Artemis' muscles all tightened, but when she heard the familiar voice, she slipped from under his paws and batted at him with her tail, shaking out streaks of moon light in his face. "Hah! Tic Tac!"

Tic Tac grinned slightly when she batted him with her tail. He chuckled slightly then nipped at her ear. "Well hello there Artemis." He chuckled again then sat back on his haunches with a grin on his face. "Its nice to see you today." He smiled.

Her ear twitched in response and her flakes shook, "It's been awhile... How are you? And your daughter?" she hadn't expected to run into this ale today, but idly wondered if she had been pulled to leave the pride to meet him.

Tic Tac nodded to her with a small smile, he was glad to see her. "Yes sadly it has." He chuckled then sat back. "I'm pretty good, and my daughter is also good." He wasn't going to bring him being a little stressed lately into this. "How about you and your brother?" He asked with a curious look on his face.

She nodded, "I'm glad to hear it. And my brother and I have been fine. The pride has been quiet..."

Tic Tac smiled slighty more at her. "Its good to hear that your doing good too." He wasn't going to say anything about the pride, he didn't know what to say exactly anway. He then flicked his hair out of his eyes then grinned, his goofy grin. "Well I'm really glad that I came out today."

Artemis grinned - well, gave a larger smile than usual, "It seems as if we were fated to meet again, hmm? Peculiar." Her wonderment was there, but she wasn't one to question events, especially not the good ones. she enjoyed being with this male, and had no complaints if they were to meet every now and again.
However, something seemed... off.... today. She couldn't help but wonder if something was wrong; her senses were tingling a bit in his presence.

Tic Tac chuckled at her comment, he had to agree with her. "Well." He started and cleared his throat. "Maybe its a good thing. Who knows? Apparently Fate does but I'm sure she just won't tell us why." He chuckled a bit then smiled at her.
"Tell me have you figured if the idea of you not falling in love still going on?" He asked with a slight laugh. He remembered talking to her about that last time he was ehre with her. This same spot. It was kinda odd.

Artemis raised a brow, "I haven't a clue in the world. I haven't met another lion since I met you..." She gave him a gentle smile, but the truth was, she felt as though she had been missing something without his being there. The pride being so quiet just helped her discover this, since she had time to laze about the valley and think. Perhaps her wish had been limited only to lions who were fated to hurt her...

Tic Tac chuckled slightly then licked his lips thinking as he looked down at his feet for the moment. "Well. Hopefully you will." He grinned slightly then flicked his hair out of his eyes. "Well your pride must really be quiet then." He laughed again slightly.

Artemis watched him carefully, looking for any sign of parallel thought. However, it seemed that her random ponderings of feelings were only her own. "Yes, very quiet... We're small, and we haven't had anyone new join us in awhile. But it's cozy... Just... Quiet. Leaves time to think."

Tic Tac made a face at her words. "That must get a little lonely at times." He then sat up on his haunches bputting his weight in his hind legs. "Also thinking all the time mades your brains fall out." He looked at her with another goofy grin, humor and amusement plastered on his face.

"Lonely? Not at all... If we ever seek the company of another lion, everyone - aside from Apollo and myself - are there for the same reason, and can seek company whenever. I just didn't want any company." Se chuckled at his joke and winked, "Then perhaps I've lost my wits recently~"

Tic Tac shrugged to her. "If you say so." He then smiled a bit at her, and nodded. "I'd have to agree, you have. Maybe I could help you find them one day?" He gave her a smrik then sat back on his haunches more spreading his wings just a bit keeping them from getting stiff as he sat there. He glanced at her for a moment then looked foreward again. "You know..." He mused randomly. "You are a really pretty lioness Artemis..." He cleared his throat with a small smile on his face.

"That would be quite the trick," she joked, looking over to him.
As he complimented her, she felt her face burn beneath her light coat, and worked hard to hide it. "Well," she stuttered, looking at the ground, struggling to regain her usual demeanor. After a few moments, she finally musters the courage to reply, now speaking in her usual tone. "I have to say that you're quite handsome yourself," she admitted truthfully, hoping that he didn't think she was saying it in return to his compliment. It was one of the things she had pondered in their time apart.
