I think an online relationship could honestly work if you really mena ofr it to happen. My mom's friend got into an online relationship and now she's happily married to the guy and they have the cutest little kid ever. whee I myself am kinda falling for a friend of mine here on Gaia, I think. We've been friends forever, and he's nice ot my little bro here (max5.2), and he and I have been having an non-stop conversation with each other for several weeks now. Plus, my friend Ryan has a girlfirend who lives in arizona, while we live in ohio. So, yeah, it could work.

I've seen several relationships prosper. My best friend Allen met his girlfriend (now fiance) online. They dated for two years and are finally able to live together. It's definitely possible with a little teamwork and a lot of commitment.

Personally, I've not had an online relationship work. But that's because I, personally, need to be able to hold (and be held) by the person I'm with. because I'm a very touchy person, and love to be hugged.

I'm a very touchy person as well, these days..... I used to be scared of physical contact with people, but having a boyfriend and many touchy friends has changed me in that aspect. To be honest, the ATG changed me a great deal as well. Was it not the ATG that eased me into the concept of physical affection with its blatant love of all things glomp and huggle? You guys taught me how much fun it can be~.....
So, yeah..... I am now a touchy person in a long-distance relationship. xP Bugger.

I highly doubt I could even imagine myself in an online relationship.
I mean I can see myself with long distance friends, in fact I have a couple. But when it comes to a boyfriend. I just don't think I could survive being away from them so long. I'm a super touchy person.
