Right. They were supposed to be going in. Why was she so nervous. Aysu swallowed hard before heading towards the door, keeping her grip on Noel's hand. She slipped her hand underneath a mat and grabbed a key before using it to open the door. The naiad then slipped inside, feet touching the soft mat underneath her.
Well, there didn't seem to be anyone in the front hall. Aysu cautiously flicked on the light, revealing the front hallway. There was no one in there, and perhaps that was a good thing until Aysu gathered up her nerves a little bit more. "Okay, we're in now." Way to state the obvious.

Noel didn't see why Aysu was so nervous. She squeezed her hand and followed her in. "What's wrong." If she didn't want her family to see them they didn't have to go.
She looked around and didn't see anyone yet. "Do you want to leave?" She looked at Aysu and smiled, "Because we don't have to do this today"

"No, no, it's fine." Aysu shook her head and squared her shoulders in a show of confidence. She had to stop being nervous. "I met Cinna ages ago. It's about time you met my family, too."
Almost on cue, Criofan O'Kane slipped into the front hallway from the stairs. Since he was so practiced in silence, Aysu didn't notice him until he spoke up. "Oh, hey Aysu. Welcome back! Ah was wonderin' when ya'd get here so ya' could tell me where ya' put your bag..." He smirked, before turning to Noel. Suddenly, he seemed a little less mischievous. "Oh, is this Noel?"
Aysu nodded, with a sheepish blush.
"Pleasure to meet you, Noel." He winked. "Ah'm Criofan O'Kane. It seems Aysu's embarrassed to have you meet me."

Noel smiled and nodded. "Hi, I'm indeed Noel. It's nice to meet you." She stuck out her hand to introduce herself properly to the fae. "Which of us is she embarrassed by?" She knew it wasn't her, but how come she was embarrassed by her family?

Criofan returned the handshake before pulling his hand back behind his back. "Oh, she's embarrassed by me. Mostly because Ah run around stealin' things from people and gettin' away with it, so the life of a leprechaun goes." He glanced at Aysu. "However, she knows as well as Ah do that Ah never swipe from family. Not that they can stop me." He chuckled.
Aysu rubbed her neck sheepishly. "Well, I can't help but being nervous around you. Didn't want you swiping anything off Noel's person without anyone noticing." She was especially worried about the ring she had only given to Noel a little while ago.

Noel looked at her hand and saw the ring still there. "You made me worry." She wasn't sure if he would do such a thing. He really didn't seem that way. "Well, I bet you're a good thief. I wouldn't even think you would steal from me, and those are the best kind.

Criofan's smirk could almost seem just a little sinister. Sure, the leprechaun wasn't particularly evil or dark, but he certainly had a darker side to him. "Oh, Noel, ya' have no idea." A mild glare from Aysu was enough to make Criofan go back to his mischievous self. "But enough of that. Don't worry around me. Well, Ah suppose ya' want ta' meet everyone else."
Aysu rubbed one of her temples lightly. "Yes, so long as they don't act like such bothers." With that, Criofan grinned and skipped off, saying no more. The naiad turned to her ice angel and shrugged. "I suppose we should follow him."

Noel smiled and nodded. Maybe there was something darker to this fae. Looks were always deceiving. "Ok, so far so good." Noel said as she squeezed Aysu's hand. She was happy to meet her family.

It wasn't soon before they were greeted by another fae, this time a purple one with markings that appeared to resemble flowers and vines. As soon as he realized who Aysu was standing with, the fae darted over and took Noel's free hand, kissing it. "Ah, is this the beautiful woman who captured Aysu's heart? What a beauty! I am most honored to meet you, Noel."
Aysu rolled her eyes at Magnus's so-called smooth and charming behavior. If only she could have brothers that were a little less obnoxious...

Noel smiled, this was a rather nice fae. "Thanks." She said to the compliment. "I don't know if I stole hers or she stole mine." It may have been a mutual stealing.

Both of her fae brothers were fairly less-than-nice in their own ways. Criofan was the leprechaun fae, consequently a fae of luck and trickery, and as for Magnus... he was another story. "Mm, I suppose if you're both madly in love with each other, you swiped each other's hearts. Hm, you could certainly make a pleasant poem out of that."
"Magnus, your bull is giving me a headache."
"What, and I can't admire people who actually commit!"
"Admire? Ya're buttering 'er up like a slice of toast!"
Magnus rolled his eyes and swatted a hand at Criofan. "Pah." Then, he turned back to Noel and Aysu. "We were actually just sitting around in the living room. It'd be marvelous if you would join us."
And Aysu was embarrassed by her family's behavior yet again. Why couldn't they try to be on their best behavior when her love was with her? At least Magnus tried... vaguely. "I promise they're not all this obnoxious."

Noel laughed, "They aren't obnoxious." Noel was actually happy to meet them. They seemed nice. "All I have ever had is Cinna and she's all grown up now." Soon Cinna would be finding her own mate and settling down. "That's a great idea." Noel said as she followed them into the living room.

Well, at least Noel seemed to appreciate them even despite their obnoxiousness. Maybe she shouldn't be so embarrassed by them if Noel found them amusing. "Well, alright." Aysu offered a smile, finally truly beginning to relax. Noel didn't mind Criofan and Magnus, so she would probably be able to stand everyone else.
The naiad trotted after Noel and her two brothers who had gone ahead of them to show Noel to the living room.
"Hey Magnus, mind getting the--Hey, who do you have with you?" Texas stood up and nodded in greeting.
"Oh, this is Noel." Criofan gestured to the angelic snow Pae'il nearby. "Aysu's girl. Aysu coulda' introduced 'er, but Ah did it anyway."
Texas rolled his eyes. "Pleasure to meet you at last, Noel. Aysu has said plenty about you." The naiad blushed at the casual remark.

"Thanks, it's nice to meet you as well." She looked around the room and got a bit more nervous, all of Aysu's family was male. "Are you the only girl in this group?" She asked in a hushed whisper.

And now Noel was getting nervous. This couldn't be good. "Well, not quite. I do have an older sister, but she's usually in the study. I can go get her," whispered Aysu back, with a small frown. Did all the guys make her uncomfortable? Aysu had gotten used to having all the male figures around--with quite a few of them, she had helped make them the men they were--but perhaps they made Noel uncomfortable.
Hopefully Esmee was in the study... she was hanging out with Bneut more often now that they were somewhat officially engaged to each other.
While Texas wondered what he had done to suddenly make Noel nervous--he had been the one who spoke before she started looking around and whispering, after all--he waited for Noel and Aysu to solve whatever they were talking about, waiting sliently.
