Imordana woke the next morning fully satiated from the wondrous night she had spent in Dra'nahfiel's arms and sighed. She stretched, and began to pull her clothes back on slowly, every now and then casting a glance over at the softly snoring male. Dra was quite a sight, he was practically spread eagle on the bed beside her which made her smile.

When Dra rested, he really rested. And after last night, he was in for a week of resting if not more. Just thinking about the night caused tingles to go down Imordana's spine. After reflecting on everything that had gone on, Imordana felt closer to Dra than she had ever been. Despite their having been separated for several years, the spark, the feelings they had had before were still there. Albeit much stronger and weathered than before. Perhaps the time apart had been a smart move for the both of them.

Imordana sighed happily, reapplied her makeup with the help of Dra's long length mirror, and then pulled her cloak back over her shoulders. Before leaving, she made her way back to Dra, murmured in his ear soft promises, kissed him on the cheek and pulled the blankets around him. Dra moved slightly, his eyes opening to small slits. When he saw she was heading out, he murmured a goodbye as well as a promise to meet up with her again soon. Imordana smiled in his direction and then left.

She made her way down the winding stairs, in a euphoric state of mind. Everything was good, and she had no doubt that everything going on in her House would finally be going her way. She suddenly thought of Gir, and concern fluttered over her features.

She couldn't help but wonder what the young drow might have gotten into with her away. She just hoped that nothing had gone awry and that no one had caused him any harm. She really should have found another way for him to keep himself occupied while she had been gone. With these thoughts going through her mind, and causing her alarm, she hurried through the streets going as fast as she could towards the House.

In a record time, she was flying up the stone steps and to the front door of the House. Fenrir stared down at her, half asleep his large tongue hanging out the side of his mouth. Imordana paused to pat the gargoyle on the nose and then after that was done she pulled the front door open and slide inside.

She was met by silence. A silence that worried her. Sure it was early, and most of the household staff would still be waking, but most of the time there was some sort of noise echoing throughout the marble hallways. She strode down the hallway towards her quarters, intent to check on Gir before she did anything else. She figured if he was up he would either be waiting outside her room or his own. She came to an abrupt stop when she found Gir sitting stoically outside of her room, his clothing not in the least bit messed. She couldn't help but smile down at him, as she spoke.
"Good morning Gir, how was your night? I hope you didn't run into any trouble. Do you have anything to report to me?"

Gir smiled as he heard the approaching footsteps of his lady. She had a concern about her walk but yet a lightness to it as well. Which meant his lady was happy but worried. He gave her his brightest grin as she walked up and addressed him in her usual motherly mannor. Ah how beautiful she was, even this early in the morning.

"Good Morning Lady Imordana!! Gir had a wonderful night! He slept well!"

He had a childish look of glee on his face as she asked about getting into trouble. Trouble was a relative when it came to Gir, for what others saw as trouble was just another game to him. He looked up at her with a small smile then reached up to take her hand.

"Gir has a story. He will tell you."

Once leading her into a quiet place he took a seat on the floor. His mind began to paint a picture of what happened as he described his encounter with Brother Gir. As he described the scene a smaller version of it played out infront of him, at Imordana's feet. Once his story was finished he looked up at his lady.

"Gir.....would not let him hurt his lady in such a way."

"That's good to hear Gir, I hope no one gave you too much trouble while I was gone." Imordana replied, going to open her door to change her clothing.
However when he took her hand with a smile and confided that he had a story, Imordana paused looking at him with concern etched on her features and let him lead her away.

Once they were settled in a rather obscure room down the hall he began speaking in low rather animated tones, playing out the story with his illusions. Imordana was rather stunned as the tale unfolded, not to mention quite taken back that her brother had attacked her and Ad'hemar's visages with such madness. It was as though...he had sunk once more into that frenzied state of mind that had very nearly caused him to be committed to an asylum when he had been younger. Only this time..her sisters wouldn't becoming to his rescue and convincing the matron that the whole thing had been one of Imordana's failed spells.

She still didn't know why her sisters had sought to blame her, only that they favored him above her. She was still disconcerted by it. Though.. it didn't really matter now, they were long dead and she wasn't. The past was better off being left alone...at least for now.

"Thank you Gir. You've certainly done a good job while I was away. Though..perhaps it would be wiser to have my friend Dra watch you for the next few nights when I'm away. It would certainly be safer, as well keep my brother Ad'hemar from questioning you too...fiercely to find out exactly what happened last night. Tell me...where is Gir'bran'ur? I should make sure he's put down in the dungeons where he can't attack anyone else, be they false shadows or real. He's way to dangerous to allow to wander around the House."
