Tal i'm with you there 100% .i've downloaded a tonne of stuff. i wish i could control my mouse with my mind! but i do like having so much more choice .
especially with plants, rugs and paontings and so on, this may be a new obsession of mine xd

I graduated my first Sim today on Sims University! I wanted to share a couple strange quirks I noticed (2 are probably game bugs.) The non-bug is that when my Sim uses a treadmill, she often trips and falls down! It made me laugh every time it happened.
The two glitches I saw were that my roommate was eating at a table and holding the plate in her hand, but between every bite, she would lay her hand (and plate) face down on her leg in her lap! The other glitch happened sometime when a Cow came over to the dorms (I'm not sure whether or not this was some mascot or something else?) and it got stuck in the cafeteria somehow and was frozen standing there with its hands up and nobody could interact with it! When I restarted the game today, the cow was moving again (shifting its weight and looking around) but still wouldn't move from the spot where it stood and still no one can interact with it. Weird!
I'm about ready to move my Sim off campus, and then maybe I'll try with a lazy bum or some party girls! The Sim I graduated had a knowledge aspiration and graduated with a 3.8 (there was one semester when she got a B, the rest were A+, all you gotta do is do enough assignments to fill the meter, and maybe the term paper too!.)

you've gotta love those sims glitches. one of my girls on the first game used to take her dirty plate outside and put it behind a bush confused had to watch her like a hawk to stop her from doing it

Wheee, I managed to breed my kitties on Sims 1 (Unleashed) biggrin I had to restart the games several times though, the kittens kept getting taken away by the animal rescue people... The mommy cat was easily distracted so I finally had to build a cage-thingy to keep her in so that she'd take care of her babies rolleyes And I just got the two last expansion I needed (Vacation and Superstar) so now I have them all for Sims 1 biggrin It'll probably be a looong while before I can play Sims 2 though, I was supposed to get a new computer but I decided to wait until after I'm done with school and (hopefully) have a bigger budget wink
Anyway, any tips for Vacation and/or Superstar? I'm not really sure what I'm doing yet, and Superstar keeps crashing so I haven't been able to explore the downtown are there too much..

I finally got Superstar too when I got Sims University, but I haven't been able to play the Superstar one yet because it wants me to stick in the latest disc (Makin Magic) and I haven't found it yet since our move.
For vacation, it's just fun and great to go on vacation (or to build/redo one of the vacation lots) and to rent a metal detector, build sand castles, snowboard on the ramp, go fishing, or play the carnival games. Just lots of relaxing activities to take your time with. Make sure to put some hot tubs though! They run low on their comfort need after doing a lot of these other fun things!

Oh coolness, I'm loving the metal detector biggrin What kind of stuff can they find? So far all I've gotten is money (not that I'm complaining though whee ). And I just discovered that dogs can dig up stuff too! Just an old boot so far though xd
I'll definitely have to redo the lots and put in some comfort and pet stuff, took me a while to realize that the pets weren't too happy without their food and beds whee

I'm currently working on my sim named Apricot. 3nodding
She wants kids, so she's pregnant with her third child, but she's not married to the guy. I think she's just using him for his sperm because she's really in love with her neighbor, Ivy.

My Sims do happen to be married and have one boy....names are Damascus, Athena and Sebastian. The boy is still a toddler and trying to learn how to walk, talk and use the toilet. xd

If you run out of time before your toddler grows up and you haven't finished teaching him to walk, talk, and use the toilet, then do a Shift+Ctrl+C and type in aging off, and then when you want them to age again, do the same thing and type aging on.

i don't know if i'll ever go through another sim pregnancy after the trauma of my poor sim trying to look after her alien twins on her own, poor girl didn't have time to sleep!
but i am tempted to start simpurkling again now fawN has expressed a wish to be American Idol xd just how glam a look would you like fawN? i have downloaded some Godiva like locks that cascade to the waist, and a couple of sexy little asian inspired dresses that i think would have your Jason drooling. think i know what i shall be doing for the rest of the evening now rofl
