Dude-LAP gayus fagus Austin Shipp collins is only 2 years older than delhomme Where the hell are you getting your info? Just look at a picture of each and tell me if Delhomme looks as old as Collins. Why do you never think inside the box? A simple 20 second Google search would justify that he is right. Jake Delhomme was born 1/10/1975 Kerry Collins was born 12/30/1972 ...Collins is older by only two years and eleven days. stare

Well first of all, appearance has nothing to do with their ages and performance. ...Anyways, I think it's a draw. Kerry Collins had the better career. Jake Delhomme had the better season. Collins had a better playoff performance, although both lost. Delhomme may have more upside, since his is a bit younger, but Collins is a veteran leader than can get it done. ...It really depends on the team around them. As of now, Collins fits the Titans well and Delhomme fits the Panthers well.

I think that gives him an advantage over Collins. Delhomme, I think, would be the better choice in the long run. Although, Collins does a lot better under pressure. I have to give him that.

Players get surgeries to repair themselves, not to improve themselves. The Tommy John surgery that Delhomme got was to heal his arm from ligament damage. Sure, it made him look better than he did when he was injured, but it didn't improve his game. I have to say, though, that he made a pretty good recovery, considering how long it usually takes.

What do you mean no improvement? This year was his best year since his 04 and 05 seasons, where he actually set a few records. his 06' year was garbage, and 07' was cut short for reasons stated earlier. His throwing arm is much stronger than it was before, and I believe he will continue to improve.

He physically didnt improve his arm strength or health. He just had a very good season, because he had a good team around him. Believe it or not, a good defense and good runningbacks actually help a QB too. Then there's Steve Smith and the addition of Mushin Muhammad, and a good offensive line.

By the way... How the hell is Ryan, Pennington, and Delhomme in that poll and not Drew motha effin' Brees? Tony Romo even? Favre maybe? Warner?
Come on. I mean really. Come on. I go with Carson Palmer by the way. xD Shaun Hill. I must fix this travesty!
And Jake Delhomme? Come on. A good quarterback? Nah. When you have Smith, you gotta throw for 4000+ yards and 30+ TDs. Lol. He's not a good quarterback.
He's a winner, I give you that. Played well in that Super Bowl. Lol. Lost though. Adam Vinatieri.

I didn't mess up. I did that purposely. For one, Brady is out injured and stuff. Granted, he's still good, but I didn't really feel like putting him in there. Also, Eli, statistically didn't do as well as Cutler, Rivers, or Rodgers. That's why.
And Delhomme... He shouldn't even be in there... You people and your biasedness. Lol.

Oh, okay.
...I'm just wondering why so many people were down on Brady. Everyone gets injured, and just because his replacement did fairly well doesn't mean that he isn't as good as when he was healthy.

I have nothing on Brady. He's very good. Even with Moss and Welker, to throw 50 TDs is something. Not even Montana or Young got that high with Rice and JT. Even Rice and Owens...
