Venuslady Veunus Rahl Hey anyone got a recipee for Pepermint chip cookies? Maybe you could start with the standard chocolate chip cookie base, but add mint chocolate chips? ( Do they make such a critter? ) Just an idea! hmm that sounds good but the pepermint chip cookies I encountered were with like candy canes crumbled into them and omg were they awsome

Psyzapp ThisEmptySoul Vengence of Areashine My last roommate made these pumpkin chocolate chip cookies that were to die for. I don't know how she made them (it was a secret), but they were absolutely wonderful. Perhaps like this?
2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed 2 teaspoon vanilla 2 cup canned pumpkin 2 teaspoon baking soda 1 cup vegetable oil 2 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon each - cinnamon & nutmeg 1 cup chocolate chips 1/2 teaspoon ginger 4 cup flour
I'm MAKING those babies either today or in the next day or so! BTW I "tweaked" the recipe a bit.... Directions:
Beat sugar, pumpkin, oil and vanilla.
Sift together dry ingredients. Stir into the pumpkin mixture until smooth.
Blend in chocolate chips.
Drop by spoonfuls or oiled baking sheet, and bake at 350°F for 12-15 minutes.WHOA!! I'm making these babies! I need to dig a good recipe out and share. I'll be back. xd

I don't care if they are lemon flavored or almond flavored (actually both sound just yummy). Could anyone help me out? gonk

You can probably fine them at a good natural food store. And don't forget to sprinkle a tiny bit on the top while they're baking!

Thanks Venuslady. I guess I will just have to do that if I can't find a good recipe. Thought there might be a good one out there. I'll need to check out epicurious.com and look. They features recipes from BonApitite and Gourmet magazines. I find the best recipes there.
I could also use a plain white cake box mix and add poppy seeds and almond extract too. Maybe I'll try both and see which is best. 3nodding
