I'm in high school, and we usually practice about 4 times a week
monday:2:30-4 winds noly
tuesday:5-7:30 percussion and guard
wednesday:5-7:30 everybody
thursday:2:30-4:30 everybody
friday:2:30-3:30 and then the game which can be like 3-4 hours
and if there's a competition we practice for like 2 hours before that, and an hour in between double headers

during marching season we practice on tuesdays from 5pm to 9pm..then on fridays from 6 to foorball performance..then on saturdays from 9 am to 5 pm

This is our schedule at the beginning of the season:
Monday: 3:30-5:45
Tuesday: 3:30-5:45
Wednesday- no practice[church>.>]
Thursday-3:30-5:30
Friday-football games
and then for competiton... it's the same but..
saturday-7:00am-2:00am[more or less... sometimes more...]

High school
Monday- during school we have 45 minute class. And then at night from 6-9
Tuesday-No practice 'cause we're on block schedule, and 2nd is even block, Tuesday is odd
Wednesday-90 minute block period in the morning, and then 5-8 at night
Thursday-45 minute class during school, but usually our Wind Ensemble plays instead and underclassmen get study hall. I envy them
Friday- 50 minute class during school, no practice at night
Saturday- 9-4. Sometimes if we have competitions, it's different, and varies depending on where the competition is and stuff. Usually 3 hours or so, but mainly runthroughs with minimal playing.
Sunday-Day to catch up on hw. No practice.

High School
Monday thru Friday- 3:30-6PM except for wendsday...unless we really need it
Maybe a few run-throughs before football games and compitions.

My highschool band practiced Mon-Thurs 3-5 Friday-football game till usually 10:30ish Sat- comptetion day, 2 hours practice before we leave to get there and then for an hour when we go on....sundays off..wow never thought about it, lol That's 11-13 hours a week confused All that hard work certainly pays off though smile

We usually average 14 hours a week outside of school. It depends if there's a competition, but normally 14 hours a week pre-competition (starts in October for us), so the first month and a half is 14 hours a week. We have 1 week of band camp in August where we do 8-9 hours each day. Freshmen start the week before with 3 days of beginner band camp. heheh.

either two, or three times a week, because since we have band, we also get p.e. too for the whole semester. i get band on tuesdays, and thursdays, and sometimes on fridays too.

band camp is four days a week, and 5 hours long, and band camp is for two weeks. we have some stupid rule in washington (state) that we cant start band camp untill two weeks before school. scream during the school year, we have sectionals once a week and full band once a week. Those ere about two to three hours long.

I'm in a high school band and we practice every day o_O;; In the morning for 2 hours before school and then on Thursdays after school for 3 hours 3nodding gotta love the marching band sweatdrop
eh oh yeah our Band Camp starts a month before school and we practice 5 hours everyday but we have a 3 hour break inbetween the 5 hours..so it's really like 2 and 1/2 hours twice a day.

My high school band practices usually 2 times a week, plus sectionals, plus weekend rehearsals, plus show rehearsals.
Repitition is our friend! rolleyes

We have over an hour in class Mon.- Fri., and after school 3:30- 5:15 Mon.- Fri. Oh, and I'm in high school band.

good God... the entire band practiced every school morning except tuesdays for an hour, monday evenings 5:30-9, brass after school from 3:25-3:55 or w/e, the same for woodwinds on tuesday, and I think our flags practiced on tuesday evenings or something of the like... and that was only when our "section leaders" decided to have "optional" rehearsals

BTW, that didn't include class time. the (non-freshmen) kids all had 1st hour together until concert band, so for us it was actually *2* hours in the morning. egh
