Moonlite__Syren Lari watched as the slave took the reigns from her and then walked off with both mounts to the stables. The Matron then turned back to the guard and sneered at his expression, "Lead the way!" the guard lead the matron through a tunnel system that seemed to be impossible to truly navigate to any one normal but he did with ease. the halls and tunnels finally lead to the stairs and the stairs lead up to halls that where a lot more organized, and they looked beautiful. blood red trim with a white dry wall. the trim was lined with solid gold, that sparkled in the low light. the guard kept going till he lead them to a door and open the door. the room was designed the same way with some chained elven slave in a cage off to the right in the center there was a large dinning table with the matron vasune'avin already sitting there.

With Flamgra following close behind her, Lariexith followed the guard through the tunnel system. There were many twists and turns to the point where it was hard to keep track where exactly they were going. She tried to keep track of the pathway but it was nearly impossible. Instead she tried to focus on the direction of which they were were going. But even then, the trip was still vague.
Finally the trio reached a staircase and climbed up that and reached a room that slightly hurt Lariexith's eyes. The walls were white with red and gold trim, the gold trim sparkling creating an even more uncomfortable feeling to her eye sight. Seeing the blinding white and sparkling gold was like seeing the surface night sky. Lari had been to the surface on many occasion, but not in a few months at least. Her House was lit with faerie fire but dimmed in the upper archways creating a low glow. Seeing painted white walls and reflecting gold sparkles was enough to give her a headache.
Keeping her head down, the Matron followed the guard down the hallways and up to a door which he opened. The room was unfortunately designed the same way. Blinking her eyes several times, Lari got use to the obnoxious coloring of the room and peered around. She saw Matron Vasune'avin sitting there at the head of the long dining table. An elven slave was sitting in a cage off to the right.
Lari then gave her a weak, kind smile, "Greetings, deary! Such a... nice... House you have."

Flamgra followed close behind Lariexith, bowing as he entered the room.
"Greetings Matron Vasune'avin" He said, straightening his posture.

Vasune'avin snapped her fingers and the lights dimmed to a very dull glow of what would seem normal for the house, for a house. the walls turned to a black color but there was still easily enough light to see everything in the room. she did the coloring for a reason. most drows did not grow up where she did and she was used to the bright lights and her eyes could easily see in them. plus most other drows would have problums functioning in the light she could so it worked well for defence. she stood up smilling behind the two who just entered, entered a half dragon. she moved to him with haste and grace that was hardly seen. she wore a long back silk dress she had got at the surface. "Alaecalaunmiir, glad you could make." she then faced the matron that just has arrived.
"it is lovely isn't it, such good defence also most drows would not be able to function well in this house." she said smiling lightly. she had guests it would get rid of her boredom. she looked at them. "this is my weaponsmaster Alaecalaunmiir." she said pointing at the half dragon and then she and the blue scaled half dragon returned to the table and sat upon it. "i would enjoy it if you sat down, matron Lariexith" she said looking around snapping her fingers as four glasses of fine wine came one glass was giant for the weaponsmaster of this house. one as set on the table to other two where set on the open chairs on the other side of the table. she had such a lovely feast set up. she was pretty excited for the feast. she looked at the half dragon and then waited for her guest to sit.

Flamgra nodded and followed Matron Lariexith, sitting next to her at the table. Examining the feast before them,it did look rather good, it would be a shame if this were really poisoned. The spread was immaculate, roasts and vegetation, fine wines, it all looked so delicious. The Dragonborn made him a little uneasy, they were very strong,if for some reason he got it in his mind to attack them. The results could be catastrophic.

Lariexith felt the lights dim and was able to quickly adjust to the lighting and feel more comfortable to her surroundings. She watched as the Matron walked right past her and greeted some sort of humanoid appearing half dragon. Not at all frightened by the fiend but rather, a little displeased by the Matron's lack of greeting her. But she only smiled and dismissed it. For the next statement that seemed to come out of the Matron's mouth was one who was boasting about her House. But again, Lari only smiled and took it with a grain of salt.
She nodded with a polite smile as Vasune'avin introduced her to her weapons master and watched as the two went and sat at the table.
The next thing that was said, Lari couldn't help but feel a little more unwelcome. It sounded like the Matron was ordering her to take a seat at the table. But Lari knew that if she backed out now, nothing was going to resolve.
Clearing her throat, she then walked gracefully over to her chair and took a seat at the table. Starring at the mounds of food before her. The Matron then snapped her fingers as glasses were filled with wine.
Lari then looked over at the Matron and forced a smile, "Your dinner looks very appetizing but I'm afraid I won't be able to stay for very long. I'd like to go straight into business. I'd first like to begin asking for the reason why you've called me here. You said you wanted to discuss the futures of our Houses? What do you mean by that?"

"my dear eat what you want i still feel as though there is something going on with this city and the houses always trying to be the best. always trying to get to that number one rank. but right now the first house is to powerful to touch probably even if the second and third teamed up they could not take pout the first. but i do believe there is ways we could benefit just incase some sanarios go down and old drow choas starts i think we could help each out depending on what happens. i also do have a few connections to get stuff up on the surface that people don't know. i spent nearly 200 years of my life up there. but as i get down on this road i just believe an allience of these two house is nessary." she said quickly. but she did not know what the third would say to these. she also was just needing an ally she had her own plans in mind but then again who doesn't have them to try to become the most feared house in the land. the ranking system was not nessarily the best if you could make others fear the house then it could also gain just as much power. so that what her goal was. this was the first time any one has met the dragon. but she knew an interesting time was going to happen.

Flamgra was hungry, but he would not trust this food as of yet, she spoke of unity, but her subtext suggested that she wished her house to be the head house. It was expected,it is only natural to want to be the best,to be number one and revered by all who gazed upon her household. He too had bene to the surface,he was not a fan, have been born and raised here in the under dark. Keeshe poked her cute little head out of Flamgra's white hair, looking around at all the food,a little disappointed none of it was rotten, she wanted to feed of the insects that would be drawn to such things.
Flamgra turned his attention back to the Dragon born sitting at the table, why a drow would pick something so beneath them,as a weapons master, was far beyond his imagination. A weapons master,in Flamgra's opinion, should be a trained warrior, proficient with their weaponry. Demonstrating finesse and skill with each blow. The Dragon born were more well known for unwavering brutality in combat, more of a Berserker than a warrior.

Lariexith watched and listened to the Matron speak. She spoke of the obvious. Basic, common drow knowledge about their lifestyle. Of course there is plotting in the city. There always is! Lariexith did not for a minute keep her back turned on the other houses. She had lived in cities where they had knocked her house down just to make a statement or just to be sure that her House wouldn't become supreme.
And House Rylinndar.. Its true that Lari had imagined throwing that House down but only time will tell when its walls will weaken. Right now, her focus was becoming as powerful as possible. Second at best.
But her interest suddenly perked when the Matron mentioned her connections on the surface. Once the Matron was done giving her gospel of alliances and such, Lari had to ask, "Connections on the surface you say? That no one knows about? Are you speaking of weapons, food, and supplies? Or do you have something else in mind?"

"i spent a good time up there, i have connections for wine, weapons and probably elven slaves." she said almost a sadistic smile on her face. she knew she could offer much more then what they would expect as long as no one found the truth about her daughter then ti would be fine for her to take over the house and it is better that way. she was had her own secert hide outs up there also just incase stuff starts going bad her. "so what would you want.

He stretched his legs as he followed the guard to this "Waiting room" he even gave his wing a few flaps as it was beginning to cramp slightly, he entered the rather dull room and sat in a meditative way while he waited for... whatever it was he must wait for.
"Hmmm" he got up after his meditation was done and looked around a bit, Very dull... he thought he remembered where he had come from houses were highly decorated... maybe the other rooms were...

Lariexith heard the first few words and her face dropped a little from slight disappointment. Lari had been raiding the surface all of her life. She had hoped when people offered her trade goods from the surface, it wouldn't be the typical "weapons and supplies." Though the food, slaves, and shipment is good for the House and good for business. Running your own city on the surface with your own trading route and connections to further take over was more her ideal.
Lari suddenly caught the slight pause in the Matron's speech before she continued. Indicating that maybe she had other things on the surface that she failed to mention. Lari let it go. They all had things to hide. In order for alliances to form it had to take equal trust from both parties.
"I don't think I can reject such an offer. You seem to possess much promise. I expected third to be promising but not to this extent. Your setup is actually very impressive and very admiring. However, my curiosities are a little piqued. Why would you be seeking the help of a lower house? If you want to succeed in power then shouldn't you set your sights on higher ranked houses?"

"i went to hun'afin to prove my house was worth while for an allience they wanted me to fight a human. it did not seem in my best interest so i left. the top house has not been seen for anything. but off this topic what would you want from the surface." said said looking around the room. she was simply waiting for the matron to answer the questions she had other things going on in her mind. she had other things that she needed to do.
