((aguyuno, you might might to edit your entrance post somewhat. You could be chasing Hiram and Duncan perhaps, because they were both attacked by Celestials and perhaps that might leave some magical residue, if you need some advice in twisting it that way - but neither Duncan nor Hiram are Celestials. In fact, every other character except Samuel would be a Celestial. Just remember those three guys. Anyway, hope that helps. I mean, I really liked your post otherwise. wink ))

No Celestials? I thought atleast one of em was. Well that's fine then, I always have back up plans.
And thanks ^_^. Unfortunately, my posts AFTER openers are never quite as good. Don't get me wrong, they're not like one liners, they're still good (in my opinion anyway). But it won't be like 400 lines long next time. Lol.
Alright, changes have been made. I also explained why he was chasing, so you might want to read it.>

((Dude with the sicky!!))
Mizumi: ~Isis HQ, Lunchroom~
Mizumi smiled at Dierdre's recount of the morning's events. A small, nagging voice in the back of ehr head wished she had been a part of that action, but the rest of her brain knew that she could never truly bear to leave the HQ. It was too much out there. Her friends were so brave, going on missions and fighting the bad guys directly. She almost felt like a coward.
She thought about Korin's outburst earlier, and sighed. Maybe she was sappy or something, but she felt bad about hurting some random innocent bystander. Even if he had been staring, which wasn't very nice.
The lunchroom was pretty quiet, as most agents wouldn't be having lunch for another hour or two. The food was actually pretty amazing, considering it was a cafeteria. Korin had been right, it was spaghetti day, and there was garlic bread and all sorts of Italian side dishes.
The group sat at their regular table after getting food. Mizumi was quiet through most of the conversation, but this was normal. She never talked much, preferring to listen to what everyone else had to say.
Duncan: ~Back of Hiram's car~
Damn, he thought, nothing is going my way today!
Duncan felt the pain in his muscles easing up, but decided to play as if still incapacitated. Better to have the enemy underestimating you, he figured.
"What?" he asked, caught by surprise at the cop's last question. It was kind of strange, he thought, considering he certainly hadn't acted as though he knew any of them.
"No, man. Why would you think that?" This situation was slowly degrading, and Duncan had to think of a way out. He pushed himself up enough to see out the back window of the car, and suddenly his eyes went wide.
"Holy crap, dude! Some wacko guy just stole some other dude's truck! He's totally chasing after us, dude!"

a) Your car wasn't on the same street. Hiram turned a corner, THEN he stole the car.
b) It was a _car_ he stole. The truck is what killed the original owner of the car.>

((*nod nod* I'll wait for the edited version of Duncan's account, then.))
Deirdre: ~Isis HQ, Lunchroom~
Now that the danger was past, she was content to gorge herself on donuts. It was either a mark of her lucky metabolism or even perhaps one of the best perks of being a Celestial that no matter what she basically inhaled, her weight flunctuated little. Of course, nutrition was still rather wise, so she also had a sandwich and orange juice. Contrary to public opinion, Celestials did not opt to ingest human flesh or newts (or, at the very least, the sane ones).
"About Sazuko..." began Deirdre in a pause in her hungry eating. "I'm beginning to wonder about her tempermant. Technically I'm not supposed to judge possible recruitment candidates, but if my job starts to just look like harassment for some girl, I'm not so sure I want a part of it. I would say to step off the case except...
"...that Hiram and his new partner now seem to have influence on the situation. And that could end badly."
She leaned back, watching for slated eyes for both a verbal and more subtle admittance of her coworker and friend's opinions.

((Poor Mimiekosan cry ))
Korin ~Isis HQ, Lunch Room~
Korin idly twirled her spaghetti with her fork, listening to Deirdre. She watched Mizumi, deep in thought, and then put another forkful of her lunch into her mouth. Not quite done chewing, she agreed with Deirdre. "I hate thoshe guysh," she said, attempting to swallow. "I wish they would stop meddling. If they keep it up, they could turn Sazuko aganist us, and that would be a huge setback for Isis. Celestial foes are the worst. Clashes of celestial power are a highly dangerous affair! We can't afford an enemy that formidable." Korin sighed and leaned back in her chair. "This is unbelievable..." she muttered.

Parafli ~Closing in on Hiram's car~
"...Getting away."
But he wasn't going to give up that easily. Holding the wheel with his right hand, he opened the door on the driver's side with his left hand. He then concentrated a large amount of wind energy in his left palm, leaning out the side. His car was already going at a high speed, so he just needed to time it now.
Narrowing his eyes infront of him, he followed Hiram's car with his eyes, maneuvering his stolen vessel so it was directly behind it. Ripping off the clutch, he snapped it in two. Jamming half of it into the wheel to lock it in place, he then jammed the other half on the accelerator pedal to insure it didn't slow down. and powered some wind energy in his right hand this time. Leaping out of the side of the open door, he fired the wind blasts behind him and towards the ground (diagonally). Instead of crashing to the ground in a bloody mess, the wind blast launched him into the air while the speed he already had on him from travelling in the car forced him forward faster. Laughing as he shot through the air, he didn't even glance behind him as he heard the echoing screams of people behind him as his out of control car caused it's carnage, forcing many of other vehicles to crash.
Bringing his right fist below him, he crashed onto the roof of Hiram's car. Landing in a tripod stance, he badly dented the roof. But it didn't matter. Hiram was, after all, a human. Generally their reaction would be too speed up now, not to stop. It was possible he WOULD stop the car, of course, but he was more worried about being flung off the side by the immense speeds of the car. Lieing down on the roof, he kept as low as he could to avoid being pushed off by the wind. Now it was time to just wait, and see where they were headed.

((Right...so I'm gonna take a few liberties here. Like for example, its just so happens the hallway Luca's standing in has a window with direct view to Parafli's stunt))
Luca: ~Rennard Apartment Complex~
Now I KNOW I heard something. That was a car crash, a rather big and entertaining car crash. It sounded like a thousand voices screaming at once and were suddenly silenced...wait...no...where'd I pick that line up from?
Ah how convenient. A window to see the accident from above...
Oh?
Hehehe...yep, it sounded like HIS trademark alright. Course I recognized him. I never forget a face. We've crossed paths before.
...
...
Right. So I never forget a face but I have a problem with names.
I REALLY wish I could remember easy things like that
Para...Para...something...Para...Aw screw it.
But yeah. Damn kid's never gonna learn. Showing off like that...always his trademark. I wonder if he's considered the potential health hazards that riding on top of that car would represent? I mean...WHAT if the dude inside the car decided to stop? He's not gonna be able to use his wind powers to save his a**...
I slowly raised my hand. I smiled. Frowned. I knew what I was about to do. My metal element powers gave me the ability to actually magnetize the air behind the car, bringing it to a complete stop....abruptly even...Please keep your hands and arms inside at all times...
Luca raised his hand and pointed it towards the car with Parafli on top, he smiled, he had been in need of a pointless murder for quite some time now.
But then again, maybe not today. He hadn't considered his most annoying flaw. He could not manipulate metal if it was being obstructed by something. So instead...well...the window frame just happened to be made of metal as well. In a loud clang the frame came flying out of the wall, completely obliterating the glass.
Oi! What the...?!
He quickly moved out of the way as the frame flew past him and landed about 10 feet behind him.
Oh right...obstructions...well, s**t
So, I don't suppose my friendly cop buddy over there is planning to ignore the clanging and the crashing and the noisy destruction that just took place. I should probably make myself scarce really quick....
And in a few seconds, Luca was inside his apartment, just accross the hall from Sazuko's...with a wake of twisted metal and shattered glass behind him

((Ahahaha. Why do I find this all so highly amusing? I think it's because I don't actually like Hiram. Outside of killing him, I don't care and probably won't cry foul.))
Hiram: ~Car, Westminister Street~
"Bloody hell, what is it with today? And what do these aliens have against my car?!"
Fear, anger and panic all set in for him to control the car rather dangerously. He wasn't, persay, exactly tactical enough to foresee stopping the car, but neither did he follow the flawed logic that if you sped the car up, the demon would naturally fall off it. What he ended up doing was this - stopping and stalling, stopping and stalling again. Basically anything he could do that might shake off this harbringer of death.
"Is this one of your friends?" demanded Hiram. This idiot still looks uncannily like Deirdre. "Someone here to try and bust you out?

((sorry guys for being away so long.))
Sazuko: ~Rennard Apartment Complex~
"Um...well.....See...Uhhhh.." Sazuko scratched her head. She could be involved, or it might be a totally different murderer. Either way she should have said no. That what was with al the umming? Sazuko smacked her forehead with the palm of his hand. I am so stupid, she thought.
CRASH!
Sazuko looked up.
"What was that," she questioned out loud. Pushing Sammuel out of her way, she ran into the hallways. There stood shattered glass all over the floor.
"The hell...?" Things were not going her way today. Not to mention that the apartment owner was probably going to make her pay for the damage...

He would follow her lead and not be distracted. "Do you want to get out of here? It looks like trouble I don't want." And she had said 'um.'
