What I do care about is that what they do makes them happy. THAT is all that matters.

It seems you and I are agreed on many topics. I've long preached the importance of the happiness of the self above the insecurities and doubts and social repercussions. I mean, there's a difference between killing or torturing someone because it makes you happy, and crossdressing because it makes you happy. The worst thing that crossdressing can do is make some intolerant person uncomfortable or angry. That's the fault of the intolerant person, in my opinion.

Like Bodster_gwg said, as long as what makes you happy doesn't hurt anyone else, then embrace it. It's what makes you YOU. It's what makes you unique and beautiful, so go with it. Be yourself, make yourself happy. As long as you're not hurting anybody, then there's no reason not to. If people scorn you for dressing in the opposite gender's clothing or taking on the opposite gender's role, that's their problem, not yours.

... you're being very crude and somewhat disrespectful. I'm in no position to ask you to stop as an official; I'm not a mod, or even someone with more sway in the guild. But as a person, I must ask you to tone it down a little.

What's to say that VersaceAngel is female-to-male trans rather than male-to-female? Why would you assume such a thing, and on what did you base your assumption? And though you probably assumed correctly, what would make you think that Angel wouldn't be offended by a statement like that? Or did you realize that your statement would be offensive, and decide to say it anyway?

You've been rather rude in other threads as well. It's starting to bother a lot of people. Could you please stop? sweatdrop
i am sorry i do not mean to offend or piss others off i am truly sorry.

Although I do like feminine men, I don't really put much stock in someones aperance. I'm quite lucky that my fiance has a very feminine phsyique (Minus the ugh... Differences, of course), and long hair, He's also Gothic, so he wears makeup from time to time (Usually when we're going out for the evening).
To be honnest I don't know what it is with a "man in a skirt" That attracts me, all I know is, it does! biggrin
Men can look just as pretty as women sometimes, in some instances they can look better.

Hmm....I like girls in suits and men in dresses. It makes me happy.

I cross dress on the occasion. For plays, I usually get cast as a male (I have broad shoulders, a deeper vocie than most girls, and I'm pretty tall, about 5'1'0") and end up in a suit.
Last halloween, I went as a male devil (Mephistopheles) and on school crazy days, I went in various suits I've collected. I actually have some pretty nice pictures of me like that.

Honestly, with society being the way it is these days, I'm convinced that it's near impossible for a girl to actually crossdress.

I mean, I wear guy shirts and shorts all the time, I have only my right ear pierced ((due to a freak accident in karate...I used to have both pierced. xp )) with a rather androgynous small hoop earring in it, and I get "oh...you're a tomboy" from a girl who walked into the nurses' office during spring semester. ((I was the nurses' aide at the time)) -.-

I swear to you, in this day and age, it is nigh impossible, if you are female, to crossdress.

Anyway, on to the guys.

I'm sorry, but I love feminine-looking guys. I'm bi, with a strong preference for females, but androgyny turns my head faster than a girl wearing leather. ^^ It's one of the reasons I love anime so much. Bring on the girly guys!!!

But, my attitude is starting to have an influence on some of my guy friends. One of my friends let me put eyeshadow on him ((though we had to pass on the lip gloss and eyeliner...it made him look really whorish..^^;;; )) and borrowed one of my stretchy black tanktops before we went to Skateplex, a local rollerblading place. Our female friends payed more attention to him that night than they had before, and told me afterward that "god...Dustin's really hot in a tanktop and eyeshadow."

^^

Bottom line for me, I like everyone!
Manly men are cool
And so are girly girls
But I also like my guys in chick pants
And my girls in baggy jeans

In recent times I'm more seriously thinking of doing the sex change... I'm not too unhappy with my male body, but it feels wrong sometime. If you read the poem I posted recently to my journal you might understand better what I mean.

Sayed that, I haven't cross dressed much yet. Though I sort of starting it: I bought me a girly shirt lately instead of a polo, wearing a pink scarf (I love it!)... and I'm desperately looking for hipsters that would fit me, and some colourful skirt. There are some shops that sell skirts for male, but they are all really long and only black, in the goth shops. I though want something colourful, not black... rolleyes

Lalobee, try thrift stores! I love shopping in them. X3 I've gotten four pairs of pants for $10 there before, and they tend to have pretty good stuff, if you look. One of my good male friends goes there when he wants to buy girly stuff, and he's found some great skirts that, although they are intended for women, still fit him great. I don't know, maybe the sizes are a little more forgiving for a body type that isn't as curvy there.

Btu as for the topic, I go to a gay/straight mix club frequently, and I've seen men there in skirts that looked just fantastic. Not all of them even look effeminiate, either... There is one guy in particular, a kind of stocky Persian guy who looks suspiciously like Jesus, who has this black, long bondage skirt. The first time I saw him, it kind of registered that he was a guy in a skirt, but it just looked natural on him. Like, birds have feathers, fish have scales, and Rick has skirts.

Of course, there are more feminine guys who wear skirts, too, and I personally think it looks great... Honestly, most of the guys I've seen look better in them than most of the girls. And no, I'm not obligated to say that because one of my best friends is one of them.

Personally, I opt for men's shorts and pants and a speghetti strap shirt. Best of both worlds. I do tend to lean towards masculine looks, though (I am female, incidentally). I don't like to be percieved as delicate...

I'm actually a tranvestite myself, and when I dress as a male and go out in public, no one can tell I'm female--unless I say something. sweatdrop I have one of those voices that sound like a 10 yr old girl, and I'm 20.

Anyone have any suggestions on how best to go about hiding my chest?

You know, it's people like you who make me want to start making skirts again. I'm pretty good at it, and I've made some really pretty ones in the past.

And I once dated (or I might still be--it's hard to tell at the moment) a guy in Canada who almost got a sex change done recently. He still can't make up his mind. But he's a sweetheart and I'd love him no matter what his gender. heart
