Fascinating article I read in the NYT Magazine a few weeks back about the sort of people who frequent 4chan and its ilk. A bit long, but like I said, fascinating. old article is old.
also, for the most part they have misrepresented /b/, equating all memes with trolling, and equating casual trolling such as "milhouse is not a meme" with more damaging trolling such as the things weev does.
of course, weev does have a point about the approacing malthusian crisis.
