of it always breaks, simply naturally after the wear and tear of spit and teeth." He shrugged, picking up a piece of lettuce and plopping it in his mouth.
The female nodded, eating herself. Even with her hands, it was delicious.

"Well, ok, if you don't me too." The trees could make pretty strong replacements if Ivy talked to them and worked her power. She simply shrugged and took a few more bites. "This is really good."
