Months are WAY easy once you have the numbers down becasue it's just adding the numbers of each month in fronth of "Gatsu" which means month in Japanese. For example, since November is the eleventh month in the year, you would use the number 11 before the word "Gatsu." Understand? So, let's list out all twelve months, shall we? ^_^
January = Ichigatsu Febuary = Nigatsu March = Sangastu April = Shigatsu May = Gogatsu June = Rokugatsu July = Shichigatsu August = Hachigatsu September = Kyuugatsu October = Jyuugatsu November = Jyuuichigatsu December = Jyuunigatsu
There you go! ^_^ The months are actually very simple! Just remember the Gatsu at the end! ^_^

Ohh wow~! They really are so straightforward! surprised ~twiddles her thumbs, sitting at her desk~ So, is that basically all there is to know about months? No hidden dates and stuff? And is the 'gatsu' just pronounced 'gat-soo'? ^^ ~continues to babble on until she notices no one saying attention~ >.>; ~throws her eraser at Cloud's head~ ^^;

*Slaps self* Oh yes.... this is a classroom. Ahem~ Anyway, that's basically for the months. However, the dates are a bit different. Say you would like to say the 12th of November. You'd have to say juuni-nichi no Jyuuichigatsu. Basically if you want to use the "TH" after a number, you have to use "Nichi" afterwards. There's still a whole lot when it comes to the dates and year but I was just focusing on the months first.
For an entire format in English it's usually mm/dd/yyyy but in Japan it's yyyy/mm/dd. So instead of 03/21/2009, it would be 2009/03/21. The kanji would be 2009年03月21日
And to pronouce "Gatsu," the "T" is silent so it would be "Ga-Soo."

No, that's okay! I will explain again.
You know how if you were to make a date with someone, you would basically say, "Let's do it for the 15th of October." Well, in order to say that in Japanese, it will be "Juugo-nichi wa Jyuugatsu."
The "TH" sound in numbers in English is the "Nichi" sound in numbers in Japanese. So, the "13th" becomes "Juusan-nichi" and the "16th" becomes "Juuroku-nichi."
When it comes to writing the dates in English, it usually goes Month/Day/Year. For example, today is 03/23/2009. However, in Japan, it's Year/Month/Day. So, they would write it as 2009/03/23. To actually distinguish it being a date, the kanji used after each number let's the person know what exact date is being talked about. Here's the complete date: 2009年03月23日 The kanji after the 2009 let's the person know it's the year. The one after the 03 is saying it's a month. And the one after the 23 says it's a day.
I hope this better explains what I was trying to say before. ^_^
