Candice smiled at the three of them and nodded. "It's a pleasure to meet you Amy and Alwyn." His daughter was sweet and she couldn't help but make a completely idiotic face at how adorable she was. "She is adorable. Oh, this is my son Matthew, we've been out all day today though. I am a photographer for a magazine and a news paper. It can be hectic but fun." She boosted Matthew up to get a better grip and they both smiled at the exact same time showing their uncanny resemblances to one another.

Logan finished up his report and set it aside so he could put it in the right box when he headed out of work. He sat at his desk for a few moments, resting, before he pulled out his cell phone and rested it in his ear. He decided to check up on Marie, since she said she had been painting today. He hoped she remembered to keep a door open for the paint fumes to escape. It would not make for a good evening if she got sick because of her project at the studio.
Logan waited a bit for her phone to ring, and then smiled when she picked up. "Hey, love." he murmured. "How's everything going?" he rubbed at the areas of his face he needed to shave while examining the ring case he'd taken out of his pocket.

Before Will had a chance to reply, the two had heard a familiar voice call out to them. He stood up and looked to see Same with another woman and a little girl. Sam married as well? I guess I'm the only single around here without a child. Will grinned as he waved back and walked over after Candice did. "Been a while, Sam."

Huilliame finished in time for the evening shift officer came in, Captain Bors. He took out his earpiece, locked down his desk and punched out for the day. He took the elevator up to the residential area and entered his room, with the tonal key, palm print and DNA scan. Aki was asleep and he sighed. Taking off his flak vest and collar, he walked over to her where he shook her awake. "Hey. Sorry if I'm a little late. Work over ran." Huilliame kissed his partner on the cheek and walked further into the apartment, taking off his combat jacket and undervest. His furry body meant he could tolerate the low temperatures Aki required in the apartment. At the fridge he poured a drink of apple juice and was approached by the cat, a large brown and white Maine Coon cat named Alphonse. He stroked it and poured a small bowl of biscuits for the animal.

"Park sounds fine to me, as long as we're out of this godforsaken base." Fulgrim pushed himself away from the wall where he was leaning and shrugged his shoulders to adjust the folds in his jackets, patted his pockets to confirm he had his wallet and keys and looked expectantly at the other two. "We can go as soon as you guys are ready, I'm set as is."

Marie was finishing her second coat when her cell began to ring with Logan's ringtone. With a final roll of the paint, Marie grabbed a cloth and wiped her hands as she swept across the covered floors to her cellphone on a cardboard box across the room. "Hello!" her voice sprang after she flipped it open and placed it at her ear.
"Hey, love," said Logan's voice on the other side. "How's everything going?"
"Oh great! Eh.... well, the air conditioning still hasn't come. I'm pretty sure he won't come and this has been the second time," Marie sighed in frustration. "Most the painting is done. Just some trimming to do and then I can finish figuring out the speakers... Everything is good though. I feel happy about it all, despite set backs." Marie sat down on the card board box.
And then she fell through it. There were tearing noise, an "eep!" and a thump in the background before groanish laughter came from Marie's voice. "Ouch... I fell through the cardboard box I was sitting on. There goes my table. Ha," Marie laughed lightly and sat in the remnants of the box.
"How's your day, honey?"

Logan scrunched up his nose at the news that the air conditioning people hadn't come in yet. He smiled soon after, though when she fell through her 'table'. He was glad she was happy... she'd been working to get the studio space and such for a while, now. He chuckled softly, and then sighed lightly.
"The day's been going well. Not too busy, though there's a lot of information to store." He replied, still smiling. "Oh- Hulliame informed me that there's a meeting at Nine, here. The Equipment shipments came in, and there's a few new admin rules he needs to relay." he figured he'd mention it now, as he was thinking later he would be too nervous to remember.
Logan chuckled as he thought of how he would sound later that night, nervous and asking Marie's hand in marriage. He rested a hand over his eyes a bit. "You still clear for tonight?" he asked casually.

Aki relaxed once she realized who was by her, twisting around to watch him. "It's fine, we've got an hour or two till we have to be anywhere." she said, getting up and letting her own control of the temperature lessen. The air conditioner could do it's job, and she could deal with temperatures over 60 or so. "Who was it today?" she asked softly, leaning against the wall. She watched the cat pick at the biscuits, remembering her reaction when she first saw it. She was still surprised she liked it, having always hated her family's cats. Then again, the cats hated everyone and she had wound up scratched up more than once from just walking past them.

"Of course we're still on tonight," Marie blushed a bit and giggled. She slowly got up, brushing her pants off. "What time is it right now and where and when will I meet you tonight?" Marie rubbed some of the paint from her hands.

Logan thought for a moment, 'hmm'-ing lightly to himself. "I get off at... Three-ish, today. It's almost one thirty. I need to get some things done afterward..." he paused a moment. "Six tonight, at my place? Would that work for you, love?" He had a dinner and a movie thing planned. He needed to pick up some ingredients for the dinner, and he had the movie already. It was for after 'the question'.

"Yes, that sounds great. I'll finish the trimming and have time to get home and get ready. "See you at six and have a good day, love," Marie stated before hanging up the phone. She looked at her work with a critical eye a moment before proceeding to find her off-white paint can.

"Sure has," Sam replied with a smile. "Your name's been floating around the University for the last week or so; the students are excited to have you in town. Seems you've made quite a name for yourself!"
Before he could continue speaking, Sam's cell phone began to ring. "Oh, pardon me." He pulled it from his pocket and held it to his ear. "Yes? ... Oh, hey, Robert. ... The workshop? Sure, I'll be there. ... Yes, sir. ... Alright, have a good afternoon."
As he put the phone away, he continued. "Say, Will, if you have time later, would you mind coming to my writing workshop this evening? It'd be a welcome change of pace for the students, and they might enjoy knowing we went to school together."

He smiled and set down the glass on the counter. "If you want, we can just set an alarm and go to bed for a while." Huilliame said walking towards the sofa. He sat down and leaned on her, putting his furry head in her lap.
When she asked who it was, he knew what she meant. "Nicola Erwen, that woman who bought us dinner." He said, with the usual detachment between his job and home lives. The Tv in the apartment was only plugged into the Bluray Omega player. Huilliame only watched his video collection so anything else was redundant. But then there was a lot in the apartment that many would question. Two bathrooms for example, one without air con. And the extensive air conditioning itself was another point. While they were still some time aways from full cohabiting, they had both their homes rigged up to accomadate them both.

Isabella sat in a small coffee shop, her sapphire gaze focused at watching random strangers walk by the large window that overlooked the crowded streets in Harbour city. With a small sigh, she looked down at her strawberry tea and pouted slightly.
" How is it that nothing interesting happens on the day I have nothing to do. "
Pushing silver-blue strands away from her face, Satina took a spoon and stirred her tea absent-minded before a vibrate began to crawl up her body. Reaching into her black long coat, she pulled out a small white phone and held it over her ear.
" Ms. Diodorus. Who's speaking? " She murmered softly into the phone before instant anger clouded her features. " I'm not coming to work today! it's my day off! Go bug Andrew. " She grumbled, taking a sip of her tea. " NO! " Bella blushed a light pink when she felt eyes staring at her. " Fire me then! Lets see how many customers you have left when you do! " She muttered before pushing the end button.
" Stupid.."

"Now why would I want to do anything normal or conventional?" Aki retorted, smirking faintly before he told her who had been killed this time. "Her? Why would- oh..." she fell silent, realizing who exactly the woman partway through asking 'why would anyone kill her'. "How bad was it? Like any of the others?" she asked, looking down to him. It wasn't unusual for her to ask about the cases, curious about what was happening but also wanting to help somehow, somewhat. However, she rarely offered the details of her own, especially when it was a killing. Neither of them really wanted to know much, except perhaps who it was. Even then she didn't volunteer it, as it was easier to be surprised about a death when you didn't have to act like you didn't already know.
