"I suppose you're right, Ed. The last thing Sue needs is the pressure of defending two others by herself. And we do have superior numbers. I guess it will be alright. Just... be careful."
Then, addressing NoMetal, Valter said "We were going to see if we could find one of the people responsible for this. But... What were you saying? A way to beat Asami?"

"Oh I see...right the way to beat Asami." Nometal paced a bit, like trying to remember what he was thinking. "Oh yeah, it was this. For every yin, there is a yang. Like black and white, dark and light, and good and evil. We just need to find Asami's Yang, and we may have a chance. That is my idea. I think that pendant Ephraim found may be a clue to finding the yang. I will fight on to help as well." Showing the two blades he pulled out earlier, Yin and Yang, he raised them over his head and said, "Who is with me?"

"JUST ONE THING!" Ed blurted, crossing her arms and standing in a rather soldier-like fashion. Then her expression let up slightly into a more confused look. "...Who's Asami?"

Turning, Nometal said, "Asami is the one who has been causing all of the people to be like they aren't. Has been making them evil. I still don't know what she looks like, yet I am sure we will be able to get help here soon."

Though he understood the importance of Ed knowing their enemy, he was still fidgeting with anticipation for the upcoming search. It was just so hard for him to be patient. He wanted so badly to destroy the ones that were doing this to his friends.
"Yeah, that pretty much covers it. When should we leave?", he added impatiently.

Run.
And so Alihi ran, her tears flowing as her feet pounded against the ground, taking her away from the group and closer to... where? She hadn't even gotten out of the town yet, but she was at the border of it. And once she was out... where would she go?
Don't run.
She stumbled, nearly falling flat on her face. "... This is ridiculous." She murmured, shaking her head slowly. "Absolutely..." She wiped her eyes on her sleeve to stop the tears. "... Ridiculous." The tactician's hand tightened into a fist. She bit her lip hard as well, willing herself to calm herself down enough to be presentable to everyone else. After all, she had a speech to make when she got back to FEFGA's. She would have to explain that things had changed, that there wasn't a convenient safe spot like she once believed; she had a gut feeling that Asami, the person responsible for Rei and Nils' transformations, was also responsible for Abel's. Although she wasn't positive of it, she surely couldn't rule out the possibility.
She was not looking forward to telling them. She let out a heavy sigh and looked up to the sky for a moment, before willing her feet to slowly take her back to FEFGA's. "... Guys, I'm sure you heard the news..." She mumbled softly, rehearsing her speech to herself.

Ganon slowly turned, following Blossom's directions through the streets. He walked, still holding her ankles, but it was faster than a good jog for Blossom. Each footstep covered a huge span, after all. He took a corner sharply at her command and nearly tripped over a young child toddling through the street. "Waugh!" He skidded to a halt and lifted one talon, then stepped back, pressing a claw to his chest with eyes wide. "Whoa," he murmured, panting and lifting Blossom off his shoulders as he kneeled down, trying not to look giant and imposing. "Uhm, wow, hi, I'm... I'm not gonna hurt you." He sat down, scratching his neck. "Where's your mother? Blossom, uh... do you know her?" Damnit, he had been away way too long. He used to know everybody in Eyris!

The child looked up in wonder at Ganon and Blossom. Even though the reptilian bard was sitting down and Blossom wasn't that tall, they still were big to the small child. "Whoa..." She said with amazement, her dark brown eyes widening slightly. But then she shook her head, her short and bold red hair whipping around a bit before settling down. She wore a short, long-sleeved, pink dress, with ribbons the color of her hair. A necklace with a small charm on it hung from her neck, looking a bit too big on her.
"... I don't know, mister." She said with a tiny frown. "I'm looking for her." The child looked up and down the street before focusing her attention back on Ganon. "... Have you seen my mommy?"

Blossom rather enjoyed her ride, despite the given situation that meant having that ride. She always did like heights, even if she wasn't tall herself, and Ganon was such a nice guy. He didn't even pick at her when she gave him directions that lead them down a dead end. He just backed right up and went on another way. She didn't expect him to skid to such an abrupt halt, though, and yelped in surprise, fisting her fingers in his hair. She didn't fall off, though, only moving away from his shoulders as he lifted her off of him and set her neatly on the ground.
"You look... familiar," Blossom commented. She squatted down, getting easily to Amara's height. She looked at Amara with wide eyes, trying to figure out who she looked so much like. The bright red hair color wasn't helping matters. "Who is your mommy?" she asked. "You can tell us her name, right?"

The child grinned excitedly, swaying back and forth. "My mommy's Alihi Kaua, miss!" She giggled happily, proud to mention her mother's name.
"She's a... uhm... tack...tish...ann?" She blinked, confused on the pronunciation of the word. But she shrugged it off with a happy smile as she continued to sway energetically.
"And I'm her daughter, Amara Kaua-Aelfgar!"

Although she once again faced a bitter defeat, Sue was able to pick her head up and silently ride behind Ganon, following him back to Fefga's. She was silently wishing Valter and Ed good look in their campaign to stop Asami, as they apparently knew how.
Now, the nomad didn't care who ended it. Just so long as someone did.
Alihi's... daughter? That's what she heard from the little girl that one of her last names was Kaua, the same as Alihi's. She recalled the tactician's stories of her...
"Um... Amara... I'm Sue. My father is Rath..." The nomad found herself at a loss for words.

Ganon blinked. Alihi... that's what they'd called that poor woman. He certainly doubted Alihi would feel any better with her daughter wandering the streets alone, and he smiled amicably. "Blossom, we should really take her with us, or... somewhere. We certainly can't let her wander around out here." He shifted and twisted and unfolded his legs as he stood back up, slowly looking around. "Amara, do you know where we live? Is anyone there?" He scratched his neck. "Someone we can leave a note with?"

The small girl gasped softly. "Oh! I heard about you! I overheard mommy talk to uncle about her trips here!" Amara grinned happily. "So I am in the right place! But my mommy isn't here..." She looked up and down the street once more before turning back to Ganon, who addressed her.
She shook her head. "No, sir. I don't know... I..." Her small hand closed around her necklace. "I just wanted to see mommy. Uncle looked so sad after she left, talking to himself, saying "I'm sorry" over and over again... so I wanted to find mommy." The red-haired girl looked to her feet, tears forming in her eyes. "... I left a note with uncle, saying that I was looking for mommy. But I had no idea where to go, so I just... walked. And then I ended up here."
Amara looked around again, sniffling softly, before staring up at Ganon. "... Where am I, mister?"

She's lost. That's the conclusion Sue came too, and by the looks of it, she had become lost in more than just the city. Amara had travelled worlds through the Door, whether or not she knew it.
The nomad had to keep her safe now, as the little girl was in a foreign place. "Ah.. we were just looking for your mother, small one. You'll... help us look, won't you?"
The truth be told, she was awkward around children. Mostly everyone she knew in Learania were fully grown, so children were new... and kind of scary.

Amara turned to Sue and nodded slightly, wiping her eyes on the sleeve of her pink dress. "O-okay."
She was a bit afraid, yes, but at the same time her desire to find her mother overpowered any other emotion she could muster. Maybe it was the bond between a mother and a daughter, but she felt that her mother needed someone. Amara only felt this once before, and that was a while ago... The young child didn't even remember why. All she remembered is that she felt this way before.
"Mommy..." She murmured softly, her hand clenching the necklace tighter.
(( Alihi's going to FLIP when she sees Amara. xD Alihi: "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE WITH UNCLE AKI D:"
And also, the other time she had the feeling was when Ryuu died and Alihi went into a depression. D: I'd say Amara's about 4 or 5 now, and she was... I think 2 and a half when that happened? Something like that. ))
