It's hard to say that I was wrong, it's hard to say I miss you..
Karissa smiled at the boy who took the seat next to her. "Hello again. I guess I didn't scare you too badly last period." She said, her voice very cheery. She was unsure of how Alaric would respond, the last time she spoke to him he had blushed. Karissa's mind was reeling all the same though. Again she could hardly sit still in her seat.
Since you've been gone, it's not the same..

He looks up from his book, "oh I didn't notice you... I'm sorry." He blushed lightly.

It's hard to say that I was wrong, it's hard to say I miss you..
Karissa frowned at the boy, "Why are you blushing at me? Do you like me or something? Or are you planning something against me? Or do you know something about me?" Karissa's voice became less friendly and more scared, and she had a harder time sitting still. She began to look around the room, as if she would find someone watching her.
Since you've been gone, it's not the same..

His blush becomes deeper, "No, it has nothing to do with you, I just don't deal with attention very well. I wouldn't plan anything against you, and I don't know you well enough to like you." He got redder as he mumbled something under his breath.

It's hard to say that I was wrong, it's hard to say I miss you..
Karissa looked around a few more times before settling down, and switching back to being hyper, but cheerful. "Oh okay good. We tend to get worried sometimes. But for the record, I like you. You are nice and you listen to what I say, even if you do blush when I talk. You also answer my questions, and you don't ask me to be quiet. Therefore, I am a fan." She gave him a dazzling smile.

His whole body seemed to loosen and his blush faded a little, his forehead landed on his open book and he let out a quite sigh. I am so glad she didn't hear that, my head would have popped. "What do you mean your a fan?" His voice low enough that it could just be heard.

"I mean that I like you, I consider you a possible friend. The others aren't so into the idea." Karissa shrugged, "But for now their opinions don't matter, as long as I don't go to sleep." Then she smiled at Alaric, "And don't worry, I am not nosey so I won't ask you what you mumbled." She showed him her doodle, and it was picture of him reading his book.

He looked at her wide eyed, the gold in his eyes had enlarged a little. Damn! "That's a... your really good at drawing..." the gold spread a little more and he spoke softly. "It was about you though, are you sure you don't want to know?"

Kijt glanced at the sign on the door and almost grinned from the sheer relief, how lucky was she that Vyx's staring had pointed her in the same direction as her next class? She liked science, she liked most subjects, but anything that required reading and memorization were her favorites. Walking into the room was easy enough, but once she got into the room she got all nervous and shy, Tyr slipping out easily and replacing Kijt.

Tyr fidgeted nervously for a moment, her shoulders slumping forward and her head ducking, her body coiled in as if trying not to get hurt. She walked quickly towards the back of the room, trying to find a seat away from everyone else where she could hide in the corner and not have to talk or touch anyone.

Seeing movement in the corner of his eye, he turned and saw someone he did not recognize, reading her body language he could not help but sympathize with her, I feel like that too, though I'm not as afraid as she is...

Karissa smiled, "It is not one of my bests. Just a quick one." Karissa was always modest about her work. She glanced up at him through her lashes, "I don't want to pry. By your reaction when I ignored it, it was clear that you didn't want me to hear." Karissa shrugged, and she blushed a little.

Kai shrugged. Yeah, that could have happened, too. He'd just like to think that it didn't. Benefit of the doubt and all that. Kai jumped when the bell rang. Huh. He'd been really late, apparently. Ah well. Before answering, he checked the clock while standing. "I believe I've got... chemistry next," he answered in a less-than-thrilled voice. Anything that had to do with the left side of his brain was practically a handicap, like math and science. "Unfortunately," he added as an afterthought with a small giggle. Well, mostly Kai disliked all classes, sans Geography and his electives because memorizing stuff was easy; it was having to apply formulas and stuff to equations that was hard. History fell into the memorization category, but it was just so boring. Oh, and lunch, too. Lunch was good.

"What about you?" he checked. She seemed pretty cool so far. Then again, most people did, but he'd like to think he saw the best in everyone. And the fact that he didn't have many friends helped.

Hell is truth...

Nausicaa nodded. "Me, too. Trust me, it's not miraculously(sp?) going to get easier, but I wish it would. That could make my life a lot easier. I have Mr. Baker for it, and he gives the largest amount of homework of any of my teachers. Thank God it's the class I'm not stupid at, or I'd be dead." Nausicaa was pretty good at chemisty, actually. She just got a dead brain in math. She dreaded it the whole day long.

((Sorry for the short post, I'm a bit brain dead myself. Also, if there are any spelling errors, sorry 'bout that too. I'm on a computer without spell check.))

She froze for a second, feeling someone's eyes, but then Kijt was paranoid and it could all just be inside their head... Still... She glanced in the direction and saw that she actually did have someone looking at her, and then she coiled in closer to herself and dashed for the corner of the room. Once safely tucked into the corner where she wouldn't need to touch someone, Tyr relaxed and dug through Kijt's bag before pulling out the sketchbook inside. 'Let's see... Kijt, mind if I color this?' She asked polietly, though she was already pulling out the colored pencils and she knew that Kijt wouldn't protest. "Tyr, Tyr, look, Tyr." Raine protested, trying to get the other personality to look, but unlike Kijt with Vyx he couldn't get her to look at the conversation he'd saw going on in their periphrial vision. Instead, Tyr kept her head down and brushed the side of her hair down so it was a curtain, and then she focused all of her attention onto the drawing.

The gold in his eyes was now the dominant color, "I was just being foolish," his cheeks lost their red and he lowered his voice Hiquel Don't you dare, I didn't want her to hear that, I didn't even mean to say it You will thank me later. "I said, 'though I know you are very beautiful' see I should have just said that to begin with." He smiled playfully and glanced at the new girl Oh no I scared her.

Karissa's eyes widened. Things became loud in her mind, and things began to blur. But she fought and remained awake. She blinked a couple times then smiled, "Thank you." She said quietly. She had never thought of herself as beautiful, she had been told for a long time that she was nowhere near pretty. She giggled, "Is that really what you said? Or are you just trying to cover something mean?" She asked, and edge of paranoia coming to her voice, and her expression. She shook it away though, because she did not want one of the others to ruin this.
