[Hollow point] jesus. well my friend listened to real heavy metal bands then started listening to slipknot and said they were the greatest metal band ever. So you just cant tell. I finally got him to realize they are nu-metal. *gives you a medal* Good work! 3nodding

thats dumb s**t, no offense since they are you feriends, but I hate preps or neone for thatmatter that do s**t like that... OMG im soo hard core i listen to MCR thats heavy s**t!... ::rolls eyes:: I have herd heavy s**t, I love it, heavy s**t is were its hard to mak out the damn words, bec ause there screaming so loud!.. s**t that you can mosh till your brains come out of your skull! awsome s**t, not this gay s**t that has came out....and i think its funny how they all say there hard core... whatever... people just bug me..

Hatsu Bah, I myself also hate it when people say this band are so metal, or that band is so metal . . when they clearly aren't. My brother even went as far as saying, "I like Simple Plan because they're metal." I smashed his face against the wall. 3nodding I wish I could meet this person to tell them that SIMPLE PLAN COULD NOT BE MORE UNLIKE METAL.

unfrtunatley I often get the sub genres of metal confused.(I don't know what classifies as power of folk metal)
And occasionaly classify a band that is Nu-metal as metal(but usualy if I am not sure I do research, unlike my friggin cousin)
I even have classed some metal bands as Nu-metal(Opeth I am looking at you. as a matter of fact no I am not because in my book you are still Nu-metal!)
but this is too rediculous what you're brother said.
that's like saying that that guy from Aerosmith is a better guitarist than Zakk Wylde. you need to stay at least in the same main genra to compair these things. such as Hammer Fall is better than Exodus.
