As soon as the tusked beast charged him, Aries was on the assault. He ran towards the beast, Eturna in his hands. He then leaped in a feat of acrobatics that few could pull of in such a situation. As he leaped, he performed a back flip and in that process, his body twisted making it so when he landed he would be facing the same direction as the boar-like fiend. Then in the same movement, he brought Eturna down in its length towards the fiend's head. It would strike the beast square on the snout if it didn't veer its course. After the strike he would land behind the fiend, his feet sliding across the stone floor, Eturna dragging across the floor in front of him as well, waiting to make his next attack.

If by chance, the boar were to dodge, or otherwise make Aries' attack miss, he would land as before, but then push off the ground again, using the momentum to put more space between him and the beast.

Not bad... Man jumps like a damn frog...

William stood back, relaxing against the steel bars of the door, taking in the sight of his fellow Hunter at work. Wis style seemed to rely heavily on acrobatics and agility. William knew that he, himself, could never pull off those sorts of feats of acrobatics, especially not with the arsenal he carried on his person. He thought, by watching Sol for only a few moment, that their styles might supplement each other.

Interesting...

The boar like beast, with it's minimal intelligence, did not veer in the slightest, not even realizing at first that its intended target was no longer in sight. Suddenly it felt a tremendous slam against its face that forced its already lowered snout down into the ground, causing it to drag and dig painfully against the rough dirt floor.

It's head now bruised horribly, and pounding at that with a sudden migraine, the beast clambered back to its hooved feet and turned itself about. It's staff wielding opponent came back into its line of sight, though it was near sighted and color blind, and could not make him out clearly.

It lined itself up and, after digging its feet into the floor a few times, charged once again. This time, though, it was quite angry and instead of simply bashing an annoying obstacle it desired to destroy the human that had hurt it. As it raced across the cage, kicking up dirt as it went, electricity began to crackle along out from its tusks and along the length of its shaggy body.

"Well... Finally I'm back" Sean said to himself. He had returned from a simple slaying mission, it had been laughably easy.
Upon entering the HQ, he greeted everyone with a "Hi." and went straight towards the cafeteria to grab a late breakfast. With a half-eaten sandwich in one hand, Sean made his way towards the arena Hopefully something interesting was happening over there.

Electricity eh...

He twirled the staff over his head and lined it up towards the boar like creature as if his staff were a spear. Then he threw it. From the first attack made by the creature Aries assumed that it would likely not see the attack coming fast enough to recognize what it was before it hit it.

The throw would be true, though not incredibly strong, it would be another step towards wearing down the beast and/or cracking its head open so that the juicy insides of its brain would spill over the floor.

After he threw the staff as a spear, Aries moved quickly to the right, side stepping a semi-circle around the beasts path.

Kiro staggered out of the restroom just outside the cafe. "Oh man... Eating and then getting thrown forty feet into stone steps isn't a good combination." Kiro groaned. "Oh well, I feel better now." Kiro encouraged himself.

"Maybe I'll just go for a walk." Kiro thought out loud and left to the outdoors. The sun was still up. It seemed just like any other day to him. It was peaceful. Very much unlike his childhood days. Kiro fully stepped down the small amount of stairs that exited the cafe into the surrounding court yard type setting that the Headquarters seemed to follow. Kiro then began walking carelessly as well as aimlessly, following the stone paths wherever they went.

((I'm going to start posting the fiend in brown to make it easier to distinguish from my own character. I might go back and edit the other posts to match as well....))

Man, that thing seems almost blind... I guess it's electrical powers kinda make up for that...

William moved his hand down and placed it on the hilt of his sword. Just in case his assistance was needed.

The best skidded to a halt as it's already poor vision was interrupted by an object rapidly growing larger in said field of vision, then preceded by a, very painful, impact which was subsequently preceded by blinding lights and stars exploding before its eyes.

The beast stood in the center of the cage arena, dumbfounded, and turned it's head this way and that, trying to clear it's vision and catch sight of it's target so that it could trample and gore him. Electricity still coursed out from its tusks and along its body, keeping it, mostly, protected against close attacks.

Maybe he wont need my help after all. On top of it being blind, this thing seems really stupid...

Aries sighed a little as he was now behind the beast, but it hadn't moved. I can't get close to that thing, and now it isn't moving... He crouched down and put a hand on the floor of the arena, I need to make it move away from my weapon so I can grab it and make another attack.

He whispered to himself, "It's times like these I should really carry some other weapons." Taking a moment he sighed, and then grinned before letting an ear piercing whistle that even this dazed, dazzled, and dumbfounded beast couldn't miss. "Here piggy piggy." Speaking load enough to get the fiend's attention, but William in his tucked away perch would likely be able to hear him as well.

Then he waited, assuming the beast would likely turn around and predictably start charging in his direction. Aries would respond to the action by charging in and when he got close enough to the beast, he would leap over it, likely roll over the ground before getting up and retrieving his weapon for the next shot at the electric beasty.

A look of pure disbelief came across Williams face as he observed his allies battle with the boar fiend.

Wow... Just, wow...

The boar fiend oriented on the sound almost immediately, and its sight was beginning to clear. A blurry man shape came into its field of vision and it did not even hesitate before bursting into another wild and predictable sprint. Electricity coursed over its body as it ran in jagged yellow bolts.

As it ran the bolts of energy expanded reaching out around it causing many small objects around the arena to begin gravitating towards it. Including Aries staff, which began rolling across the uneven dirt floor, though not fast enough o keep pace with the rushing fiend.

As he approached the boar, he noticed the hair on his body begin to pull towards the fiend, Static... Aries made his dive over the beast, rolling once before ending crouched his right foot forward, pinning Eturna in place. He picked up the staff, twirled it around and held it like before ready to throw it. Aries gave another ear piercing whistle to get the beast to turn around and come at him again so that he could hopefully make his mark on the beast again.

Once the beast turns around and charges him again, if the fiend does so, Aries will throw his staff like before to hopefully get the same effect if not better than last time.

Interesting technique... This could take a while...

William, seeing that Sol apparently had everything under control, released his grip on his swords handle and leaned back against the steel bars of the cage arena. So long as Sol didn't appear to be in any real immediate danger he figured he'd just sit back and enjoy the show.

The boar creature lined Aries up in his sights again. Again, predictably, it dug in its hooved feet and charged head first. Electricity again coursing over its thickly furred body. The field of static that it was emitting expanding and causing dust and other small particles to rise into the air.

((Alright, creed, go nuts.))

After several long minutes of aimlessly wandering around, Kiro entered the library just to take a peek inside. Kiro wasn't usually one to read, but he was mostly interested in who was around. There was a girl sitting on the far side of the room at a small circular table. She immediately noticed Kiro enter since he had seen her glance in his direction the moment the door closed behind him on his way in. The girl was wearing relatively harsh looking clothing, appearing as if they had been through many rough conditions. She had on a witch-like overcoat over a devilish-like dress that ascended above the knee. Kiro approached her even though he hadn't even met her before.

As he got closer, he noticed her golden piercing eyes. They were magnificent in Kiro's thoughts. To his surprise, even after sitting down at the circular wooden table she was at, she hadn't brought her eyes back from reading her book since she last checked who entered the room. It seemed like she was keeping mental tabs on everything and didn't quite need to constantly look around.

"Are you new to Calivert?" Kiro asked suddenly, but in a tone of voice that didn't make it sound as straight forward as it was.

The girl had yet to take her eyes off of the literature she was reading. "No." She asserted.

"Oh really? I haven't seen you before. How long have you been here?" Kiro replied, asking another question while he was at it.

"Almost two years." She replied in monotone. Her golden eyes continued to scan the page she was on.

"Really? That long? What's kept me from ever seeing you?" Kiro wondered.

"I'm a team substitute most the time. Or work solo." She replied in the exact same way she had done before.

"Ahh, I see. You've been constantly switching teams so you never get the chance to get remembered. That's understandable." Kiro responded in a friendly manner. "So, what's you're name?" He asked soon after.

"Enyo." Enyo answered, turning the page on her book but not even redirecting her eyes.

"Enyo? What a unique name." Kiro commented. "So, Enyo. What are you reading about?" Kiro asked, continuing his questioning.

"History of the creation of Calivert and it's main branches of power. I've been here for a time, but I still have much to learn about what happened before I came here. It seems like it mentions you're name in here once or twice, Kiro. Though at first, some called you Demon Eyes Kiro. You may not know me, but I know you. You seem to have a long history here as a partner with William Daarkwulf who is also mentioned in this book many times. I don't quite know either of you're abilities though, these books only tell me general statistics and dates about mostly veteran Guardians and Hunters." Enyo replied, actually lifting her eyes from her book now and staring Kiro in the face while she explained.

Kiro was a little taken back by the amount of speech she had just accumulated compared with what she had minutes before about other questions. Perhaps the reason for that is because it doesn't pertain to herself. She seems like a more realistic statistic kind of person. Kiro thought as he studied her and her words.

"Wow, I'm a bit embarrassed that you know all that. I didn't even know our names were written in books here." Kiro replied. "And maybe I could show you my abilities another time. We might even end up being on the same team, we will find out later once we get assigned new teams."

"I see..." Enyo replied and returned her gaze and all of her attention back to her book.

Kiro sighed and leaned back slightly, stretching a bit in his seat. There she goes again. Back at it. Kiro mentally commented on Enyo.

(( Let me know if it's too hard to tell who is saying what in this post, I may start color coding too. MAY. By the way, Stoic, when are we getting to assigning teams? This day? Or the next? ))

((Once I am satisfied that we have enough members. And, yeah, color coding might be a good idea when you are using multiple characters.))

(Sorry I have posted for... well... quite some time. I had a week off from school and for some reason, I do almost absolutely nothing when I have a lot of free-time. I don’t know why. Anyway...)

Isaac had been chuckling a little after Tyrone's battle with Kiro. Honestly it was enjoyable for him. But it only got Isaac's own blood boiling. And most of the people had gone from the dome, at least anyone that looked like he'd want to fight them. He figured it would be time to head back to his room and hit the cloth dummy he had made a few hundred times. But Isaac knew that would get him nowhere.

"What I am gonna do!? Cursed indecision and boredom..." Then Isaac got an idea, one unlikely to be followed through, since he would likely have to leave his weapon behind, but Isaac had just gotten curious on what Calviert on the outside of the Hunter/Guardian Corp. Headquarters was like. Well, in more detail. He had seen it on his way in, but since his arrival he hadn't left the Headquarters.

Isaac tapped his chin as he rode the elevator down to the entrance, it would be some time before he decided. Maybe a stroll would help.

(Sorry my 'return' isn't spectacular.)
