It was interesting if a bit unsettling for Eli who was never really sure what to expect next from her. " I'd like to see her happy though" he wasn't certain he ever really had, content yes, proud, certainly but happy..? He didn't know.

" If you wish, but you asked for it" Uzi focused for a moment summoned her strength and burst forward even faster the combat type willing to push her speed to it's ultimate limits to test herself. She had something to prove here to this older one, this essentic that had managed to grow into alter form. The world was a blur and yet Uzi maintained balance, kept the ability to avoid obstacles that dared get in her way. There was nothing, she thought, that could outrun her now, nothing in the world.

Eli laughed at both Zia and Fao" I guess you're right." Honestly those two were something else, people like Eli had never really encountered before, it was refreshing.

" Maybe, work doesn't leave a lot of time for traveling to socialize." That and Eli had never done well with sort of compromising and being tactful that was required when around most others. It was the reason he was celibate and spent most of his time alone.

" I see" he didn't really but he didn't begrudge the other man his relationship either, those sorts of things just weren't for him. His green yes watched Uzi in the distance performing sharp turns and leaps as if trying to make the other essentic fall off. She was probably the only unrelated female he'd ever live with.

Uzi slowed a little, making a less dramatic turn and began to lope at a comfortable pace back towards the adults. " You were not Imposing" Uzi assured Zia. To be honest the other's company and the recent play had been quite exhilarating and enjoyable. It did not exceed the thrill of the hunt but it satisfied the essentic in another way she could not explain.
