Casia was beginning to feel funny, lightheaded as they got further into the song. She felt her pulse speed up. Was it working? Were they really going to change back? The calm that the situation had forced her to adopt until a solution was found was beginning to disintegrate in her rushed desire to get this trippy experience over with.
"I think I go back to San Juan."
"I know a boat you can get on."
"Everyone there will give big cheer!"
Jane rushed over to behind Casia- or at least Casia's body as the song came to an end, oven mitt firmly on her hand. Just in case. She didn't want to have to use it, but she didn't know what Casia's breaking point was and though she seemed to have done everything else wrong today she could at least try to make sure nothing worse happened.

"Everyone there will have moved here!" Josh finished. He was starting to feel dizzy, the room started to spin. He looked at Casia, to smile at her. "We did--" He felt himself falling backwards, and then, everything went black.
Thali went to Casia's side, in case she had to catch her. She hated it when people fainted, they usually bumped their heads on something hard, and got hurt. Usually resulting in the elf worrying about them until they woke up. "Be ready to catch her." She told Jane.

Casia swayed and clutched at her head as the room began to spin once more and blackness sought to block her vision.
But something was rushing back at her, she felt it, the vocal range, the wings which she flapped mightily to reassure herself, she was back in her own body and she was overwhelmed. Her own power, her own voice, herself once more.
The first thing she felt was a rush of ecstasy, of nausea, and then just one overwhelming urge. She opened her mouth to scream, to make sure this never happened again, and in that moment she felt Jane rush forward to stop her but it wasn't necessary, the blackness was overwhelming and the siren collapsed limply in the mail carrier's arms.
Jane bent with a grimace as the siren's weight fell into her, but worse things could have happened, she supposed. "Is this okay now?" she asked carefully. "Is everything back to normal?"

Quick as a flash, Thali was there to catch Josh. She sat on the floor, his head cradled in her lap. She nodded at Jane. "They should be back to normal now." She said. "Er.. Jane. I'm really sorry about this. Things like this normally don't happen around here and.. I wasn't really expecting it." The elf frowned slightly, she hoped Jane could forgive her.
Josh's eyes fluttered open. "Mom?" He said, looking up at her. He sat up, and looked around. Much better! Everything was back to normal. He gave a relieved sigh, before his mother wrapped her arms around him. "Mom." He said, embarassed. Sure, Casia hadn't woken up yet. But still.

Jane nodded quickly, but her thoughts were elsewhere. "Yes, well... Yes." The guardian looked up at the pair next to her and flashed them an odd look. "I can imagine." Hefting Casia up in her arms and trying to negotiate it so the wings wouldn't hit anything, she struggled for a moment to catch her balance and then righted herself. "I forgive you." Strangely enough, the guardian found she did. She didn't think something this bizarre would be easily forseeable even for Thali. "If you find out what did it, besides Kool Aid because I suppose that they don't generally mass produce out of body experiences, do phone me." The guardian headed towards the door as she spoke, she wanted to get out as soon as possible. She wasn't sure about Casia in particular, but after a little experience like that, a normal siren was bound to be angry. "Thank you for having her over!"
And with that, Jane made good her escape, Casia and dozens of new concerns in tow.
