Iris
So Llia left and I'm allowed to RP Iris to help further family plot. I will
only RP her to help further said plot, and I will do my level best to keep her in character.
That being said, the Nomads plot is very deeply tied to Iris and Enfys. I've talked to elfy and she's decided that in light of the situation, she wants to find a new mate for Enfys.
One way to handle this, plot and RP-wise, is that we stick to the following time line:
-Enfys snaps
-Frightened, Iris flees north. The herd follows and they settle in the crescent mountains.
-Depressed and frightened by the loss of her mate, one day Iris just wanders off.
-Enfys shows up, to find his beloved mate gone.
I can RP this in such a way that Iris stays nearby, but continues to avoid Enfys because she can't shake the memory of what he became. This plot has several advantages:
-It has a reason for Iris and Enfys to separate.
-Family members (besides Enfys) can still run in to Iris.
-It's highly similar to the old plot, which has already been started.
-It minimizes the amount of RP I have to do. Iris isn't mine, she's Llia's, and I'm going to strictly adhere to the family plot only guideline. This means that I am willing to RP for the sake of advancing other people's plots, but I'm not going to advance Iris' plot or put her through any character development. If Llia ever comes back, she should be able to pick up from where she left off fairly easily.
Please let me know what you think of this idea. I'm particularly interested in what the owners of family members think, as they are affected the most.
