[Damage post from soldier 2 to Giglamesh

Giglamesh wassnt so happy about the last hit in the cycle missing its target, if it had hitten he more then likely would not of been able to get back up. Yet since he managed to roll away, giglamesh just left a large upheaval of rocks in the ground from the masive downward force of the two strikes.

Giglamesh would stand still centered in the crater, he would cross his two gunblades blades, side to side in front of his torso, then runes would begin to glow green on his arm guards and green runes would begin to write themselves on the sides of the blades. Once the runes made it to the tip giglamesh would slash his blades down to his sides, and they would blast any debris and dust away from him, but the wind was much greater then that of a small slash like that would of had. then when the solider struck giglamesh would hold the blade up to bock his blade, but because of the weight behind it it impacted preety hard, then as he saw the second slash trying to pass him aimed at river giglamesh would strike the soliders blade down in to the soil.

Giglamesh would continue his advance right as river was finishing hers. He would literally jump off of her by jumping placing his left foot on her left shoulder and leaping over her and the solider. In the air behind and above the solider giglamesh would slash his right blade causing his body to spin clockwise, then to accelerate the spin he would slash the left blade and the right once again. Yet these were not wasted movement each slash literally sent out a shockwave of wind threw the air at the solider, three of them aimed at his torso. Then the runes grew brightly and giglamesh would point the right gunblade at the solider and it would look like somebody largly inhaling air, then it would blast a wide green beam, then as he drew back the blade which didnt move for the time the beam was spewing out. Then he would turn his body and fire another green beam from the left gunblade. Still airborne he would place the two gunblades together, this was the Ittou-Tama's real form a single double bladed, and barreled gunblade. "Shikon Ryujin."

Then while in the air he would point the combined gunblade at the solider and small twisters of air would begin to be drawn in to the barrels, as would green wind magic. "and...Ryuujin Tenbatsu!" He would again fire, but this beam was much bigger and wider, as well as the beam shot out of the barrels longer much like a mega particle cannon.

He endured the pain from the attacks, and got back to his feet quicker than before. He showed a slight smirk. True overconfidence was a flaw he needed to work on, it kept him alive this long. He noted that something was throwing of Giglamesh's game, whatever it was, now was the chance to strike. Knowing better than to taunt he simply psyched himself up telling himself he can survive this. Again targeting Giglamesh first he held his sword high slashing. If he hit he would use the distraction to attack the girl.

River wanted this to end, and now. She knew she would not do as much damage as Gig, but every little bit helped. She closed her eyes momentarily before she aimed her gunblades carefully as she gathered her magic. Feeling the power serge within she directed the power into one of the shells within her left gunblade. She fired both, hitting her aimed target but the soldier raised an eyebrow scoffing at her so called miss. The two bullets collided releasing the magic stored within, a rumble beneath the soldier's feet began.

The earth roared as it shook. A crack appeared and the earth swallowed him whole. There was a grumble as the earth sealed around him. At the last moment, almost as if the earth was spitting him back out he landed on his back before the ground sealed completely.

Giglamesh aim was very much off, it did not help that the man was scurrying about trying to evade like a roach at three am when the kitchen light comes one, but miss he did. But giglamesh eye sight would spot that smirk from a mile away, that did make him happy in the slightest. So giglamesh would should him a bit more hostility to show he...was serious. Giglamesh would land and very easily shift from side to side to evade the solider attack, then in odd maneuver leap a great distance away, all of his movements creating the white after image. He would land only on his right leg, and with right blade up and left blade still down, giglamesh would fully assume the Getsurei stance. "...Getsurei...age of the moon..."

Giglamesh would turn his left shoulder at the shinra solider, and he would crouch down putting most of his weight on his right leg, and extending his left leg out to his left side, which was facing the solider. His left arm he held straight out, holding the blade horizontally, his right arm out to his right side but bent back at elbow holding the blade horizontally, point the gun barrel and blade at the solider. A gleam would shine from giglamesh's left glass eye. Then he would begin to advance foreward, but at such a fast pace he would become a blur of white light, the eye only catching small glimpse's of where he was. Where he was, was a b-line straight for the solider running full speed, and even though its not seen because of his speed, giglamesh would leap to increases his speed even further keeping in the Getsurei stance the whole time. But right as he was about to run in to the solider he would lash his left arm to his left side, using the centripetal force from the left slash he would also thrust the right blade with unimaginable power aiming the blade directly for the midsection of the man.

But giglamesh wassnt done, blade within the soldier's torso blue magic would swirl about the blade, and giglamesh's right hand grasping the gunblade. Red runes would begin to brightly glow from inside the solider body, and outside where visible. "Ryuujin Yaka Shinshutsu!" Giglamesh mid thrust in to the soldiers body would begin casting firaga. The solider would erupt in to a massive blazing ball fo flames, that was still being pushed back by giglamesh blurring advance, thus the translation being Dragon King's Burning Advance
