((no its more like wood being place on the roof)) Kai sledged a rock and stacked the stones into an igloo. "OK! breaks done, now to get that last bored on the roof." he flew up to the roof and placed the board into a perfectly fitting gap between two other boards, then began nailing it in, usually with only two hits. he stood up and looked at the wood patch surrounded by the undamaged roof. "right now some tar paper" he said wiping the sweat from his brow.

The question threw Ialo for a loop, and he couldn't quite figure out how to answer it. He decided to tell what truth he could, and rest would probably be considered lying through omission. "Well, to be frank, there's a few members of the faculty that deal with the more powerful, raw elements of magic, but I assure you that the student's safety always comes first." He looked towards Athena cheerfully. "You'll learn from the best and the brightest, and meets lots of interesting people. The place was a live wire when I went there." He stopped when Zephyr appeared. "Really now?" Ialo had that trait - for someone reason he could come and go as he wished, and most people wouldn't notice right away.

Asia nodded decisively. "Well, I think it'll be fine, then. What do you think, Athena?"
She nodded eagerly. "Yes. Definitely."
Asia smiled. "Okay. Then it's decided. Athena accepts the invitation."
((Shall I assume that the invitation has when Athena needs to be ready by?))

"Alright," Ialo agreed, smiling. "School begins the first of September, which gives you a little over a month to get ready - and don't forget to pack a sturdy set of clothes, I don't think pajamas are going to cut it out in the forest." Ialo turned to leave, dragging Zephyr along. "Now, what's all this fuss about Kai?"

Kai looked at the job that he did on the roof of the building, making it look as good as new. "now that's what I call a nice roof" He said boastfully to himself, "and still a month to go before school." He crept on the roof slowly tapping each part with his foot making sure that it would hold weight. "I hate these old builds so untrustworthy." Kai muttered anoyed stepping on a few more places before he was satisfied."

Meanwhile, a private boat was pulling up to the docks, and three people stepped off, two girls and a boy. All three wore cloaks, one of the girls wearing a white cloak while the other two wore black. "I can't believe the old man's making us go to school on the mainland." One girl said, her dyed dark blue hair covering the part of her face that the hood of the cloak didn't.
"Oh, don't be such a party pooper, Danni. I can buy so many pretty dresses over here. You could do with some of the mainland clothes, you know, not those ratty jeans you insist on wearing." The girl in the white cloak said, and the girl known as Danni sneered. "Yeah right, Lia. You can have your dresses. All I know is I won't learn anything hear that we didn't learn from Ma and Pa. What about you, Ambrose? What do you think about being sent here?" Danni demanded, and the tall hooded boy walking between the two girls hesitated before speaking, knowing he was treading on thin ice.
"Well, Izzy," he began, and Danni cringed at the name. Only Ambrose got away with calling her any form of her real name, Isadora. Danni was her middle name, but the only name she allowed others to call her. Just like Lia's real name was Ophelia, but only Ma ever called her that. "I think, if the mainland's really bad, we can just conjure us up a teleportation spell and get right back home." When Danni grinned, he knew his answer had been the right one. You had to be careful with what you said around Danni, for one wrong word could have you turned into a frog before you could blink.
So they walked along the road, attempting to find the school that their parents had insisted that they attend. It was because of that that their parents had practically kicked them off their private island home and sent them to the mainland. For Danni, that meant resentment, for Lia shopping, and for Ambrose a chance to see the sights. When he wasn't keeping his sisters out of trouble, of course.

For a moment, Athena was confused. Pajamas? What the heck? Then she looked down and her face turned red. She quickly scurried to her room to get dressed, forgetting all about her prescious pasta. Xena trotted happily after her.

Across the Atlantic Ocean, in the States, in Florida, on a beach of Miami, a younger brother of Ialo was riding a bicycle down the boardwalk. "Cadwgan Enlil, really?" the boy muttered sourly to himself. "Geez Mom, you couldn't give me a normal name?" He watched the waves as he narrowly avoiding bowling over pedestrians. Cadwgan pulled up next to a bench where his twin brother, Cadwalader, an art student, was sitting. For short though, they just called each other random names. They NEVER got mixed up. "Whatcha drawing this time, Joe?" Cadwgan said, unceremoniously dumping his bike on the ground and peering over his twin's shoulder. 'Joe' pointed over at a young woman on the beach. "Check out the contrast between her red swimsuit and her white skin. It's a really good study in value." Cadwgan looked at the woman. "Yeah, she's a study alright.... You a**, you don't care about the ladies at all, do you?" Cadwalader with his sketchbook open, shook his head no. "Not really."
((And, introducing some of the other people in Ialo's family. Namely, his biological brothers.))

Lynda closed her eyes, feeling the sun's rays against her gleaming fair skin. Her white hair, although much shorter, was still as messy as it was when it was long. She slightly bent one of her knees while the other leg laid flat against her towel. Oddly enough, her eyes matched the color of her bathing suit. Yet, her towel was white with red roses printed across with a black and white wolf howling on the lower right hand corner. It was her favorite towel. She perched herself up with her elbows and grabbed her suntan lotion. She rubbed it into her skin, hopefully it will make it easier to get a decent color on her. She was in Florida, for crying out loud. Besides California, it was the state to get a tan. She knew she wasn't able to get one, no matter how hard she tried. Yet, she couldn't remember why. Another mystery to go with her past. Her eyes scanned the beach for someone who would be willing to rub the suntan lotion on her back for her. She saw two boys, one sitting on a bench with a book open and the other with a bike. They had been looking at her. Oh well, better than no one. "Hey!" Lynda called, her voice becoming strangely sweet. She raised her hand and waved at one of them to come over. "Could you help me for a second?" she called, a bit hesitant at whether or not he'd come or not. She wondered if they both would come. What would she say if they did? Oh well, she'd figure it out when it came to that. She smiled softly.

"Hallelujah. She speaks to us! Are you coming or what, Joe?" Cadwgan said to his brother. "You know, I'm going to start calling you Gary." With a few final strokes, the sketchbook slammed shut. "I know for a fact you that name almost as much as Cadwgan." Cadwalader stood up and walked over to Lynda. He was wearing a plain white T-shirt and cargo shorts (the pockets being actually used for art supplies). Cadwgan followed, wearing of all things, a black long sleeved shirt and jeans. Being twins, they both had short, straight brown hair with a single white streak, and electric blue eyes. And as Enlils, they both could turn into dragons. And while they had both just graduated high school, Cadwgan acted like he belonged back there, and Cadwalader acted more like perfect gentleman.

Lynda smiled up at the two boys and lifted her suntan lotion. "I just need some help putting this on my back." she informed them, blushing slightly. They looked familiar, but only a little bit. They had such beautiful eyes, she realized as she looked them over. They must dye their hair, she thought as she saw the white streak of hair they had. It collided with their brown hair, so it probably was dyed like that on purpose. Everyone wanted some way to be different. Too bad Lynda wasn't different. And if she was, she didn't remember how. She analyzed their poses as they stood in front of her. The boy with the white shirt and shorts stood up straight, as if he was going to take heed to anything Lynda was about to say. She found it slightly attractive. Hearing her thoughts repeat that over and over made her change the way she was sitting. She let herself fall against her side and then rolled onto her stomach. The sink of her stomach and the rise as it neared her buttocks was extremely noticeable and seemed somewhat enticing. She began analyzing the second boy, who appeared to be the twin of the other. He stood in a cool and detached way, almost appearing as though he didn't even want to be there. Then again, Lynda had seen that pose before. It was all just an act to her. No one was real anymore. Then again, was she? She decided to stop thinking about any of that, even though the thoughts ran through her mind in less than thirty seconds. She was still waiting for an answer from the two boys. She didn't know how they both were going to manage putting the lotion on her because you only needed one pair of hands to do it. Then again, the boy with the book would probably take notes as the other did all the work. Or was that a sketch book? Was one of the boys in front of her an artist? So many secrets hidden within so many people that she never had even seen before. The random jackass that cuts you off in traffic could be mourning the lost of his loved one while you curse him out because you're late for work. So many things hidden.. That reminded her of her high school. Majestic Sink High School, was it? She couldn't remember. She'd probably search it. Why couldn't she remember so many things? It wasn't like a spell was placed upon her.

The twins looked at each other. "Alright, no biggie," Cadwgan said. "Right Greg?" "Sure thing, Lee." Apparently, these for their names for the moment. Cadwalader knelt down, setting his book in the sand, and took the lotion from Lynda. He glanced at the instructions, then squeezed a small palmful out and began to apply it to Lynda's left side. Cadwgan dutifully took to the right side, smiling slightly. They both thought Lynda was very pretty, but only Cadwgan wanted to ask her out (despite the age difference).
And only Cadwalader thought that she looked remarkably similar to their older brother's ex-girlfriend.

She closed her eyes as she felt their hands slightly massaging her back. Was it that easy to get some help around here? She didn't know what everyone was complaining about. People were nice in Miami. They were the worst drivers ever, though. Then again, she only knew this from the countless rides she was given by friends, neighbors, or just random folks. She was glad she didn't have to waste her money on gas or the car itself, honestly. She turned her head slightly to face the boy with the long sleeved black shirt. "So your name is Lee?" she asked softly before she turned her head to the boy with the white tee. "And you're Greg. Nice to meet you guys." she said, resting her head back on her folded arms in front of her. "I'm Lynda. Lynda Calling. Do you guys live close by?" she asked sincerely. Most of it was just to make conversation. The little percent left was in hope that she might have something to do for the rest of today. She was supposed to be finding work, since she's been living on the paycheck of her part-time job as a translator, but she didn't think that one more day would make any difference. Hell, these guys might actually help her in her search. "What do you guys do? For work and all." she asked. Suddenly, it occurred to her how personal that might be to some people. "Not to be rude or anything, I'm just curious. You don't have to answer if you guys don't want to." she said. It was weird talking to two people at the same time. Then again, they were twins. Talking to them must be like talking to one person, right? Then again, they did seem very different from one another. She supposed that she'd find out later. And if she didn't would it make much difference? It wasn't like she was going to see them ever again.

"Yeah, actually," Cadwgan answered. "We rent a little apartment not far from here. We're both street performers of sorts - I'm a musician-" Cadwalader cut him off. "-and I'm a freelance artist." 'Greg' finished rubbing in the lotion first, and brushed his hands off. He sat in the sand, waiting for 'Lee' (who was relishing this event) to finish. After another minute, Cadwalader looked up. "Hey Lee, some moron is trying to steal your bike." Sure enough, some crook was attempting to take the bike, but for some reason, couldn't. It was like the bike was to heavy to move. Cadwgan laughed evilly as he finished up. "Let'm try."

The trio of siblings walked along the sidewalk, another new thing. No one had ever had to build sidewalks back home. It was only them, their island after all. And those things blinking red, yellow, and green...Streelights, Ambrose pointed out, while Danni marveled over a shiny black motorcycle. Lia almost got run over by a pickup truck, not knowing what in the world a cross walk was. Only Ambrose had ever been to the mainland before, so the sisters looked to him to teach them what was what.
"I can't belive it." Lia said after half an hour of walking. "Strangely enough, I can actually." Danni said cynically, and sighed. They were Lost, with a capital L. It wasn't their fault, of course. Who could've guessed that these mainlanders would've got it into their heads that people should get around following winding black tar roads and street signs? It was just...stupid. Give her a compass any day.
"Hey Ambrose, you got any clue where we are, bro?" Danni asked, running her fingers through her hair. "Umm...On the mainland." He said, and Danni looked at him blandly. "Sorry, but the old man didn't give me a map. He just said, follow the roads. But there's...a lot of them. More than the last time I was here." He said, and Danni sighed even as Lia squealed.
"What?" Danni demanded, her hand automatically going inside her cloak to grab one of her multiple concelaed weapons. "Look, Dan, it's a dress shop! Look at all the pretty things!" Lia said, practically drooling as she pressed her face up against the glass of a window advertising several ball gowns. "Forget it, Lia. I refuse, absolutely refuse to carry around another piece of clothing. I swear, half the stuff in my pack is yours. Besides, we have to focus on getting to this...Mystic Fountain high school, or whatever the hell it's called." Danni said, her annoyance quickly building.
