She untangled her arm from him, and stepped back a short distance. This overly touchy feeling stuff was making her anxious to the point where she almost felt like she would physically react to it in a hostile way. Too much, too soon.
She wrinkled her nose, and shook her head. She hide one half of her face behind a curtain of nearly shoulder length wavy brown hair. Her eyes darted around herself, and she backed away slowly.
"I think I'm done for tonight Jack." she said firmly. She pressed her lips together, and looked very uncomfortable. She had an incredible urge to run away kicking and screaming through the crowd.
As Kizu was cool to the touch, he was warm. Which meant that he was more than he seemed. Another notch in her psyche that lead her to believe that being human just wasn't good enough for the company of those that existed on another level of life outside of the mortal realm.
"Thank you for the offer, and thank you for the dance."
The fan club had been lurking close to the bar to hang off of Jack's every word. They collectively leaned towards them in a wave of smashed bodies. Flutter felt herself tense up, and clench her fists at her sides.
A little closer. If they imposed on her space again, she would break someone's nose. Girl, boy, something in between, it didn't matter. She might be a bit of a social outcast, but that didn't mean that she had to endure being man handled, or pushed around by competitive girls looking to get lucky, or just capture a slice of Jack's attention.
They could have it. Flutter didn't want it.

As he tugged her along cheerfully he felt her pull away. He turned to look at her, his feminine features pulled into a look of curious confusion. He was so used to touching others that he always forgot other people didn't always like such familiarity. The shy girl appeared to be one of them.
She hid herself away behind her hair and backed off a little. He pouted, just a touch. Long slender fingers reached out to try and push her hair back away from her face if she stayed still long enough. She really was quite pretty underneath her nervous shell. She didn't look happy. He wanted everyone to be happy.
"Are you sure you won't stay for a drink?" He asked sweetly "You can have anything you want! My bartenders are the best, they can mix anything!" he smiled widely. "And we can go drink it somewhere else if you like. We could go out to the patio, or to the VIP area. Hell, you can have a look at my office if you want to relax for a while!" he giggled, pointing up to the large mirrored surface that was his window, overlooking the whole club while keeping his own business private.
And true, the youth was a little more than mortal, but he had spent so many years ashamed of what he was he hid it instinctively. Touching him was probably the only clue. He was a lot warmer than any human should be, even in this situation. He glanced to the fanclub as they clustered close. A raise of his eyebrow in their direction had them holding back a little as if caught in the act of stealing cookies. What a hassle. "Won't you stay for one little drink?" he pouted, batting his eyelashes at her and giving her his best hurt puppy expression.

I Am The Result Of... The beats called out to him. The smell of alcohol guided him. The feeling of movement excited him. The Dragon's Den found him.
Walking inside of the establishment, he was now in the zone. Music pounding into his ears. The ambiance like that of his room. Out of his formal clothing, he was dressed casually. A wife beater. A black, long sleeved, unbuttoned shirt. Black leather pants, sexy. Black boots, completed the attire. His emerald green eyes darting in every direction. Black, dead hair moving as freely as if the wind had possessed it. Just near the entrance, Kain took a deep breath of the alcohol, sweat and hormonal air.
Ahh.....it's been a while since I've been to a night club.
He didn't know where to start, where to go. Not even who to approach. Not a care in his mind, not even if he were attacked. .... Well except maybe in that case. ...A Thousand Electric Volts.

Flutter felt like she was trapped between a rock and a hard place. Jack was being so nice, and trying his best to entice her into staying. She frowned slightly, now admitting to herself that his confidence scared the hell out of her.
A man like him could use her up, and cause her to pine with longing for an indeterminate amount of time. She could allow herself to believe that he was genuine in his desire for her company. She had the feeling though that she had just become a pet project, and a challenge for him.
When everyone else was throwing themselves at him, Flutter was shying away from him. She felt that all that effort was worth something.
"I will stay, but I don't want to drink tonight." she agreed.
"Maybe on another night you can show me around if you want to. I would like to see how a place like this runs. I've always wanted to know."
Her eyes roamed the crowd. She spotted Kain right away, he stood out from everyone around him because he had arrived the same way that Flutter had. Alone.

I Am The Result Of... Maybe it was just him, maybe not. But something told him to continue looking through the crowd. And whatever told him to do so, seemed to be guiding him. His eyes landed and stared on to a person, female. She, herself was looking at Kain. There was bound to be a couple of people to stare at him. That sword wound on his left eye was attention calling. Hmm...she was cute, from this distance. He wondered how she was close up. Kain smiled at her...
Legs started the motion by themselves. A forward, slow march. All he knew was that their gazes met. And his instincts called out to get closer. But first, he needed to evade the crowd in the way. She saw him coming. What now, would she run away or....ignore him or......something else? ...A Thousand Electric Volts.

She would stay right where she was, transfixed to the spot by being caught staring at Kain. Why couldn't she bring herself to look away? She shook her head, and waited patiently. She thought that it could have been a trick of the light that someone would see just her out of all the people that were there in the room.
The thought of it took her breath away.
She could feel her pulse quicken, and she felt a trickle of panic. She did want to run away, but that was what she always did in new situations. She ran away.

I Am The Result Of... After a few shoves and sorries, finally. There she was and there he stood. She looked....ever better up close, to say the least. Was it destiny!? Nah.
Umm...hello!
His voice was raised slightly, due t o the loud music system. Yet, he maintained that gentle tone with his voice. He wouldn't want to seem rude, so he would start a proper introduction of himself. Before any awkwardness came. But he felt that the awkwardness was already there.
D-...do you come here often?
He felt embarrased, mostly. ...A Thousand Electric Volts.

"Yay!" Jack grinned, a wide smile lighting up his face as she agreed to stay. Even if she wouldn't have a drink with him. He could have one on his own, he supposed. Or find her something sweet and non-alcoholic. He knew there was a wide range, for those who could not or would not drink. "Wonderful! I can have one of our bartenders mix you up a Shirley temple instead if you like? They're delicious." He grinned and looked to the bar. Excellent, just the right people were working tonight too.
"I would love to show you around sometime." He smiled as he walked them over towards the bar. he secretly loved it when people took an interest in his work. He did look like a wild fun loving party guy, but he was happiest buried in paperwork and accounts. Something few people about him knew, except Raven who often sat patiently with him, amused at him working into the wee hours of the morning.
He turned to talk to her again when he noticed she'd stopped. He paused, confused, and turned his eye to look where she was looking.
Ooh.
Handsome.
Jack smirked to himself. Well well. The wallflower had an interest, and one that was interested in her by the looks of things. He giggled to himself. Once more his club was the source of true love! And he didn't care if it was true love or not at the minute. Within the Dragon's Den, every glance was true love as far as he was concerned. It was all very subjective.
He slipped away to the bar and smiled at his employees who all smiled back. He kept them happy, they served him well. He ordered a screwdriver for himself. If she joined him he would order for her and her new friend too, but there was no rush for that. Let them get to know one another. "See those two? Drinks on the house tonight for them." he smiled to his servers, pointing at Flutter and her companion. "But only if they're together." He giggled in a sing song voice.
"Matchmaking again?" Said a familiar serpentine voice. "You know it." Jack grinned up at his oldest friend, the tall red-eyed snakeman. He leaned on the bar next to him and gave Flutter a wink. "Thinking filthy things about Kaori again?" "You know it." Guyy smirked, eyes on his beloved.

It was simple really, it was a place to disappear for a moment and that was what he needed at the moment. Kaiden couldn't have explain how he got in, but he was practically shoved through the front door of the Dragon's Den. He didn't complain though, he had needed off the street for a moment anyways. There was a flaw to this though, he looked out of style here, and that was taking it lightly. With his black shirt with a black zip up sweatshirt he looked too casually dressed for most of the people here. The black bandage that covered his right eye was by far one of the more peculiar show to him, but he didn't care in the slightest. His dark blue jeans barely matched his black shirt, but he didn't care.
"Interesting." It was probably the only word Kaiden had spoken in the last hour. Kaiden pulled his hands into his pockets as he started forward into the crowd of people. While lacking very good depth perception Kaiden was rather skilled in avoiding people. He gave a thought to taking off his bandage over his eye, but he didn't feel the need to stand out any more than he already did as he made his way to the bar. He nearly ran into a man talking to a female about his age, but Kaiden simply navigated around them. They seemed too entranced by one another to even notice well what was going on around them. Kaiden let out a sigh as he leaned against the bar with his hands still in his pockets as he looked out into the crowd. It was about time he got a small break from running around, even if he was out of his element here.
It was really simple, Kaiden couldn't dance. That was a bit of a lie though. Kaiden could dance, he just refused to. He always felt out of place when he danced, and even in a place like this it would be no different. That was the main reason behind Kaiden's reluctance to even go out into the crowd of poeple. He was content to just rest from being outside for a moment.

Enjoy this one.
Kaori certainly was, remembering the video she easily pulled off a combination of stunts the two had done in the video of course minus the wall walking and flipping over, instead she did the back flip landing standing up. and 'fell' into a two handed crouch arms behind her, legs in the air and as they spun she worked up into a full hand stand.
The girl seemed all attitude and with a great cheerful grin as whoops and cheers and a few people raising their hands in the air egged her on delighted at a one hand stand pause, her other arm straight out at the shoulder as she kicked in the air only to hop in place but spinning at the same time. With a final kick, her back arched her feet landed together and the rest of her body slowly curled from bottom to top as she stood. Her arms crossed over her chest as she leaned to one side and with a smug smirk she nodded once, sharply, in satisfaction and skipped off the floor non traditionally, stops and starts, forward three steps two back sort of thing, hips twisting as if belly dancing with a glow, melting into the crowd, her movement became a normal walk as she headed for the bar.
Someone else took the floor behind her. As she neared she waved at Jack and Guyy grinning at the pair. "Hey guys!" she greeted in ear shot and turned to the tender having to yell over the loud music her voice still sounded weak in comparison to the noise, "Black Russian!" she called and got a nod. Slipping into a seat next to the leader of the Shinigami, she complemented his friend, "Great party Jack!" she beamed. And then noticed Flutter and waved at her with a cheery smile and even Kain beyond her.
Her drink slid in front of her and she sipped at it, licking her lips and at the same time slipping her hand to Guyy's and lacing her fingers with his.

His ruby eyes followed Kaori's every movement, tracing the curve of her spine that seemed to bend further than it should as she danced and displayed to a very appreciative crowd. He knew her secret. Not human like the other dancers she had the lithe grace of the cat she was inside. Silently, eyes locked on her figured, he sipped at the bottle in his hand. She was simply stunning.
And the crowd were eating it up, judging by their cheers and whoops of awe. He stretched his other senses and smirked to himself. She was having fun, barely even breaking a sweat when others would be fighting for breath by now. And then there was the wriggle of her hips as she departed the dancefloor. He licked at one of his pointed teeth, covering a small growl.
Oh yes, his thoughts were absolutely filthy at that point in time. Jack knew him well. Had she been anyone else she would have been stolen away from this place by him at that moment. But she was not. She was The Lady Shinigami and he was her lord. And not another soul entered into his mind as she approached him. He didn't have to steal her, she came willingly to him.
His smile was warm as she ordered a drink and laced her fingers through his. He gave her hand a gentle squeeze. He didn't need to speak to pass on the way he felt about her, not always. She knew he loved her deeply. "You were stunning, Milady." He murred softly, barely audible over the beat of the music.
"Wow! I should hire you to draw in the crowds!" Jack laughed, clapping his hands in an enthusiastic applause. The bartender gave the woman a nod, not asking for payment from her. The staff knew her and Guyy on sight by now, and seemed to have forgotten the little altercation between them in this very place so long ago. Jack made sure they were taken care of, as were all the Shinigami he knew. And a few he didn't.
"I should set up a dance off between you and Raven. I bet crowds would just pour in to see that!" he giggled. "Maybe we should just have you strip on the bar, that would bring in crowds too." Guyy chuckled and shook his head. "Oh! Good idea!" "...I was joking."

He had fought his way across the crowd to end up standing in front of her. Once the resistance of the crush of bodies was finished, he had lost his forward momentum, and looked to be a bit embarrassed about the situation. She raised her eyebrows with surprise, she was usually the one that had to swallow her fear and insecurity to approach people.
Which made this current situation strange in the least.
"Ah, this is my second time coming here actually." she said, clasping her hands behind her back. Someone pushed behind her to get by them, and sent her flying into him.

I Am The Result Of... Some unknown person had waved this way. By the looks of it, a woman. It would seem rude to do nothing, so he smiled and slightly waved back. His full attention coming back to the female in front of him.
So she wasn't that familiar with this place either?
I've never been here myse-
His sentence was cut short. His eyes were actually aware of his surroundings. Just like he was trained to do. Careless people walking around and by. One of them bumped right into his company. Inhaling a bit and extending his chest slightly forward, he made a bit of a human cushion for her to bump into. Arms were raised to the sides if she fell or something.
Are you alright miss?
His emerald green eyes went into a short glare at the person who faded into the crowd. 'Rude idiot...' His gaze shifted back to Flutter. ...A Thousand Electric Volts.

Flutter would grab onto his arms, and turn her head to the side to inevitably bump into him. She used his arms to steady herself, and assess the damage. No drink in her hand, so she wasn't wearing anything other than what she'd come there with. Nothing bruised besides her ego, she should have seen that coming but she had been distracted by the man in front of her.
She hadn't been paying attention. She looked up to discover his green eyes. Wow, she could stare at them for a long time and not get tired of it. She swallowed hard, and cleared her throat.
"I'm good." she assured him.
She looked down at the floor. Her handbook of pirates had fallen out of it's stashing spot. She looked down, then back up at him. How was she going to pick it up without him noticing? She knew she was a geek, but this would just prove it beyond a shadow of a doubt.

I Am The Result Of... The music damaged his normal movements. They were in sync with the music. A nasty habit of his coming to light. Well, he hoped not...
Looking up and down now. Did something break or something and Kain did not notice? Was she nervous? Embarrassed? Hmm.
Something wrong miss?
Miss? Oh wait! How rude of himself! Taking a step back, giving her some space. Lips parting to speak.
I'm sorry, I've forgotten my manners. My name is Kain. A pleasure to meet you miss....?... ...A Thousand Electric Volts.
