Pellumb looked around as Miami's echo ended, and his eyes widened as he saw the trees appear to change shape and a light seemed to show out of a previously dark spot. "H-hey! L-look at th-that." He said as he nudged her.

The female turned and saw the light. "Oh, thank goodness." She said as she made a run for it. "Let's get out of here while we can." She didn't think about how this could lead them somewhere just as bad, just that it was light and a way to it.

Without even attempting to say something, Pellumb dashed after her. A sinister smile seemed to appear in the edge of his vision, but faded when he turned his head. They neared the light, and he wondered what lay beyond it

Maimi was just so glad to be in the light again. There wasn't a worry in her head that something worse lay behind those trees. She didn't go to fast as she didn't want to lose Pellumb. "Light!"

Pellumb closed his eyes as they went through it, and when he tentatively opened them up again his mouth went agape. They were in a type of garden, with flowers and ponds and rivers.

Maimi looked around. Wow what a wonderful sight. "Wow, this was beyond that scary woods? This must be a secret place. It's wonderful!" She was taken a back, but loved it.

Pellumb's open mouth turned into a smile as he looked around. "W-wow, it's like a s-secret garden." He poked the still surface of the lake and a single ripple went over it, distorting the image for only a moment.

"Yeah, you're right. Do you think all the scaryness was to keep us away?" She asked as she walked looking around. Hopefully if that was true there wasn't anyone around to get them to leave as she liked it here. It was much better then the dark woods they were in before.

Pellumb shrugged. "M-maybe it's to keep bad people out, and only let the good ones in? So... we're the good ones?" He smiled at the thought of that, he'd love to stay here forever.

Miami liked that idea too. "Yeah, that sounds good. So, now I wonder if there are any snacks." The female chuckled. That's why they were on this adventure after all, right?
She began to walk again looking for something that looked good to eat or smelled it.

Pellumb's smile twithed lightly. Oh right, snacks. That was the reason for their ending up here, wasn't it? He had completley forgotten, as was usual of him. "Um..." He looked around. "Th-there's gotta... b-be someth-thing here... somewhere."

Miami headed off to a smoke curling from where she figured was a cabin or some sort of home. That or maybe it was a camp fire. Either way there might be food where there is fire. And smoke lead to fire.

He glanced up at the smoke as she did and seemed to think the same as she, for he started that way at the same time as her.
