I agree with the anti-legging people who don't think they look good with anything. xD Wow, sheer leggings? I've never heard of those before. Now that is a frightening thought.
One of my friends was a sparrow in a play once, so she showed up wearing just leggings. I was talking to my other friend, so when I saw her I was like, "Uh, Michelle, did Pam forget to put on pants this morning?" She just laughed at me and said that Pam could pull it off because she's skinny. Regardless of the fact that Pam is indeed a toothpick, leggings without pants = NO.

ugh... this stupid whore in my gym class wore just leggings that had the effect of denim. She has a good body and all, but ew.
On their own = NEVER
As for dresses or skirts...depends on the length.
They come in handy when its freeeezing and you wear them under jeans. (I live in canada, it gets cold)
They actually look okay with athletic shorts (they kinda look like knee pads) :O
But I think leggings are a dying trend anyway...

Dude, I feel naked if I'm wearing SHORTS.
I have to have pants on or I'm not leaving the house. Period.
I can't imagine just wearing leggings and a long shirt. That's mind boggling to me.

last years fashion was leggings and long tops that look like a dress [the tops really only go to your knees maybe shorter than that]. i hated it for two reasons it looked discusting and my mum wouldn't let me get some. at first i wanted to dress like that than i relised how discusting it looked...

leggings if freaking fashionable here... uuggghhh, and yes my mom want me to waer one!! heck no... i hate it when my dress or anything i wear infasises my butt!
the only time i wore one was on a special ocassion, but i was wearing a one inch above the knee dress

I go to a large high school and for several months, that was the fashion. It got to be very, very uncomfortable. There were literally hundreds of girls only wearing leggings and short shirts. What kills me are leggings printed to look like jeans so they can take the place of jeans. Just no.
