Alright, guys! The role-play is up! I'd still like another player or two, but we can start playing in the meantime.
Here's how we're starting: This is the first day! Our first time in the building. Security is going to take about 15 minutes on the first floor to verify your identity, then you're to leave your belongings with them. They'll be sent to your room. You're to go the the third floor locker rooms and change into your physical training uniforms. They're labeled by name, and they're basically skin-tight bodysuits. Fun.

I am intrigued by this. I would like to join. I saw that you're missing a doctor/field medic and pilot, and I wouldn't mind being proficient at herbs. I would also like to be decent at marksmanship, if at all possible.
Now then, the question becomes how long should I wait for a response and should I post a skelly here and in the Profile Page, here only, or Profile Page only?

Post it here or PM me, then I'll tell you if you're accepted. If so, then you can put it in the profile page.
YAY! I was worried about starting without a fifth player, and now we don't have to!
EDIT: I just added a bunch more team positions that I realized we could use. Also, you can feel free to suggest anything you want that I haven't listed. I'm pretty open to suggestion.

I was going to go to bed, but then you happened to be on and willing to post and we got a new player. So now I've got an andrenaline rush keeping me up. Woo!
EDIT: Even if he can't make a profile tonight. Must have logged off before I responded. How sad.
So, Haven, when you said you wanted to be good with herbs, are you talking Wilderness Survival? Because that would be a pretty good secondary talent for a medic. But if you want to be a good shot, you should probably take a different position. If everyone's a good shot, then the marksman position loses credibility. So I'm going to insist that a few positions be bad at shooting.
I might have to beef up my character, or the only thing he'll be able to really contribute is leadership.

Sent the PM, Let me know if there's anything that needs to be altered. I was thinking I'd be a good shot, but I wouldn't be able to take down something like a rampaging horde of Aliens.

Replied to Haven, and I'm glad for the post. I'm sorry if I sound rude Haven, I really am! I'm just concerned for my own character.
And I'm starting to see a problem. The more characters we get, the more people are going to start pushing into each others' territories. I might n** that in the bud by forcing everyone to be a genius ditz. That's where you're god-mode awesome at one thing and total crap at everything else. But I'd rather not do that. I'll just have to tailor new characters to blend with the party.

Yes, she can know how to drive, of course. But she's only average at it. Don't feel bad about that, she's the only one who even knows how to fly a starship aside from the pilot and co-pilot. She's just nowhere near as good as they are, and should only take their place in case of emergency.
Also, Haven's accepted! Yay! And thanks to him, I've got another team position to add! Computer/Electronics Expert!
I have this great picture in my head of Balthazar sneaking into an enemy base and planting a remote controller on the enemy's mainframe, then having a computer expert hack it from the ship in orbit.
Except he can't, because it's encoded, and he needs Michelle's help to decrypt the file before he can [continues to rant breathlessly with bright eyes and exuberant hand motions]

So, shall I post in the thread? I'm giggling at the thought of my character capturing an enemy and "questioning" him, using some herbs to keep him alive for the optimal time.

Uh, careful there, buddy. We can't actually torture and kill our enemies like that. We're too ethical. You'd get court martialed. You can intimidate them, keep them awake, use a little psychological torment, but actual torture crosses a line in sophisticated military ethics.
Also, I removed the co-pilot position. Lya fills that position. She's co-pilot, in addition to her mechanical duties. Of course your profile is fine. I okayed it before, didn't I?
EDIT: Y'know, a little pain would be okay. Smack 'em up, bruise 'em a little. But no breaking their bones or anything! And no cutting them! Those are lines I won't let you cross. (I have a tender spot about torture.)
