"Don't be afraid. Liches and Wraiths usually mind their own buisness if you just leave them be. Though if you aren't careful you can disturb them. But don't worry if they try to fight us I shall make them remember where their magic came from." Strider began descending down a large hill. Below were ruins of a great city. "Hmmm. We came to far east. It's to long a trip around to go. We shall have to enter Wraitholme. City of the undead. Don't wonder and don't look into their eyes. Liches are nasty creatures and will attempt to ensnare you with it's eye sight."

"...Right..." Brianna muttered as she pulled her bow out and notched an arrow. It was more out of habit than protection; every time she went into an evil place, she took out her weapons in case she was attacked. As they walked the "Wraitholme," Brianna began to feel a bit uneasy. She was used to walking around places where there was light; no light was here. Not even a candle. It frightened her. That was when she thought she heard moaning. Whipping around in the direction of the moaning, she pulled her arrow back in instinct. In the darkness, she thought she saw a figure leaned against some bars that's been cut into the rock. Squinting against the dimness, she could barely make out a male leaning against the bars. "Strider... There's a man trapped in a cage!"

"Then leave him there and keep your voice low. Best not to disturb those insnared in the undead's trap. Already we have gained some unwanted attention." Strider kept to a whisper looking around seeing shadows of wraiths and red/yellow eyes of liches around on the upper levels of ruined buildings. Unlike Brianna Strider saw clearly into the spell of shadow cast on the ruined city. He did not like what he saw. "It appears they intend to ensnare us. We must go-" Strider was cut off by a thunderous laugh that sounded as if the entire city was laughing. A wraith appeared infront of them but unlike the others he was glowing green and was vividly clear in the darkness.

"The dead shall not endure the living to pass."

Strider did not speak for some time seeming to think of an answer. "I am Strider the Red. Leader of the Wizard Council of the Elder Days. You shall endure me and my escort or you shall all be cast back into the abyss from whence you came, fowl Shade!"

"The dead shall not endure the living to pass. You shall all die." Then from the ruined buildings grew tall green structures of old buildings and from them all the liches, wraiths, ghosts, and ghouls emerged in a large swarm.

"It appears that we have been ensnared. Against such a force there is nothing I can do. Best to just surrender and let them put us into their dungeons. I'll find a way out of this sooner or later." Strider allowed a pair of wraithes cuffed Strider in magical bindings and tied up the others. They began to lead the company down into an underground passage way.

Brianna shook her head fearfully at this, not wanting to be imprisoned in a cold, dark dungeon. She pushed defiantly at the binds as tears of fear roll down her cheeks. As they were about to be carried down to the dungeons, Mochi and Mimi hopped out of her pack and approached the leader wraith boldly. Swirling around in a circle once, a looking glass materialized in front of it, an image of Selene slowly fading onto the surface. Hovering on either side of the mirror, both rabbits opened their mouths, Selene's voice projecting from them. "To those who dare bring harm to these travelers, stand down now. I am the goddess Selene. Release my granddaughter and her companions from your custody. If you refuse to comply with my order, so let the sunlight cleanse you." With that as a warning, a section of the cave ceiling crumbled to allow rays of sun to shine in and beat down on the wraith standing in the middle of the patch of light.

Strider stiffened. His older sister's voice was still just as powerful as he remembered. "Hello Sister. I haven't been this glad to see your face in some time." Strider smiled at her as the wraith in the light caught flame and vanished.

((Sure. go ahead. I think the creator thinks this is dead anyway.))

Brianna was shocked at her rabbit companions just did, but even more shocked when Selene appeared on the surface. But what shocked her, and slightly angered her, the most was Strider calling her sister. Turning to him, she asked in a slightly breathless tone, but it slowly gained volume and a more angry tone. "... What? She is... your sister? You are... My uncle?! Why did you not say something earlier?!"

((Sweet. Hey, you can use your evil character now, Noreen, right?))

"Where could Norie-worie be now? She should have come this way, after that fight, which she ran away from, of course." A dark brown haired man sat on a hill, overlooking the silent Wraitholme. He was speaking in a rushed manner, seemingly to himself. In his right hand was a long knife, and the other was a slab of pure onyx. He glanced down at it, almost concernedly, with his blue bloodshot eyes and curled bangs drooping in front of them. They shone with a brightness that could be considered intelligence. That was half true in his case. "Oh, Desi-Desi might not be too pleased with her, huh?" He continued, using the nickname he'd given to Desdion, the dark one he was in service to. "Since she did let her men die, then went after the group responsible, and then ran away. Failed her job, failed her task, failed the job she'd taken on." He covered his mouth with a hand as he broke out into a smile and began to laugh insanely. He stood, still snickering, and glanced down at the rock again, his friend hadn't spoken in a while, then at Wraitholme. "I'll wait for her, for a bit, until she comes. Then I'll go ahead, to the city of undead, the forsaken, the damned, and meet this group."

Oliver was sleeping, his blond hair falling over his twelve year old face and his closed eyes. Gue was carrying him, padding down the dark hallways on his silent paws. The full grown panther only came out of his stuffed animal form when his young master was asleep. He had another, more human form, but he was used to moving as an animal. He watched with wary eyes the shuffling undead who paid no mind to the pair, though he wondered why they had come this way to begin with, or why they didn't mind their passing. The scent of death was everywhere. He went on, slowing as he heard the young boy on his back stir and mutter something in his sleep. Then his ears caught sounds of people talking and he moved closer to the wall, being cautious.

Noreen was suddenly stand behind him, not looking too happy. "Yes, I know our troops died. How was I supposed to know the half breed had cleansing arrows. Oh, and by the way..." Using her unlit staff, she smacked him in the shin. "What have I told you about calling me that name? Don't use it! How many times must I say it, you nitwit!"

Skollozeir laughed again and bent his neck back to look at her upside down. He addressed her a little differently this time, but the gleam in his eyes was no less intense, or his fast talking. "Aw, I'm sorry Norie. I didn't know that arrows were Lord Desi's troops' weakness. Blades, hammers, maybe even Death, but arrows?" He straightened up and crossed his arms, turning on his heel all in one motion to look at her properly, still smiling crazily. He may have looked like a human, but he was far from it. Including his sanity, except for the remaining bits of it. " 'Course, those would kill them! You can go explain it to Lord Desi-Desi later!"

Smacking him with her staff again, she glared at him even harder than last time. "They weren't ordinary arrows, you imbecile! The wood she used had compelling qualities for demons! Don't you know anything?!" As she yelled at him, she continued to hit him with her staff. This is what she did when she was angry; hit something that would react to her blows. Although, Skollozeir wasn't exact a great stress outlet. She's figured out over the time he's joined their army that he ignores, even likes pain to a certain degree. This would probably be why he's messed up in the head.

Skollozeir stopped laughing suddenly and kicked one of the staff's ends to the ground, stepping on it to hold it there. He moved quicker than any human, and in the span of a second his knife was pressing up against Noreen's vein under her jawbone where her chin connected to her neck, near her lingual artery. His eyes flashed dangerously, a brief combination of black, red, and purple, before going back to their normal blue, almost sane looking. "Arrows are arrows, not all of the troops were demons, you could have found the half-breed, came behind her, and killed her easily. As easy as a breath, a butterfly, a leaf." He cocked his head curiously to the side, looking at her frightened expression. "I know many things, too many things, demon from Hell, things you should know." He whirled away from her then, taking his foot off her unlit staff, gripping his knife tightly. When he turned back to her, the look from before was gone, and the customary madman look was back, along with his wide grin. He was glad he'd scared her a little bit.

Noreen stared him down as bravely and boldly as possible, but some fear managed to make it to her eyes. And rightfully so; he's rarely serious. But when he was, he was threatening. When he pulled away, she rubbed her neck a bit, glare returning. "I tried sneaking behind her. But a powerful aura kept me far away from her. She's being protected by a god... No, two gods. Powerful ones, too. I could hardly breath with that kind of protective spell near me."

Skollozeir jumped a little when she mentioned gods. Not one, but two. He started to laugh a little, twirling his knife around in his fingers earnestly. "Two? Oh, this is great! Just wonderful! Now we have to go and meet them! Ha-ha-ha!" He was obviously crazy, but more along the lines of mentally unstable, going from semi-calm immediately to menacing, or vice versa. He turned to looked at Wraitholme below. "What-do-you-say, Norie-worie? Then we can go a report back to Lord Desi-Desi."
