Jenannen Mor Righ Anu: I'm sorry to hear about your sugars!
Yeah, I had the same kinda thing. When I had my daughter I went in for an induction. They used a ripening agent (because I was still just a 1+ dilation) and they were going to start me on pit in the morning. Well during the night I was showing contracitons on the monitor that I didn't feel. No one really said much about it though. My daughter was born at 7:48am. No pit for me thankfully!
I hope that all goes well for you! Thanks.

Mor Righ Anu Just to let you guys know, I won't be on for a while. My water broke . sweatdrop So Umm later peoples Wow! How exciting! Feel free to make a "New Arrival" thread of some sort and let us know how things went!
On that note. I'm not sure how things will go for me. I've been having some problems with cramping and contractions, and I just have this feeling that the baby's not goint to wait it out utnil 40 weeks, though I'm hoping she'll wait at LEAST another 4. If I can't post I'll try to get Hubby (SirKirbance) to keep pepole updated on how things go/are going.

Wow! I never would have thought that something as simple as vaccuming would lead to so much trouble!
I was vaccuming the floor last night, and after I finished I sat down and I kinda started to hurt. It felt like cramps at first and I figured I'd put my feet up and I'd be okay. Well about an hour and a half later (of continual pain) I was still not okay. I thought, okay, let's try a warm soak in the tub... that didn't help, I took some tylenol (BIG deal for me), still not feeling better. An hour and a half later my OB's office finally opened. I had Hubby call up and leave a message for the nurse. About an hour and a half later the call was returned. Sounds like a pulled muscle she told me, but also told me to get to L&D for a non-stress test to make sure that the baby was okay, and to make sure that the placenta didn't seperate or anything like that.
I was there for like 6 hours! They did the non-stress test. Despite the fact that I was perfectly capable of getting up and using the bathroom the nurse decided to use a catheter to take a urine sample scream (which came back normal). They did a vaginal exam and I'm not dialated or effaced, and the baby's still high. They finally siad that what I'd described was "consistant with a pulled muscle" gave me some pain pills and sent me home. *sigh* It was a very long day!
Moral of the story vaccuming can (and in my case does) cause trouble when you're preggers.

I'm taking my free time right now to tell you all that Lillian was born on Monday, March 6th at 755pm. They began inducement at 730am that day. I had a lot of problems that day. She was twisting inside of me and such and then had her first bowel movement inside of me. They broke my water and she still wasn't coming down. As soon as they put me on my side she came down so fast that her had was half way out . They drugged me pretty bad. I think they gave me to much. I didn't know what was going on. But I found out later that she had the cord wraped around her neck three times and that htey were preparing me for surgry. Because i was bleeding too much and i wasn't stopping. But The Goddess was there for me and that stoped. * takes a deep breathe* I also found out that the plasenta was soo twisted when it came out and the cord had bubbles. .. But we are all home now and everything is fine now. Yay!
*sighs* I must be going now. I wish all others luck with their pregnancies and hope they all have good babies. ^^ I will be posting a pic of her as soon as I get them back.

Wow! That was quite the ordeal! eek Im glad you and baby came out of it ok though! Im kinda confused though, you said you were going to the hospital because your water broke then they broke it at the hospital? Thats possible? o.0 And the placenta can twist, bubbles can be in the placenta? eek WOW so much can go wrong that I didnt know about! No wonder this is so dangerous for mothers! surprised
But thank goodness you are safe. 3nodding Congrats biggrin

Thanks. I'm glad that things are okay with the baby too. 3nodding The other thing I forgot to mention about my day in L&D was that I was actually registering contractions (that I wasn't feeling) and they woulnd't let me go home until those slowed down so they gave me a shot of something. rolleyes It was a crazy day and it reminded me what I have to "look forward to" before too long.
Mor Righ Anu: I'm sorry to hear about all the trouble with your delivery, but I'm glad to hear that you and the baby are both safe, and that you're both home now. Congrats!

I was having the same problem with the contractions that i wasn't feeling. Don't worry about it to much. I was told that our utres actually has been contracting from the start of the pregnancy and that the machine registers them, but that doesn't nessacerly mean we are in labor. The real ones are what we should worry about. But i wish you luck.

My water broke and I didnt know it! surprised I had taken a bath while in labor to make sure I was actually IN labor and as far as we can guess it broke while I was in the bath, but I didnt feel a thing. I didnt leak after or anything. I just know the doctor went to break it at the hospital and it already was! eek
