Tokeru smiled at his lover, and opened his eyes slightly. I love you he thought to her, and gave her another kiss.

He grabbed her hand, and held on to it while he closed his eyes again.

Eden had actually fallen asleep for the second time since she'd been a vampire, fallen asleep without remembering that she had. No, she hadn't been exhausted since she didn't require sleep any longer but it was still something that was nice every once and a while. It made her feel and seem just a little more normal and human even though she knew she wasn't along with almost everyone in the New York Hunters. When she awoke, her hand was being held by her love, whom had also fallen asleep beside her. The sight was so cute that she couldn't help but smile and sigh slightly. She wished that she could be human for him again, that she wasn't cursed and doomed to be a vampire for eternity. The sunlight was a real drag since she loved going out in the day but the biggest thing on Eden's list was not being able to have a child. Meredith loved kids and to not be able to have them with her love was something that seared her to the depths of her very soul, like a hot knife to butter. It was a sensitive topic and Edith tried to forget it as often as she could. 'You sleepy head, I love you but we're going to have to get our asses back in gear and actually contribute to the Hunters or else we're gonna get kicked out.'

Tokeru smiled but didn't move. The Vatican's here, we don't need to do anything for now. They're here to help, we might as well let them. Gods know when we're gonna have this chance again, we might as well enjoy it don't you think? Besides, any one of us might die tomorrow, we should make the best of it right now.

Tokeru kissed her on the cheek, and smiled, then closed his eyes once again.

"Yes we do," Eden said aloud, obviously troubled by something that she possibly hadn't thought of before. "I know it's not fair to you but I feel guilty right now for doing this because I know that Kerrigan and Lydia are both unable to do this with their husband and fiance because they're missing. Those men are my brothers and I'm just lying here as though they're not missing at all and that nothing's amiss. I need to be doing something to show that I actually care. It's one thing to say I care but sometimes I need to show it too. I know either of us could die any time and any moment but it's a risk I'm willing to take to help find my brothers and keep them both safe. They're too precious to just sit around and wait for them to return to me for." She kissed his cheek and squeezed his hand tightly then got up and made to get ready. She got all of her hunting gear on and she'd taken a shower after what'd seemed like years. Clean again, it was a nice feeling for sure. "I love you, Angel. I'll see you later, come with me if you want but I'm going to do a patrol around the city, starting by Starbucks because I want a damned frappucino." With that, she departed, refusing to show her tears of discouragement.

Tokeru sighed, wanting to remain like that with her for as long as possible, but she was decided and left. He made up his mind to follow her, at least he could spend his time hunting with her.

He gathered his clothes and equipment, and followed after her.

"Oh," Jack spoke to himself in a tone stating the matter of the fact, "Did I just hit you across the face?"

He sat on a bean bag chair near the television; a XBOX control in his hand, and one of the greatest games ever made was being played. The Psychologist laughed at the foolishness the sentries were displaying. They could not compute that Jack Dupree was (in fact) ******** and they underestimated his superb Krav Maga moves. A terrible mistake, if I say so my self, and Jack did say so.

"Pity," He said to the game, realistically it was all with himself, but it was great to gloat. "These guys are so bad that Lambert could do this himself."

He stumbled in, wandering through the lounge and nodding (and smiling) to familiar faces. He didn't usually take down time, but supposingly it was time for one of those "I have to do it" modes.

Kashkin had his hood up, sneaking around until he found his target. He quietly pulled out a string bomb he had picked up at a flea market and crept foward, his target unaware of his presence. He got closer... closer... and closer yet, until finally.

"BAM!"

Kashkin pulled the two strings right next to Jack's ears, laughing evily.

Mission complete.

"Do you have ANY idea how hard it is to find you in New York?" Kashkin said in an annoyed yet relieved tone. He laughed to himself, smiling. It had been years since Kashkin had seen Jack Dupree. Oh, sure, Jack still had that same aura about him, and that same smile, but that was OH so decieving.

Jack Dupree was one of the most VICIOUS and brutal fighters he had known. He had heard stories, and even seen him go on hunts sometimes. If you think that vampires did scary s**t, Kashkin would laugh and punch you in the pancreas. This guy could take down legions if he actually ever got pissed. Too bad they had parted ways for some time. He missed how Jack used to take his time and trade calm and funny jokes with the creatures he hunted.

Well, before he dusted them into oblivion that is.

And then Kashkin began to think about squirrels. How many nuts could they fit into their mouths? Could flying squirrels be trained to use grenades?

Why weren't squirrels painted orange for being so hazardous?

"Heya, Jack! Long time no see!"

Kashkin

"Oh, God!" Jack fell off the bean bag as the small, yet loud explosion went off. There had to be something in the rules about this. The Psychologist Hunter rolled around to face an old friend. An odd jokester of a hunter named Kashkin. Some said that Jack was impressive, but this kid had it. Had what? Jack couldn't tell you that? It wasn't potential.. What the ******** was that anyway, Jack thought to himself, anyone could do what they truly believed in! Kashkin believed in blowing up s**t. It was scary too... along with his possible schizophrenia.

"It's hard to find me period," Jack agreed with a smile as he picked himself up with a chuckle. "NYPD has me up at all hours of the day, and the problems that fellow hunters and civilians have keep my appointment list open."

He stood at his full-height and dusted off non-existent dirt from his black bomber jacket. Jack still remembered Kashkin clearly. The dude was a great friend and definitely backed you up in any fight. No matter up. The kid had an unlimited amount of fuel backing up his fight spirit. Kashkin wanted to cure his sister of vampirism. And as a true friend should, Jack backed him up with the mission. By any means necessary!

"That was pretty loud, Kashkin. Welcome!"

Kashkin laughed aloud, his voice sounding in the room.

"The NYPD has been pretty busy as of late. I've seen quite a lot of movement going on in that department." Kashkin looked around at the people surrounding him. He was sure that none of them were paying attention. His face went from a wide smile to a grin. "Hey Jack... I think we need to take a walk to catch up on times missed." Kashkin was going to ask him for help, but it would be pretty bad to talk about a vampiric sister in a room full of slayers.

"So pick a place and let's get walking, shall we? Unless I'm interrupting your game." Kashkin pointed to the t.v. with the paused game screen.

What if humans could fly? Or possibly become humans and change into elephants?

"I don't know about elephants."
Kashkin mumbled to himself, nodding in agreement with his train of thought.

Squirrels? Now THEY were spawns of pure evil. Birds, too. Kashkin hated squirrels.

"You don't even know," Jack started as he turned away to turn off the XBOX, "The park is good for that sorta stuff." The psychologist could tell that Kashkin wanted to talk in private, then again so did everyone else. Let it ride. "I don't know much about elephants either.." He gave Kashkin a confused gaze and walked out the room.

Kashkin

Kashkin nodded, getting up and laughing. He knew people would think him strange. Truth be told, he was. Adjusting his sweatshirt, and moving his belt so that his pistols were once again on the back, he quickly followed Jack out. It would be around that time.... Soon... In a few hours, his sister would come and hunt him down... He needed Jack's help badly.

Mephlius walked into the Entertainment room, as per Tokeru's orders. "Tokeru?" He called out.

Tokeru arrived at Haven, and blazed his way through the checkpoints, ignoring most of them and the guards who let him pass without incident.

He arrived in the room, and sat on the sofa. He removed the white mask and rubbed his eyes, it put a strain on them to keep changing forms, his vision was slightly skewed when he changed, and it made co-ordination difficult.

He re-positioned the "Phantom of the Opera" mask on his face, and waited.
