He smirked, shaking his head. "No, I prefer to walk during the night anyways." Yukio smiled at Texas. Phim wasn't out at night, which meant it was the safest time of day for him to travel.
He would probably be back in a week or so, before it got too warm. And possibly when the wind died down.

"Fair enough." Texas turned towards the horizon, watching the sun slowly begin to lower. The sun appeared bigger now, but it was no longer quite as blinding, surrounded by some pinks and mostly several shades of a beautiful reddish-orange. He sighed happily, deciding to focus on the sunset and briefly forgetting anyone else was in there in his little, peaceful world.
It took him a few moments before he realized Yukio was there. "Have you ever stopped to watch the sunset? It's such a common, every day event that not many people actually pause to watch the sun as it falls beyond the horizon and is replaced with beautiful stars and moonlight, but when you actually pause to watch it, it's absolutely beautiful. It's so serene just to watch the sunset; I always feel relaxed afterwards and it's one of the most beautiful events you can find almost every day."

Yukio kept his eyes on the setting sun as well, though his hands were busy drawing a schematic for something he would most likely build later.
With a small smirk, he turned his gaze to the other. "It's one of two things I look forward to during the day." Yukio also loved to watch the sunrise, though it was usually missed due to a need for sleep. "It seems wrong that most of the population here on the isle would be blessed with such beauty and never realize that it's there."

"It is wrong, but I suppose some people get so used to it and take the beauty for granted that they forget it's even there." The demonic reached into the sands and lifted them up. "It's a bit like how we take this for granted, you know?" He showed Yukio the sands, before letting them fall from his hands. "This beach has always been here, and we assume it'll always be, even though beaches are always eroding away." Texas' expression seemed a bit more serious than awed now, and it took him a few moments before he became awed by the different colors of the sky again. The sun looked so large right then.
"It's nice. Even if your day's been bad, the sunset is so beautiful that it's easy to forget all of your problems for a while." Texas leaned back against the palm tree, content just watching the sun slowly head beyond the horizon. It had certainly helped him do that more than once.

"Though there are some who never take it for granted." he murmured, only to smile softly when Texas held up the sands. "But there is always a plan with nature. We may loose the beaches but we may gain something more." While loosing the beach was tragic, the thought of what nature might offer in return was a nice compensation.
"Or a beautiful way to start your day." His gaze was on the sunset once more, lost in the beauty that was right in front of them. "Have you ever wondered what it would be like to share this with the person you loved?"

"Mm." Texas replied, as some vague sort of yes. "I always had wanted to go some place beautiful with Cinthy, and the beach while the sun's setting is always beautiful. Alas," he laughed, "that's no longer important. You?" Once again, he reversed the focus onto Yukio, not too fond of going further into detail about his old unrequited love than he had to in order to be polite when asked a question about him.
Texas dug his fingers into the sands, enjoying the feeling of sand between his fingers. He honestly couldn't wait until it got warmer out. Then, the days would be longer, and the nights would seem even more beautiful and relaxing.

"Yes, I did wonder, but at this point I'm thinking it's wiser to keep that just a dream or a fantasy." He laughed some at himself, dropping that subject. There was no more need to talk about it, he had done enough of that earlier
Yukio twisted his arms under his knees, resting his chin on them. He watched the sun finish setting in this position, drifting off occasionally. It was at the end when it was cooler and the stars were starting to appear that he had truly fallen asleep, having forgotten he was there with another pae.
(( Sorry, I've lost a lot of motivation for this RP. I left it open if you want to continue it though ))

(( Nah, it's cool, I think it's really winding down anyway. ^^; ))
When the sun had finally disappeared completely, he turned to see Yukio and ask what he had thought about that particular sunset... when he realized the angel was sleeping with his head on his knees. The demonic chuckled. Well, Yukio would be alright there. That Seraphim/Scott was probably expecting Yukio to be back in the mountains anyway.
Therefore, Texas lightly tipped the snowy Pae'il over so he was laying down, and then fetched a fallen leaf to cover up his torso, before mumbling a quiet, "Good night, Yukio," and heading off to his own home.
